Sometimes I have received same messages from spammers. Simply I just block them and skip. I don't believe this kind of offer about gambling. Even other expect gambling I will not believe them and I will never send any fund if I don't know them nicely. There many well reputed gambling website and we could play easily with crypto-currency. So I don't think it's very necessary to send fund other by telegram even there is too much greedy offer.

Thanks for sharing this mate though I have encountered something like this weeks ago but I didn’t take it seriously since I already knew it was scam, but bringing it up here is a big help for others specially those noob and greedy cryptonians that can be blinded by big offers of winning.

In our case lucky that we have already an idea of what this hackers intentions but others not so basically this must be spread to the community as well
This is no longer new at all. There are many multiple complains. What they do is to impersonate the admins and if anyone can actually fall victim f not careful because they n be so tricky with their ways.  Please bear in mind that not everyone that is being scammed is greedy. I think it’s important to correct that notion.
Exactly mate that’s why many groups in telegram now that has the rules about Admins not making PMs first so the members are aware that once there are PMs calming from anyone Is surely not from the admins

A good friend of mine was scammed some weeks back and according to him, it was really difficult to detect it was scam because it really looked very real. The simple ways aside not being greedy is to learn the tricks in detecting scammers account. There are so many of them around this period mainly because of the little rise in Bitcoin.
That’s the problem because everyone asking you to send money first that you don’t even know since then is sure a scam.so better not becoming greedy or else you will regret all your life
Of course this is not wise to send money to any site you even don’t know first of all you need to know the people who, you are gambling with then make research and also them how much they are going to invest for gambling, them put your amount, some scammers will show you green garden and when you invest money they even don’t contact you, so don’t trust anonymous websites.

Telegram is home for scammers, so talking about the guy who claimed he owns a gambling site and  blocked you is not new.  Well, the good thing is you didn't fall for his scam. Always use verified gambling sites.

Since finding out that telegram is scamfest and to many people are scamming newbies here I stopped using telegram regularly I only use it to check the bounty I've participated in from time to time and never answer any hello from strangers I just mind my own business.

The guy is so fast to delete our conversation in telegram and block me, I think he's been doing this for a long time and already victimized people.

He will introduce himself as the owner of a gambling site [forgot the name of the gambling site also) he will invite you to invest in his gambling site and make you a winner of their dice game, the catch is you will divide the pot and send him 50% of the winning pot.

Sounds interesting, I asked him that he send me Bitcoin so I can deposit and do what he says, he told me that many people have already scammed him doing that, but when I ask him how old is the site, he told me that the gambling site is old and trusted one urging me to deposit now, but I told him I would fall to this because the site has no traffic when checking on Alexa..

If I made a deposit I'm pretty sure he will block me.

The guy blocked me I wish I  made a screenshot I was waiting for him to prove that the site is legit.

So beware there are so many scammers lurking there and this is one of their methods.

I met on Telegram similar scammer. He introduced himself  like a casino workers and .I had the same proposition of wining big money on numbers what he will give me
That casino site was really poor i have blocked him after 10 min of conversation because he was really to much aggressive
Typical Telegram scammer
Good that you are mentioning people about that kind of fake activity on Telegram

When someone send PM to me that I don't expect, its usually something sketchy. I'd rather entertain and deal with someone whom I'm the one who initiate the conversation. Too good to be true offers are usually what it is. We have seen enough scam in crypto including the ones we thought legit today may not be legit the next day.   You gamble in the casino site and the scammers gamble to scam.
That's the right thing to do to avoid be svam, sometimes ago I was just doing my normal job online and ingot a message from a follower that, I should double up.my investment with then newest business in town and he forward me with the link but looking at the link and the investment profit, I doubt their sincerity, so I never fall for their scam, we should ensure to do research before going anything online.
Exactly. We should make a research first before falling to that site after making sure that it's legit. This is becoming rampant already not just online but also even in real casinos too.So we should avoid being a victim by being knowledgeable in most cases so that we can't be easily lured by anyone around the corner.

