The thing is that if every bitcoin was one billion, then fiat would be worthless. Just paper. And let's be realistic, fiat has overstayed its welcome.

It isnt needed for a world-wide adoption to make that prices.

I think both specially first are not possible. I believe it will stabilize at around $200-300, with few % inflation then.

Anyway, regardless of what the final number is, I think bitcoin (or some competing crypto currency) is going to bring about the most massive redistribution of wealth that the world has seen thus far.

I don't know the timescale - could be 5 years, could be 100 - but those early adopters are going to make incredible returns. NOT US, when I say early adopters, I mean lucky guys like rpietla and the rest. The poor pleb like me who will own like 1 or 2 BTC best case scenareo, will not make mega gains, unless it goes to like 100K per coin or something. But something is better than nothing, so not owning at least 1 BTC is more risky than having it all in FIAT.
