If the person know about money management, he will use that money to develop his skill, creating a business and invest the rest of the money. Most of people always complaint they're not have any privilege unlike other people who have rich parent, but the reality is they don't know what to do when they get a lot money. This is why poor people always become poor due to their poor mindset.

From what I heard, it is different when we have huge money that we didn't expect. $600k is not that big especially when officials and politicians will exploit the winner. The lack of financial education made that person helpless because his mindset would be too different.

There was a time in my life wherein I imagined myself winning more than $10 million in our local lottery. I even put it in Excel on my office's computer on how I will spend it. Charity, family, relatives, businesses, real estate, and cars. It somehow motivated me, yet when my crypto investments last 2017 grow big, I was kind of lost and didn't remember the previous learnings I had. The market fell big time in the next couple of years wherein I was forced to sell 99% of my holdings at the cheapest levels fearing that it may turn worse.

And because of that a gambler needs good financial knowledge and wisdom to be able to manage the money they get from their bets. Because when someone does not have financial knowledge and wisdom, they tend to use their money for something that is not important, such as buying property, vehicles, etc. Even though with that much money he can use it for investments which will be able to provide him with passive income and maybe multiply his money and make him richer.
Buying property is good. One of the things he can buy is property. I mean properties like land, house and some other ones. Investment is also good.

He won $600000. Why also not buy car? If it is me, I will buy car. Car of $5000 is enough for me and I will use the 90% for business.

I will give to people, but wisely and it would be from the profit of my investment. I will try my best but I can not satisfy human beings the way they want. I am not Santa Claus. The people that will like me will like me.

This is not an isolated case, in fact, many lottery winners suffer from overspending because they think that they have all the money in the world, they never audit, and they buy things that they dream of buying when they don't have money, they become generous to all people even to those they met after they won and they easily believe.

If they are not educated to handle their finances they will be in trouble, They don't want to make an audit all they know is they have to enjoy their money because it's a blessing for them and they should share this blessing with others.

I hope he can do those things and not just get blinded by partying and giving tips to others, which is mostly what happened to those lottery winners, who thought that their money was unlimited, which is why they kept giving money. I do really hope that he will manage their investments and properties well, as well as their dreams. I am also dreaming of winning it, but again, I rarely do the lottery.

It's better to invest the money that you have won in a lottery, instead of giving it away to friends and relatives. And as you have said, health is also very important so even if you have all the money in the world if you are not suffering, then you can't bring the money you have when you die.

So everything should be in the balance, yeah, help a few but then you should also focus on how you can maintain that money you have. Because if you used everything, then it matter of years, it will be gone and you will just regret that you should at least save some in the future.

But as they say, a kind person is often abused. Because of his kindness, many people came forward and borrowed money. Because he can't say no, he gives the help that is asked of him. And over the years these debts were not paid to him. This caused disappointment and regret in his heart. Although he has goodness in his heart and intentions that are good for others, And this caused him resentment and sadness towards those who did not keep their promises to him.

It’s not the debt that makes him poor again but he doesn’t plan to generat income and just use the money he won to sustain his daily expenses. I’m sure waste a lot of money on unnecessary things including the giveaway to his neighbor. This is the common behaviour of one day millionaire since they crave for attention and fine whule they already have the power to do that using his money.

The person in the story can start again by liquidating his assets that he first purchased using his money as you said that he bought a mansion and luxury car. He doesn’t need that anymore since he doesn’t have source of income to sustain that kind of life. He can use the money to start his old businesses again but this time he can make it much bigger since he already have capital. The apartment rent profit is not sufficient to bounce back again since that is just fixed income.

It's the same when people play gambling, for example betting to buy the lottery, surely he hasn't thought about how to use the big money wins from the lottery results, if he can be wise in gambling and betting he will definitely use his winning money wisely, the importance of learning early about business and build a business to monetize those wins.

Usually people who are good at managing their finances are also good at managing their gambling budgets and betting on the lottery, so they don't need to be taught of course they can manage their finances, if I win I will stop gambling and build a business looking for someone I can trust to hold the business which I will provide capital so that I can get income from the business rather than wasting money to buy things that are not needed and do not produce anything.

If there is one thing that a person who won a lottery, he should step away from the crowd. Because for sure there will be free loader, all your families and relatives will be at your doorsteps every day. And if you refuse to help, they will say that you are arrogant and because of money, you have change a lot.

On the other hand, if you give everyone, then what will be left of you? That's why it's better to just get out of that block and just disappear for good, just saying. Sometimes it is the curse of winning in lottery.

I've never gotten a big win from the lottery, only small wins I've ever gotten.

Maybe it's my fantasy that if I get a win from the lottery, then I will share some of the money with the people closest to me to family and friends and the rest is to add to the property and also buy what I want. Disappearing after a win for me is a terrible thing and to be able to enjoy it alone feels empty. No matter how much money you get from the lottery, the money is still running out, but family and friends are forever.

And when you walk away after getting a win then they know why you walked away. If later something happens to you that requires you to return to your previous residence, will they care about the bad incident that happened to you, I don't think so because you disappointed them earlier.