Don't click on the links given by telegram group who offers gambling links. You might fall into their trap and would steal your personal details on your computer of mobile phones. Gambling site only their escape goat, but in reality they're scammers who would snipe for victims using virtual world.

That would really be scary, though I don't have enough information that are considered necessary stored in my computer, I'm aware that when you click on something, they might steal your information, though technically speaking, I don't have any idea how they do it, I just heard and I follow the advise.

Scammers and thieves are getting smarter, if we are not aware, we might fall to this kind one day, so it's important to continue to educate ourselves on whatever field of interest we are at now.

For me, it's a good post and very useful to others. But if you are pro at gambling, it is easy for you to know which sites are the good one and very trusted because its kind of scam is an old fashion way to scam people. Also, be careful about this kind of message it's like phishing that if you are new to this kind of modus it easy for them to fool you.  Smiley

That's it. If we don't have knowledge about scamming activities, will easily put them into their bait, such a fool thing. Yes, we might say that this is an old fashion scamming events but somehow, they can still catch someone.
We don't have to put at risk into this scamming activities even it offers huge returns cause it in the end, we are the one who suffered loses and regrets.

Good way of thinking, next time when someone is trying to convince you to do something think about what they have to gain from it and what you have to lose

What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger
I wouldn't believe people are being scammed by such baits, butnI guess that if the scammers continue to do that, then they must be having at least some success.... which makes me sad about the level of stupidity our world has in 2019.

Don't waste your time to entertain those people they do their best to scam other people.  Block them once they message to you like that.
The reality until now many people are blind about this and still send money to them even they know that is scam.
But now that strategy is not new because many scammer do that and ignore everything about them.
Easy to say but not all people do have that kind of mindset. As a scammer point of view, you would really make things

which make it a worthy shot and hoping that there are fools that would take up the bait.Less chances but for sure there
are dumbs that would be hooked up.

I also encounter this one. Lol. I already know it was scammed but I just want to have a conversation since I was bored that time and maybe he is using many accounts to scam people so it doesn't matter to me whether his name and picture are him. So, I just ask him to lend me first because he was asking for $50 deposit and he can make it $500-$1000 a day. And I told him "wow that's pretty big earnings" and then I told him to lend me first and I will give him the $50 in return when I win the game(since he told me that he will going to pick me to become the jackpot winner) and in the end he gets mad and irritated.

Thank you for the info, telegram is so easily accessible and so easy for deleted accounts. Hidden conversations are also often by people to hide facts, hoping you're not caught in the trap of deception anymore.
There’s so many scam accounts on telegram making advertisements and also someone will ask for the money, and your personal details so take yourself away from the scam. Gambling scam they’ll promise you profit but its not true, don’t attract on that.
When they ask me questions that is confidential to me, I immediately delete our conversation and ignore that stupid scammer.

The only investors who are getting attracted to these too good to be true profits are the newbies who don't see the risks as long as they can get profit which is wrong. If the profit is too high then its a red flag already.

Message @Hhampuz if you are looking for a CM!
That's why I always ignore and report someone who is offering an investment to me by sending me a direct message first. If you are in crypto currency for a long time, it's not new for you since the actions of scammers will be easier for your to determine. Thus, in crypto I'm too allergic when someone whom I don't know talk to me about their business.
Indeed this incident is obviously a scam attempt, good thing op didnt bite the offer.

Its quite common nowadays to have such an offer which is too good to be true, and if you're not careful you might really end up as a victim of these scammers.

Its better not to entertain if someone approach you offering a huge earnings if you invest or something related, especially those who are asking for you to pay first.

it surely scammers won't succeed, we know already this kind of works and we are all aware that makes them fails.
OP did the best but how about the others? I'm afraid if they are caught by their offers. It possible those people who want to move their funds easily might fall into their trap.
