I'm crying right now literally, all my profit are gone now but I know this is just temporary. Hopefully, $30k is the bottom already so we can end this day at least on a good bounce. I'm expecting a correction but not like this, in just one day it almost burned out my portfolio and liquidated my positions already, too bad to those who bought at the peak price, just keep holding for now.

I guess you're fine my friend. As long as you're not selling anything at this current rate, you won't lose anything.
Just like what you say "it's temporary". Bitcoin won't be staying at the bottom forever. The market goes up and down. Nevertheless, this is a major retracement after a long bullish run since the late 4th quarter of 2020.
However, Btc seems to be bouncing back to $40,000 level everytime It falls near $30,000. That only means, there are still accumulation happening when majority has been dumping.
Honestly people who are freaking out are the ones who havent experienced on how this market works and they do thought that this is the end and having those impressions that
its all over when they do see their money is going negative without even realizing or thinking that this is just a normal stuff into this market on where
price could either go up or go down and its true that as long you dont sell out your coins then that wont really be considered to be lost since you can
still always have an option for you to hold until recovery would happen and make you break even but somehow the said time is unknown, so patience would be tested out.

One last hint from my side.
Try opening a bitcoin price chart and put it on log view (logarithmic), you'll be astonished by the fact that long term speaking the bitcoin rising trend is intact and going in line with previous waves. What does it mean for you? If you're here for the future then don't panic.
This is a very good advice, people most of the time only care about the price of bitcoin and nothing more and while I get that attitude that is also a dangerous thing to do, if we take a look at bitcoin in a logarithmic scale we are going to see that bitcoin is growing in a very discernible pattern to the point it could be even easy to more or less predict accurately the price that it is going to have at a certain point in time, so this is a good measure in order to avoid to feel panic and sell your coins at a bad time.

Bitcoin is always bitcoin, it's very unpredictable, now, in just a span of one day, who would have thought that we are going down below $30k.

As of this writing, the price is $33k.. and more dump to come.

Would you still hold or can you still hold guys?

Absolutely crazy how quickly the market narrative can change, isn't it?

This reminds me of Ben Graham's sage words and his advice about Mr. Market. Each day a delusional lunatic Mr. Market comes over and gives you a quote on  BTCs. You have the choice to either sell, buy, or do nothing.

Why in the world would you decline this offer at $50k apiece just to sell at $30k? I've seen quite a few people especially on reddit forums do precisely this, and it makes absolutely no sense to me. The regular price updates should be an advantage of the investor, not a detriment. Buy the dips.

I would buy and hold when it goes back lower than $30K again.
BTC has always been unpredictable everytime we thinks that it would reach a designated price it has it's way to surprise us with a price decrease.

It is very easy to hold for many people because they bought at a price so low that even the current price is very high and they are still getting profits, the only ones that are losing money are the ones that got in bitcoin this year and if we add their inexperience then it is going to be difficult for them to keep holding their coins, however even after the current crash I do not think the bull market is over, to me this is the whales toying with the price and getting cheap coins in the process.

No choice but to hodl because I believe that bitcoin will only grow more in the future and if that time comes, I want to have a lot of holded bitcoin for maximum profit. This is not the time to be silent, be loud and preach to buy more now that the prices are really low. Don't listen to the FUD because the people who spread those are either pretentious bitter assholes or wannabe smarty pants that thinks that they know more than anyone else.

Let them believe to whatever they are thinking with this business, don't allow them to influence your stand

and believes, the market will bounce back we don't know whne but it will happen. It's been proven by time

and those who quickly jumped into conclusions regrets their actions, keep yourself away from negativity

if you do beleive then let things happened and be rewarded after.

Only those who are dumber than weak hands will sell at a loss and will only push the bitcoin price down further, I personally will hold onto it firmly even though I am disappointed that my losses deepen.
and I would buy it if the bitcoin price was at the last dropping point and HODL.

I really LOVE these type of topics, like "ohh more dump to come!!" and all, then today suddenly bitcoin was already above 40k and it mat keep going up. Why do people always think that there is a big chance bitcoin will keep on falling after falling after falling. I mean its obvious that we are doing fine and its obvious that we are going to keep doing fine, that is just a fact because even after a fall the first thing bitcoin does is to recover and humiliated all the bear callers.

I am so happy that I bought a tiny bit during the fall, that made me feel a lot better, I bought some bnb as well and that turned out to be a great investment too. I am not saying bitcoin will never be low, we have seen it peak at 64k and right now it is like 38k or something so I understand that it did went down and it is doing not so great recently, but do not "expect" it to do bad, even if it does, expect it to do good because you will be right most of the time.

But in a matter of couple of hours it did recover back to 41,000.

I still hold it for a while and buying more bitcoin, although my money is not too big to buying bitcoin.
I can still hold it for more, even if the price is back to the lower price because I believe the bitcoin price will increase again.
I see the chance to buy back Bitcoin at $30k-$36k but I hope the price will increase next month.
Hopefully, the price will not go down below $30k in the rest of this month and if the price increases slowly, I can be patient to wait for more.

I've been holding since 2014 and do you think this small market turmoil can shake my real bitcoin confidence which has been built over these many years?
Holding means peace of mind if you time preference is the right one and you aren't here for a quick buck!

No silence: It is time to buy, recapitalize or start over, it will be a shame when we leave this current price.

The "joy" on mode down bitcoin was very fast, this weekend recovers and begins to be in the range of $40K- $45K.

Welp, I don't have a choice but to wait and hold lol. I don't even have a thought to sell it on 60k~ish, how much more now that its almost 50% down.
Same here and this is actually depending on someones investment decisions because we do have different goals. Some people would really accumulate whatever the price would be

and some are minding that much in shorter scale that's why when they do saw the market is falling or in decline then they are worrying that much and the worst they do even panic sell.

For those who entered the peak then we don't have any choice but to hold up our positions and better to accumulate more since its still cheap.

So true. I never predicted bitcoin. But I have been intending to buy bitcoin and will sell it within 5 years. Currently I have held bitcoin for more than 2 years. In the next 3 years I will sell it no matter what. It may seem strange, but this is the way I believe it.

I think the lowest was $30k.. so have you made a purchase guys? because if you do, you make easy money as bitcoin is already back at $40k now, and that is even in less than 24 hours, easy money for those who did not panic, but a bad move for the newbies who sold due to panic.

Expect that we will see more of these in the future, it's not new to us.

we need to hold no matter what because that's the good thing to do on this kind of situation.. Indeed bitcoin isn't dying wherein it just keep decreasing constantly because of panic selling,  so if we ride such way as well and assuming its a good decision, no its not honestly.. because for that reason bitcoin will end up to a very low price and we cannot regain all of our loses. Just imagine how it react after day or two because of panic selling..so we should stay calm despite of the situation.. It will recover soon let's just keep our fingers crossed..