600k$ winning jackpot is too much for me, maybe until the 3rd generation of my family can live on that amount. The only thing I can say to the person who won the lottery is that he is still lucky because I saw that even though he lost a lot of money from what he won, he still took steps to recover his payments little by little through the last apartment he owned. , it's good that he thought about this, because if he didn't go back to being poor, and from what I saw in the story, his loved ones inspired him to persevere even more and rise again.

If I won big in the lottery, I would definitely stop playing the lottery, because winning big in the lottery is unlikely. $600k is enough to buy a few properties that can be rented out and live on that money for the rest of your life. I quit playing the lottery after a few years of buying lottery tickets to no avail, so hopefully I'll get lucky at poker or slots.  In fact, I'm genuinely glad that someone manages to turn their life around like that.

It's good that somehow the person who won the lotto had an apartment still has something left over to make way for him to get back on his feet. So sometimes being a good person to others should also be placed in the right place, because there are people who when they know you have money and you are a good person, they will take advantage of this opportunity to make a fool of you and get what they really want.
And this story is also a bit different compared to the ones I heard about who also won the lottery but also went to nothing and went back to being poor. It's not like this, the last asset he had that was an apartment was his last resource to get back up and not go back to being poor. Nice story😊

As a business man I really didn’t expect this from him. It’s a normal thing to buy house, cars and the rest stuffs but as for the case of loaning our money I really don’t support that idea. He must have had the opportunity to figure out how human behave since he worked in the public space ( his market space ) because it’s extremely difficult for people to pay you back your money when they have little to nothing to lose.

If the money was convert to my local currency it would have amounted to a huge sum, and if properly managed would have lasted a long time, so in its case lack of management, carelessness and generosity affected his account.

I may do what the guy did in the end.
Get a large property, build a 4-5 storey building, and make it a room for rent space. Another option is to buy small properties in provinces that are near their development, I actually already have my eyes on what place I want to buy it but I don't have the money.
It is true, money should be valued once you have it. Investment first. Helping others will be easy if there's money coming in first. It cannot be always just going out by overspending or loaning it to others when we all know it's hard to get it back from them. The question of "When?" is the problem.
Also, try to help your relatives first before other people, because family will always be there once you fell down again.

In short, he became a victim of people who were arrogant towards others. And in an instant, his luck gradually disappeared as if he had become a withered vegetable, at the beginning he was happy with his success and the large amount of money he won. But with the passage of time and expenses careless decisions resulted in the loss of his wealth. he had expensive expenses such as buying a mansion house, cars and other properties.

He also did not invest or plan properly for his future. Instead of having a proper management of his money he had fun and didn't think deeply. This slightly distressed story again shows importance and responsible handling of money. Winning the lottery is no reason to lose financial self-discipline and proper planning. It is important to have proper planning for the future to avoid. such situations.

This is the importance of planning and educating yourself on how to handle finances, if you're a businessman, an investor, or even a gambler, especially a lotto bettor, there are always unexpecting things that are going to happen, when suddenly we have a huge amount that comes unexpectedly we think of the things that we want more than the things that we need, and we never plan wisely, this is called indulgent.

Money won in a lottery should be divided wisely, there should be an amount specifically for a time deposit that you can withdraw at a specific time, the first two years are the dangerous years for those lottery winners because this is the time that either they lose it all to overspending or putting in a bad investment.

In life, we just have to be wise. It is good to be kind, but not good to be foolish. Some kindness are foolishness. You can easily know that some kindness are foolishness if you are doing something beneficial to people that the people can not do for you if they are in your shoe. I remember when I needed money, all my friends were unable to give me, even the ones that I know that has the money, they gave me nothing and that thought me a lesson.

If I know someone good to me come for money, I will do the little that I can do that will not affect me in any way, he should go to other people for the rest.

You will see some peope that won huge amount of money in gambling, but they will not want to be known publicly, this is just one of the reasons they avoid the public.

That's cool amount of money, but 600k is not something you can have and decide to start buying things that wont be appreciating in value in time, if I have 600k right now or I won it through gambling it will be use to speed up my retirement, I will use 80% of this money to buy Bitcoin and wait for new highs to sell them, I will be in millions of dollars if that happen, I am presently living the life I want to live and the only thing I have in mind is to keep growing nonstop.

If you make such money from gambling I don't expect you to go back to gambling, trying to make more money, you will only end up where you started before making the 600k, learn to always walk away when luck favours you.

This is not the first example when patience pays of in gambling. I remember we had topic here when some grandpa was buying each Friday (or each day) a several bucks lottery ticket and selecting same lottery numbers for tens years, and finally hit jackpot.

I believe that is not that hard to play lottery daily and use same numbers. The hardest thing is to resist temptation to select different numbers, for lottery company to live that long, and being able to find lottery tickets (in case a person moves on to other country).

P.S. I would won 600k$, I would also buy a new house and the rest of the money invested in some kind of business.

I've been saying this like a thousand times already: money isn't the real issue here; it's the folks who don't know how to handle it properly! Seriously, if people had a better grasp on managing their finances, things would be so much smoother.

I think the real problem from the start lies in the fact that a bunch of folks, who lack self-control and financial know-how, are the ones playing the lottery and buying most of the tickets. And let's face it, things take a wild turn when these same individuals end up winning big bucks they have no clue how to handle. It's a whole new ballgame then!
