Sometimes history is always bound to repeat itself, I told a friend of mine that the match between Chelsea and Nottingham forest wouldn't exceed three goals and he asked me my reasons for saying that and I said it's the history of the outcome of most of their matches. He didn't take this seriously, I also told him that Nottingham forest might likely hold the game to a draw and he said that would never happen. It turned out that both predictions I made were accurate due to the fact that I made reference to history. As a good gambler checking things like this can increase your chances of winning.

When I first saw this, I immediately thought of games where you check out your mistakes and what you could improve on the gameplay that you can apply after. It's something the same to that extent. I believe it depends on the game as well because in luck-based games, like dice, you don't do anything because it's the result, but as for the poker and skill-based games, it should be a good reference with your replay on the strategies. I see replays of people you are up against that could help you increase your chances, though.

Watching highlights can be more entertaining than some of the live matches. For sports like football, it gives a all the major actions that happened on the match including the goals, tackles, cards and indeed all the dramas. These are the important things that spectators look out for in the event. The same can be said of basket ball, and even athletics and indoor games. Watching highlights is educating and something every gambler should find time to be watching highlights of the events they play as that can be helpful in making informed decision.
I think I don't fine highlight more entertaining compared to live games, and the reason is because highlight be like an expired drug there is nothing to gain from having it since the result have already been concluded, but on live much at least as a gambler, one can still gain alot from it because at that time you can still take advantage to bet on the local vet match and win some rewards.

The only time I fine games replay or highlights entertaining is when I missed the little ve match and it a club that I like so I may chose to watch the highlights to know how the various players perform and how best to bet on them in my future bets.

How important is it for a good gambler mostly on sports betting, to learn to always watch replays and highlights of the general matches played previously, inorder to best know how to make a proper guess/prediction on the best team to win?

Same applies for casino Gamblers, how important is it for a potential winning gambler to learn to analyze previous games and history of results to best position and strategize oneself to win bountifully?

This is the main disadvantage of gambling based on luck. The player has no competitive advantage (neither over other players, nor, especially, over online casinos).

The player has no opportunity to improve his skills and abilities and gain this competitive advantage. In everyday life and business, this is possible. For example, a businessman can analyze his actions in the past, conclusions and in the future run his business more successfully.

However, in gambling, the chances of winning in the current game do not depend on the results of the previous game. This applies to games such as roulette.

As for sports betting, here, in my opinion, it is also pointless to endlessly watch replays and highlights of previous matches. It is unlikely that this will give you information that will become a competitive advantage over other players.

If you are the type that enjoys watching sports, then it will be something common for such gamblers. I bet on football than basketball, I am the type that love watching the games that I bet on. If I don't place my bet during the weekend doesn't mean that I will not watch the matches that I can watch. Most times, if I missed an important match or a club that I like, I watch the highlights to get the proper picture how the match went and how the goals were scored.
There is always something to learn from the highlights. Watching them is never a waste of time. Let me give you some clues I have figured out over recent times. There are clubs that are very good at committing corners in a game. For example, if you watch the Arsenal game, they mostly have about 8 to 10 corners in their games, even more, when they play against small clubs. I have bet on different occasions in their game on 7 to 8 corners and have won several times. This is one good advantage of watching highlight.

It is possible that you will learn something important from the highlights that you might use as an advantage to increase your chance of making profits in your next bet. There are some gamblers who bet on how many yellow cards, how any goals to be scored in the first half and many more, not just betting on straight winning. Those highlights will help them a lot. The moment I pick up my TV remote, it's sport station first.
There is always something new to learn in every game. Apart from multiple corners, things like yellow cards as mentioned above, players to score, total number of goals, red cards, and other options.

This is what I do in some of the games that I bet on for esports. But, it's not really a requirement at all to watch all of it. If you have a lot of time in watching replays to identify how the team you bet on have lost and did some mistakes, you're able to see it. Then, it's also going to give you an idea on how they play or how the players go on with the sports that you're betting. As for me, it's about team's performance and I am able to see where they did wrong but at most times, this doesn't really give you the benefit to bet on the winning team for your next bets but just gives you a way to review how games went.

In my view, analyzing the history and predictions of a particular team before betting on that team is a natural and necessary thing for me, sports betting is different from other gambling, because in sports betting we bet based on other people playing on the field, while other types of games such as dice, slots and so on, we bet on ourselves, so the chance of winning in sports betting is determined by the team playing on the field.

Studying, analyzing, highlighting the history of the team and players is very important, this has happened to the Red Devils team, in the past they were always loved and admired by many fans, as time went by the situation changed and they were no longer a club with many fans, It's proven that Tottenham beat them, that's how important it is, as the OP said, monitoring, reviewing, it's important to know who the players have been fielding and who the past and present coaches are, that way at least we can compare their opponents and make predictions.

Watching the replay of the match is not important even though we already know the result, it is useless in giving predictions in the future.

I agree with the first comment that statistics and team analysis is what needs to be done in order to increase our betting odds while for previous matches for me it will be boring.

In sports betting, the best betting strategy is to analyze the whole team.

If you want to talk about sports bet then you must have very good knowledge about player and team performance to make a possible prediction and have very good knowledge about the previous match performance of those teams otherwise you are predicting the win probability of side and opposition team.  can't do  So it can be said that sports betting definitely depends on a bettor's experience and analysis and his winnings depend to the greatest extent.  But if you talk about casino then they are totally luck dependent so no one's prediction can be rated as probable there

By this I guess you mean casino gambler like those that bet on games like crash, dice, slots etc, right? If yes, then going back to see your game history won’t help you do anything - unlike sport bet where you can go back to watch the highlights see how each players contributed in the previous match and also see if they stand a chance against their next opponent if they should play like they did in their previous matches - casino games is based purely on luck so that won’t work.
Agree! So for football betting, you can go ahead and watch highlights and just study teams that have good team and match quality. So when you see the opponents they are playing against, you can have more confidence in the team you want to bet on.

