So whats the issue with it?

If Mark had named Bitcoin one of his pets then his fully aware about Bitcoin existence and there might be some possible change of minds in near future in regards to Facebook platform

but these are just pure speculations but its a bit obvious that we would really be seeing some similar events just like on that acceptance made by Paypal and Tesla.
If this thing could possibly happen then we can really shoot up to the moon or new heights on bitcoin price but im not really expecting that much though.

He should have named them Cameron and Tyler.  More seriously, I always thought that the Winklevii played a role in Zuck not wanting to invest into Bitcoin and instead create his own alternative.  History loves to repeat itself as much as it loves irony, in this case Mark Zuckerberg trying to start his own coin definitely rhymed with how he managed to be the "creator" of Facebook after taking a developer job to build it.  It would have been funnier maybe had Zuck actually forked Bitcoin and backed his chain to make it the longest.  Maybe that's what Elon is up to...

Bitcoin and Facebook seems are at least to me a perfect fit. Both are good surveillance tools for corporations. People need to be very careful when using both of them. Also remember this. They will start shilling Bitcoin the moment they will bought enough. When we will see Zuckerberg start making lots of similar posts we will know he dont buy anymore but already started selling.

Bitcoin is not a name that you give to animals or even most pets. I have no idea why he posted that photo with the goats. He likes to play mind games and there probably is some reason why he posted the photo with the 2 goats.

If I had to guess, I don't think Facebook invested in BTC because it would be too easy to guess that by his FB post. Most likely he posted that to lead us to believe they bought BTC but instead they did not and it was just sending us on a wild goose chase. No idea.

We will see what happens during FB next earnings call, only then will we put this mystery behind us.

Yes, there are a lot of rumors about Facebook buying and investing in Bitcoin, but I am still not convinced yet, there is no evidence that Facebook bought or intends to buy Bitcoin, it could be that the reason Mark Zuckerberg launched this name on his two pet goats is that bitcoin has reached the top Price for it and it will start to drop after that, especially after we heard that Eloom Musk refused to accept Bitcoin to buy Tesla cars because it affects the environment !!!

And then CZ.

These dudes. What are they trying to portray?
I answered yes. I think Suckerberg  Grin already did buy Bitcoin years ago. He's a technology guy, he knows a lot about it and maybe even understand it more better than us. With Libra failing he may just have to rely on the coin that is already existing. Yes, that's better.

So they are jumping into that pet goat names eh? hehe.

With these dudes then there's no doubt that theyre neither been holding bitcoin already for a while or simply these using the name of Bitcoin does signify something.
I wont be surprised if one day we would see some news that Facebook would be integrating bitcoin payments (hopefully).
Mark  did possibly invested already in bitcoin but who knows if this one is just a sign for recognition but still arent making any move.

Today, Mark has posted an image about 2 goats and he named it "Max" and "Bitcoin". What is the meaning of that? If we merge the both name, it will be "Max Bitcoin" or "Bitcoin max" which will lead us, Mark trying to say, Bitcoin will reach Max price soon.

What do you think? Any answer on poll will be appreciated.

Don't forget we are still having rumor about Alibaba on May 13th
There will be many possibilities of that image that we do not know and we can only speculate about what he means.
But I do not want to think much about that because I think I can be wrong in describing Mark's means.
So we can only wait for what he will say later and we can prepare for that because that can make us shock or even we can be panic to see what will happen later.
There is too much rumor about what will happen on the crypto market, especially when we see the bull run happen in the crypto market.

What is with all these tech giants sending cryptic messages over Twitter these days?

It is honestly feeling more and more like an orchestrated attempt to manipulate bitcoin prices for personal gain. Musk obviously has a significant personal stake in BTC through Tesla, and Zuckerberg could be the same.

They see musk so successful for hyping and gaining a lot of money from crypto si they follow him to gain from in their investment thats why we need to ride it if we want to buy the news since we will be left out if we will doubt, for sure more hypes will came as those tech giants are not done yet maybe they will do more hyping since provably they want to see bitcoin reach at $100,000.

Whether these messages posted are cryptic or outright statements of support for Bitcoin, it does not matter anymore. I think the mere mention of Bitcoin by these very famous persons such as Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg is enough to stir interest or at least curiosity among their followers or even fans. This is still marketing. And marketing coming from the likes of Mark Zuckerberg is almost considered straight recommendation by many people.

Yeah probably Musk must be a the core reason for making those big people to talk about bitcoin or cryptos in general. But, I am sure that these people are not in need of attention seeking as they are already having lots of fanbase and worshippers to dance for any of eyewink too.

Anyhow, all are happening for good, these people will seed an idea about cryptos which may lead to be investing with it over the time. In some sense, even they are doing for their own benefits, but actually they are working hard for the crypto community indirectly Wink. We must welcome them.

Sure, this media attention is great but if it doesn't translate into actual adoption of BTC and blockchain technology, it's not going to lead anywhere. Just a few companies holding a few hundred BTCs for speculative purposes isn't going to cut it.

@Theb. Agreed. This might be only the bitcoin news media trying to create hype for clicks and hits again. If we are being realists here, bitcoin’s pumps are beginning to weaken.

Everything Facebook will do that has plans coming from their assets/money will be disclosed in their SEC profile since they are a publicly listed company just like how Tesla have reported it on their page via their Annual Report but looking at their latest filing up to their Quarterly Report so far none of them mentioned anything about Bitcoin purchases nor any mention about any cryptocurrency so right now we are just speculating on Zuckerberg naming his pet "Bitcoin". This might just be one of those posts a influential do to see if it will have any kind of effect in the world which in fact it did as it already made the headlines including the mainstream meadia.

I clicked on the wrong answer Cheesy This certainly hints that Mark Zuckerberg is up to something regarding bitcoin. It just stokes the fire that's already burning in bitcoin due to deep pockets investing on the said cryptocurrency with tens of millions of dollars. At this point in time, it would be odd for Mark to not own any bitcoin or cryptocurrencies for that matter knowing that it has been moving a lot in recent times. Plus, they also have these plans of launching their own cryptocurrencies, so the involvement is already there.

Btw nice goats. They have it good compared to the rest of us  Cheesy

This makes it pretty clear Zuckerberg owns Bitcoin himself. The question is, when is facebook buying? Would love for Facebook to announce at their next quarterly financials that they've bought like a billion dollars of bitcoin! Smiley

I don't think he's that much intelligent to convey something cryptographically. Most probably he was too busy in buying whatsaspp and these goats when Winklevoss brothers invested in bitcoins. But I'm sure he might plan up here after to enter into bitcoin investments because he is not having any own intelligence but will copy what other people are doing.

Once he tried to create hype about having libra as stablecoin in crypto space but USA laws stopped him, it seemed. Now, he may try to be famous like how Elon Musk is doing. Expect more such stunts from Mark S*** oh sorry Mark Zuckerberg.

There is trouble abrewing
with the way his project to creat a centralized shitcoin through Facebook failed i wouldn't be surprisd if he has invested a lot in bitcoin and plans on adding bitcoin to his platform so that he is not left behind since other competitors have already done it like Paypal that is all in now.
we may soon see a new version of the good ol' FOMO but this time among billionaires instead of regular newbies Cheesy

I bet Mark Zuckerberg has already accumulated Bitcoin perhaps years ago. Mark Zuckerberg is an IT guy who knows the latest innovation the online world has to offer. It is impossible he never get to know Bitcoin. If an ordinary guy like us heard of it years ago, how much more to someone who is deeply immersed in the internet?

We also know that Zuckerberg wanted to create an online currency. He must have carefully studied it first and probably was inspired to a certain extent by Bitcoin.
