Really? An another clone of bitcoin? They should stop doing forks when they get bored. They are just using bitcoin's brand to get knowned but they will been forgotten after couple months. Why should people trust a clone of bitcoin? It's just an useless coin.

The first and foremost piece of information all bitcoin holders should know is that in the event of a hard fork that splits the blockchain, bitcoins you possess will be perfectly safe Lips sealed A blockchain split occurs during a hard fork which in turn branches the chain into two parts. If this happens, there is nothing a bitcoin holder has to do but wait and watch the fork unfold.

If it's a fork and has the longest chain then where the fuck they get coins to offer in ICO? I'm not going to spend even a buck on such a thing, this is

Just blatant scam attempt, one thing I'm sure about is that some rich scammer will pour money into this GPU to lure fools and inexperience newbies

Into believing that profit is being made. since when you offer coins in ICO and call it a decentralized coin? while they will never collect anything from

The vigilant and smart community members, this will die off in our memories sooner than you think.

I am against new forks, because they change nothing and become just useless altoin, but yeah, BCC made BTC holders a lot of money, so why not try to do it again and get some free money? lol

I think that the developers have more chances to win. They can always make the bitcoin community was able to provide the transactions. Then will be less conflict and bitcoin will be more predictable and more reliable.

This is madness.
While I was away, so much happened in the world of cryptocurrency.

This is what counts the bitcoins will be,  In November, the fourth?
It's all wrong. The true bitcoin was the one that was 2009 and which is now, and costs $ 4700.

The rest is garbage.
The time will come and the forks of bitcoin will disappear.

Is there any possible advantages of bitcoin gold? The normal bitcoin is sometiles equal to gold with the only disedvantage of big fee and everything works fine atm with all exchanges. Why someone will need another instrument of speculations?
There are several reason why another fork is going to happen but the most important is that we are in the middle of a battle the miners want a bigger control of the network and since the devs have not allowed that they are creating their own forks and see if they can mine their own alts with profit.

Clone website and barely any promotion, i'm sure BTG will become minority chain just like BCH. Furthermore, it's not clear who's the developer, poor road-map and ICO. I doubt this soon to be altcoin have price higher than $10.
But, looks like chain split is something that people like Roll Eyes

The good news from you is to make sure the clone site is almost nonexistent. But if we suspect one of the projects of similarity how we should differentiate.

It seems to me that we do not need to worry about this at all. Bitcoin is already too popular and therefore no coin can take its place. Now we see that BCC is a failure. So it will be with other clones

Bitcoin GPU, also known as Bitcoin GOLD and BGOLD with the symbol BTG, is planning to fork off the main chain and use an ICO to “help BTG chain the longest Bitcoin Blockchain.”
“Bitcoin GPU is a full node implementation of the Bitcoin protocol,” its website, which curiously features the Bitcoin Cash logo, states.
“GPU mining can protect Bitcoin Key value: Decentralize.”
The first Bitcoin fork, Bitcoin Cash, has become sufficiently widespread to warrant regulatory involvement from the US Securities and Exchanges Commission as Bitcoin holders received duplicates of their original BTC holdings.

Once forked from block number 478558, the assumption from commentators is that balances will double again, creating what trader Vortex refers to as “more free money.”

A new altcoin pretending to be bitcoin, nothing more than that. It has no vision behind it and it will lead nowhere. We still don't know how Bitcoin cash will go which is being mined by a few pools at least, and this has resulted in the falling down of the difficulty of Bitcoin and we are all happy about this as our mining operations are becoming more profitable. BTG has no future or has a limited future at best.

From my perspective the best post!

Thx! Smiley

The relevant new BTC fork is going to be the SegWitx2 hard fork in November.

This one looks like a pitiful attempt to exploit people's newfound knowledge of forks to make a lot of money from a shitty ICO.

Also, you clearly stole Bitcoin ABC's website.
This, Bitcoin cash was clearly an attempt to make some money but this attempt is even more obvious this is nothing but a money grab I do not think that if the split happens the coins is going to be worth more than a few cents, forget about this terrible idea.

If news is not a joke, it's sort of message to people behind Bcash. Don't push things too far.
Anyway Bcash supporters might get opponents to argue what alt is more like to bitcoin.

"first Bitcoin fork"?  Oh please. There have been many.

"en-crease" Huh

"Block 478558", so it already happened and will be live 16000 blocks after that?  We are at block 482670.

It will change the bitcoin POW?

Binaries but the link to source doesn't work?

Seems scammy and sketchy so far.

True, they are just riding the popularity of the current fork of Bitcoin, and I think  this is just an altcoin that is trying to get money to those who lack knowledge on Bitcoin true information.  Though I believe this had been the practive of different coins and some of them pulled the trick successfully so we can not blame the developer of this altcoin to do this kind of strategy again.  And I wish people are more knowledgeable now so that they can clearly see the deception here.

I read about this as well, and seems like someone just wanting to ride on the Bitcoin name and make BCH type of fork to get "free money" happen. I highly doubt that this will be anything even remotely near Bitcoin Cash, so there is no need to worry about this. It's the real forks we should be worried about.

Are there enough GPU's on earth to provide more hashing power that the existing and original Bitcoin has? I mean, it they want the longest chain, they have to compete with all existing Bitcoin miners (including ASICs). If they really want to help to decentralize BTC, they should join to BTC miners to get ASICs' market share smaller. Anyway, nice try, maybe next time Smiley
