The market should not make you feel. That is a characteristic of investors that are not sure about their investing decisions or think that the result of their investments is determined by luck, have not bothered to understand what they are buying, are in for the wrong reasons. Feelings, and any fund manager can tell you about it, are just an undesirable side effect.

5 or maybe 6 years ago I was told I was an idiot because I invest in Bitcoin, and today most of those same people say I’m a genius - I honestly don’t care what people think, especially those who can’t see ahead of more than a week. For anyone who doesn’t understand their investment the right way there will always be times when they may feel like idiots, but it’s a problem that everyone needs to solve on their own.
it's very true that we shouldn't think too much about what other people say to us
I still remember many of my friends also said I was an idiot when I bought bitcoin for the first time in 2017, but right now they look like idiots

Life is not a straight line that we walk, so nothing in our lives should be understood in such a way - ups and downs are also an integral part of any investment, but in the end, only the end result is important.
Even a real genius cannot profit forever in the market because market conditions are uncertain (up and down) only those who are smart in managing their emotions, desires, and thoughts can always make a profit regardless of market conditions

The market will make you feel like a genius one day, and then an idiot the next day.Especially the FUD from various countries these days, how do you feel?
This is the case in the cryptocurrency market. If the price of the currencies that you invested pump and you made good profits from or you succeeded in concluding a deal, then here you feel that you are a genius because you have achieved abundant profit and it can be more than you imagine, but when you lose a deal or when the price of currencies dump as you didn't expect and watch the bad news about countries that ban currencies and you rush to sell, you feel like an idiot.

There's no problem with that and probably can't even call it an idiot because it's neither.
maybe I'd prefer to be too excited when I say that because if you look at what you said, it can happen because you didn't do TA first in buying something, and maybe you can see it from others, such as from the video circulating in the media about analyzing other people and relying on intuition.
and it will be very clear when it relies on personal intuition and without doing it first then the result will be, you will feel very genius when the coins you buy increase sharply. although it could be a coincidence due to luck.

It's not wrong when we make money by trading daily here, but maybe what we should pay attention to is don't be too obsessed with what other people say and try to do your own research on everything and maybe have to be smart to take advantage of the momentum where we enter the market and where we should hold and sell it.
Don't let greed take over you.

Everything business, investment, trade, or platform has its ups and downs
they have the time of immense benefit and that of loss, so the FEUD coming
in from some countries of the world especially China should not be seen as
a new strain in the fluctuations of market movement and values, though
this affect bitcoin but one being a genius is a great idea so far that will come
after the FEUD is sorted out.

I think I get the picture your trying to paint and it's got me wondering if; A hodler can ever be an idiot. That's if I'm to follow you concept of what actually happens online the market as, a hodler will definitely wait patiently until he or she gets ROI. So to the hodler, it doesn't matter when you invest or at what price you did invest. All that matters is, of you were able to  get ROI in the end and how weighty it is then, your satisfied at tha level and won't consider yourself an idiot.
For those that go for a short term investment, its a whole different story. It's either you go smart or you could be sorry because, the proximity for anything in the market is of a whole different level.

This is very common, during a bull run everyone looks as if they are the best investor in the world as every day they are getting profits and this reinforces that feeling, however we need to be realistic, like most things in our lives your real skills really shine when adversity hits you.

You can clearly see who was just lucky and who is really good when the bad times come to this market, in many cases those that were just riding the good times lose more money than what they earned, while the good traders still make money during the bad times, so do not let those feelings blind you to the truth as more than anyone you know your level of skill and how capable you are.

Losing doesn't make you an idiot or winning will not make you a genius. Fate is powerful and learning to succeed makes our fate more positive than negative.
Yes that’s right, losing doesn’t make you an idiot. And it doesn’t mean that you don’t have any chance left for you to win later. We already know how the market can be unpredictable so many times, so if you invest and it doesn’t work out that time, you can accept it and try again later. Whenever the time is right for you to gain from the market you’re going to do just that.

Calling yourself an idiot and giving up just because you lost doesn’t make any sense. Even if you win and you are feeling like you’re a genius, then you are forgetting you can still invest the next time and lose. We just have to keep on working hard and hoping that things go the right way.