Studying previous games can just help you have more confidence in a team you want to bet on. It doesn't in any way affect how the game is going to turn out. It just helps you make certain decisions.

Then for gambling, it would not do much, because the game is unpredictable. You can't predict the outcome, dice or whatever game you are betting on. So it may not do much for you unless you want to try out maybe a pattern you saw someone use in betting to see if it will work for you, but it is not guaranteed.

A gambler who goes by watching the highlights of the match played previously before he makes his bets on a team, should have it in mind that, the general highlights of the previous match performance of a team, wouldn't be the same because they are facing another team whose playing tactics will be far different from the team they played against the previous week.

For a gambler to place their bets from the general highlights of the match watch is wrong because each match has its match formation and the players to be played or kept on the bench. What the gambler needs to know before they make their bet, is the opponent the team is playing against, whether it's a home or away match and the players to be featured in the match.

It is very important to review of our previous bets and compare it with the recent games before placing another bet. And there are several reasons why we should do so.

1. There might be changes to players, formation, and referees. If a player is injured in the last game and is back from injury, you can expect an increase in team performance in the next game week if the player is important.

2. The last matches can prove that a team i progressing in performance and so we can use that to judge their next game but it mostly depends on the team they will be playing against.

Any strategy that will help to improve the chances of winning is always welcome so I can agree that watching replays and highlights of previous matches can help. But it's important that the replays and highlights should be that of recent matches played so that it'll be relevant and helpful in your analyses of current forms of teams for your bets. Although a team can over perform or underperform on match day, doing the opposite of their recent games so we shouldn't be overconfident based on past performances.
I don't see any point to watching replays and highlights, there might be an impressive game play done by the players, however if their performance are impressive, it would show on the statistic. Which mean, without watching replays and highlights, we can draw conclusion from the histories.

Come on we're just bettors, if we're the management or coach, definitely watching replays and highlights are really important.

Its very important. I make it a point to be very familiar on the fighters and teams so I can make comparisons against the other fighters or teams, You cannot make a decision on who is the better fighter if you do not check the previous fights and stats of the fighter or team, that is a prerequisite for a better judgement on who and what to bet.

I seldom do this on casino games because of the house edge. Even if you analyze the histories of your bets, it will not have an effect on the way you play luck based games, I just bet and let luck play a factor if I am going to win; its based on luck because trying will end up in futility.

I want to say that the actions you described, such as reviewing replays and analyzing what happened, are extremely important for a betting fan. It is very important to know the reasons why something happens the way it does, because betting is pure analytics of past meetings of teams, the state of their players, luck, and so on. Therefore, it is extremely important to understand the whole essence of what is happening, and not to forget all the causes and effects after the victory has come true.

You’re right, this is the reason why sports website usually include the previous match W/L stats of both team involved since you will know what team dominates the other team in the past.

Of course there’s always an exception on this rule. This is when there’s an update in the roster especially if the update is significant that makes the previous record of the team not valid anymore due to the upgrade.

I think watching replay and reading news for the update should be combined together when betting to have a much accurate prediction.

Despite gambling is a game their is no guarantee for gamblers to win a game, it is important for a gambler to have a better information concerning the performance of the team to be selected for betting. Gambling is unpredictable and winning is as a result of luck too it doesn't mean because gambling is not certain anyone will just come up to play bet without knowing the performance of the team in previous games.  It is the performance and statistics of a team that will be used to play bet, atleast with this it can increase the chances of winning but still it is not a guarantee.

I consider histories to be previous games, which I think it is important for bettors to get understanding about it, because I think this is one of the guilds gamblers needs to follow up.

Histories? yes, this is very important in sport betting so you will know how teams fare against each other and so you will understand it. But for replays, I do not see any value on it watching because we are a sports bettor, not a coach on let's say defense or offense.

But for games in casinos, there are no patterns whatsoever, rules are very simply, put your money on the line and bet and see how it goes for you. And for those who says that in a game like baccarat that there is a pattern, no, they are totally wrong about it.  Bank wins about 51.2% of the time. Player wins 48.8% not including ties, so that's it. These casinos are just misleading us to think that there are patterns.

Here’s what I did: I always placed my bets on the performances that looked the best. We all know it’s a gamble, and not every time will we come out ahead. Even if we spend a lot of time on this, sometimes we still lose. But I still believe there’s value in this kind of activity, even if it doesn’t guarantee success.

Of course, for some, it might seem like nothing, but I’ve noticed that our chances improve significantly when we do our analysis. Sports betting isn’t just about luck; it’s also about the results of our research. That’s why I put in the effort—I genuinely believe it makes a big difference in my betting outcomes!

How important is it for a good gambler mostly on sports betting, to learn to always watch replays and highlights of the general matches played previously, inorder to best know how to make a proper guess/prediction on the best team to win?
In some cases it is important as a gambler on sports betting to know more about football or lover of football who always like watching football in other to know which team is stronger or favorite to win a particular game, going head to head cheeking stats of team you choose to bet on, but due to the way football is now watching highlight or replay or going head to head doesn't necessarily mean anything now or doesn't guarantee that the team with a better head to head or that is favorite to win that will surely win the reverse could be the case as football sometimes can be unpredictable.

Since gambling involves money a gambler really need to take time to do some forecasting about it for a better 80 to 90% winning chance, still watching replay and highlights are also important as a football bet gambler .
