requirements for jr member are?

how many posts. ?
how many merits = I found 1 to be this answer
how much activity ?

thanks for clarification
Number of posts doesn't really matter much if one is continuously posting.  If one posts consistently for 2 weeks, they will get activity of 14 points. Doesn't matter if they have made 100 posts in that period.
To achieve a Jr member rank , you have to post continuously for at least more than a month

Jr Member = 30 activity points

okay 30 days thanks.

yeah I knew about the 1 merit I did not know about the 30 days of steady posting rule. I must have missed that extra rule.

I have been talking with JesseJames13

on a few threads.

I have already got 62 posts to my credit. Why I am still having one coin under my copper membership rank?

To rank up your account you need to get at least 1 merit. You can read more about it in this topic Merit & new rank requirements.

P.S. And yes, please don't violate the forum rules (p. 32).

32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.

If you want to add information, you don't need to create a new post, edit the old one.

Why did my rank go from Senior to Junior member today?
The change from post count to activity?

If we can't have them, please update OP.
This will help to remove any confusion, cause this thread is pinned and will be read by tons of newbies looking for direction on the forum.
The author of the post is not active anymore, so maybe the admin can add an authors note to include that newbies can no longer wear signatures or also sticky the updated rules so they are easy to find.

That rule has already been explained in another topic as mentioned by DdmrDdmr right above your post, so I won't bother ask admin embed that rule again in this thread. If newbie want to get as much information as they need, then they should read it carefully and not miss anything on the first page.

After all, this thread was edited by the OP in 2020, so if the thread needs editing to remove something else, then he should have thought about it before it became inactive.

There are lies, damned lies and statistics. MTwain

It’s specified in the content behind the second link provided right at the top of the OP, which specifies that you need to become at least a Jr. Member to bear a signature. The 2014 quote on signature restrictions is therefore no longer valid for the Newbie entry it encloses, which may be a bit confusing without going through the said link to obtain the complete context.

Thanks for this thread it has enlightened me more about the forum as a newbie, I also which to ask how can I get merit or can I become a full member with out having anymerit?
You should have read the first post in this thread. There is even a reference link regarding merit points.

Update on 9/19/18: Merit points are now added
In addition to the activity points, merit points (click for more information) are required to advance your ranking. You will need at least 1 merit point before you can be a Jr. Member (click for more information).

To get to Full Member rank, you must have a minimum of 120 activities and 100 Merit (Merit & new rank requirements).

Regarding how to get Merit, try looking at the posts of users who get a lot of Merit. Also, try to learn new knowledge you didn't know before and try to put it into practice. Apart from increasing your knowledge, it also allows you to gain Merit.

Here is one thread that you might learn from:

@Lafu is right and @EFS is right. And we're also a bit wrong too. If you take a few color samples[1] from that half you will see mostly tints of cyan, which is basically a greenish blue. So it does have green in it. But I do agree, faded-out green isn't the best wording. Maybe greyish cyan is better?

I mean its nothing that is important i just have noticed it and thought to write about it.
My first thinking was that it was maybe an typing error or something , but its up to you if you wanted to change it or not.
In the german local board when i see the Moderator post and his coins its always a half silver or white for me , maybe it also have something to do with color settings.

I dont know really if somebody else noticed it or have written about that in the last years since this post was made.
But the quoted text is on the end wrong " shown as half faded-out green " and it should be normal " shown as half faded-out silver or white "
Its just something that i have seen when i was looking for something so maybe @Cyrus you can change it  Wink

I don't see any problem here.
If you download the image and zoom in to %500 you can see the green in it. It's not full green as it's reserved for Donator rank.

Are there any personal text restrictions? I can't find it in my account.
Unfortunately, that field is missing for newbies:

You can edit your Personal Text by accessing Profile - Forum Profile Information. There is a field named "Personal Text". The length limit is 50 characters.
The limit is not stated, indeed, but you can use only 50 characters.

Looking for guilt best look first into a mirror

Looking at your post history, it's probably because you post in boards that are ignored by most merit sources, like the alternate cryptocurrency boards. Try positively learning and engaging more with Bitcoin Technical Support, Development & Technical Discussion, mining, Bitcoin Discussion, Beginners & Help etc

Thx for the explanation although I said I don't really care.
I'm not here to get merit. I could buy it on this very forum if I cared.
