I think you've got to be pretty silly to get the forum ads mixed up with signatures, though I saw it happen the other day when someone made a stupid statement about them. I don't even really notice the forum banner ads to be honest as they're not that noticeable to me or maybe I've just got used to them.
Lols,

I've seen this mistake quite often:

Another noob with an AD BANNER fishing for views/clicks. Onto the ignore list you go.

We really need to ban the banner ads from this forum if we ever want to see these shitty drama posts stop.

People have the feeling this forum can run on solar panels alone.

Why some members have a biger signature? Do I need a higher status?

Check this thread:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/forum-rankspositionsbadges-what-do-those-shiny-coins-under-my-name-mean-178608

Perhaps the allowed signature styling should change with activity score / membergroup. Like:
- Newbie: No styling (including links) allowed. Max 40 characters.
- Jr. Member: Links allowed. Max 100 characters.
- Member: Unlimited length.
- Full: Color allowed.
- Sr. Member: Size allowed
- Hero: Background color allowed

Then newbies will be less effective advertisers, which would hopefully significantly reduce the incentive for low-content posts. And when people become capable of effectively advertising through their signatures, they'll have invested a lot of time into their accounts, and they won't risk being banned by spamming.

The first days I thought that they were some sort of advanced signatures...

When you see an ad banner like the one in the screenshot below. It doesn't mean that the banner belongs to the person who created the thread. Those banners are paid ads by members of the forum, they appear under anyone who posts a thread(almost every time).