Exactly as you described it, sometimes you make the right decision and you feel you know it all, other times you make a poor decision and you keep feeling bad and wishing you did things differently,  crypto is full of surprises so I try not to get carried away, anytime I made a bad decision I accept my mistake and try to learn from it rather than feeling sad.

Honestly the most probable assumption is that most of us are not geniuses or idiots. Sure there could be some super smart people or some morons, that is true for every group in life, take any group in the world and you will find smart people and idiots in that group as well.

Crypto community is not any different neither, it is similar in the sense that there are people who are idiots and there are people who are super smart as well. We should not be focusing on anything that make us feel like we are a genius because that just means we were smart to make that move for that day but a few days later we could do something wrong as well. We also should not feel an idiot just because we made a mistake, that doesn't mean that we are idiots, we just made one mistake that one day but could make a great move a few days later. Understand that we are fine and not extreme sides of a situation.

If you have your own research and study and have patience and believe in what you do, then some days may not be right for you but in the end you will be bale to make returns that you had desired from it and that is what will matter in the end as for some days/months you would not like to miss a lifetime opportunity.

Did you lose your money from the current Fud happened that's why you ask the community here to seek if there's someone get panic from the fud happened lately? Maybe you can only find few members here got into that situation but for experience member who see so many fuds happened they are just relax and thinking about buying at the dip so maybe next time if fuds happen buy when everyone is at fear and sell when everyone is in FOMO.

Well if you felt stupid, it's either you're pretty new in trading, or just that you're indeed stupid. Pretty much anyone with experience would know that the market could and definitely would destroy your expectations and shouldn't really be underestimated. Gains and losses are a part of trading, it's nothing to feel bad or wrong for. If you obtained a loss, move on, if you actually stick and get all emotional about a single damn trade, stop it, it's not for you. You'd be doing thousands of trades in the future and if one trade gets to you that much, then it really isn't for you.

Therefore, if my paltry crypto holdings suddenly spike I don't start thinking I'm a wise investor who's smarter than anyone else.  Conversely if they tank I don't call myself stupid for having the positions I have.  My advice: don't make trading/investing a personal thing; stay right-sized; and realize that the market does whatever it wants, and any gains or losses you make are due to chance.

I so much love this perspective. This is an orientation to give yourself, either you in luck with your crypto or out of luck one day. It's like fishing on a particular spot in the river, you hold your position, cast your hook and wait. You don't call yourself a genius because your hook caught some fish after a while, neither will you call yourself an idiot for not getting a catch that day, it's all a matter of luck.

Having this mindset can keep your emotions in check rather than choosing to call yourself a genius or an idiot. If you call yourself a genius, the name may even get into your head and make you make decisions with emotions, which we know is dangerous.

If you're cocky about what's happening with the market right now, I feel like this is going to be a dilemma for you because a smart person don't panic when the market goes down, they either find a way to make money out of it or even use it as an opportunity to accumulate more bitcoin.

If that won't happen, you won't learn a single thing about the crypto market.
There will be moments that you need to be cornered to push through.
I have invested again in some NFT during the dump, I think it's a good chance for an entry especially for expensive NFT tokens that are circling around.
Now that the pump is happening I may harvest some of it and think I am a genius. Or, will I be an idiot rushing the profits. I'll take anything as long as there is profits.

The market will always make you feel like an idiot. This is just gambling in its essence and that will always make you feel like an idiot Smiley Maybe for the better, as if it was the other way around, feeling like a genius, that will lead you to a false sense of security and could eventually lead to bolder moves, riskier investments and bigger losses. I'll take the idiot route.

I'm not really sure what you mean by feeling genius or idiot in the market. As for the feeling regarding FUD or news globally, I'm not affected by it. I just try to read between the line and then see if it has a drastic effect on the market. And then I don't do anything, just continue to hold and totally grind it everyday. Of course if I have some extra then I would invest. The best thing to do is like what others have been doing in the past, don't be emotionally attach, and just let the market continue it's natural course.

Why are you reacting to daily price movements in the first place? Unless you're day trading, then you should be capitalizing off both price rises and price drops. If not, then why just wait til your investments appreciate in price? If you feel stupid if prices go down then you might not know what you're investing in, hence the lack in conviction.
