The biggest problem with microearnings is that it's simply not worth to anyone, even the poorest people, to spend time looking for these jobs and competing for them. Captcha solving was popular because it was reliable, you could sit and work for hours and slowly earn money. Who wants to refresh a site every minute for some small chance to get a $0.01 task?

Those of course who badly needed the job even it takes their time while earning some cents. Those cents if patiently saved up will worth some bucks in due time. And, those microlancing job helps those people who also needed some side job or extra income.

However, we should gain extra patience as not all have that wide forbearance to sit and do some captchas all over again.

I know that everyone has their opinions, thoughts or reactions regarding this micro-job or freelancing sites that are blockchain-based. Although there’s nothing new when it comes to new cases, the positive side of it is the blockchain awareness and adoption. It will make job seekers and employers getting curious about blockchain, and they will begin learning more about it themselves.

Hey everyone,
I recently stumbled across a great way to earn a few extra satoshi with small tasks called Microlancer. I got an account here a few days ago and things have been going smoothly. The platform is based off of the lightning network, with people posting tasks for people to quickly complete and earn a bit of money. Don't expect anything too amazing, since a lot of tasks go for six or seven cents, but with how quickly they can be completed it's a good way to earn a bit of extra cash. This doesn't mean that it's all amazing though. It seems that posts of tasks are less frequent then one may expect, which can make it hard to find new work after most desirable tasks have already been completed. It's also not very easy to filter through tasks, although with there only being six pages at the moment it's not all that much of a hassle. With all of this said, I still recommend you give it a try. If not for making a few cents, then post a task and alleviate yourself of some form or another of menial task.

Anyways, hope everyone is having a good day.

In general, it is really very good when such platforms appear, because they help people to have a small profit. But as you correctly noted, there are also problems, all this is due to the fact that there are more people who want to earn money than those who order tasks to complete. I believe that solving this imbalance would make the microlancer direction more attractive and could positively influence the development of the entire industry. I believe that the use of blockchain and crypto in this direction should help solve this problem, at least I hope so.

I've been working with Tim - the founder and I must say that I believe in it.

We just have to find the optimal market so we're thinking of focusing on the markets that would best reflect the need that its niche would take care of.

One potential that I've seen is the need for AI workers, marketing for legit blockchain projects and the promotion of services related to bitcoin lightning.

We love to collaborate and meet with people who are aligned along those lines.

We're very excited and willing to adapt and learn from those with a similar goal!

can you show your success while on the site? for example, your proof of withdrawal or something like that. because I have visited several sites like this, in the end I had to make a deposit when making a withdrawal.

These platforms are good if you need even some money for bread. However they won’t help you to earn money for normal life. Even in this sphere you can find scammers that would give you work and won’t paid for it, so you’ll lose your time and your money. Anyway it’s better to try than to sit and to do nothing. By the way freelancer sites are better. There you need to do more work but salary is bigger. On freelancer.com I several times found students that where in urgent need of good articles and reports and earned 10-20 dollars at once.
Considering that it is a small-scale, I think that we can't expect this platform to replace full-time work. I do agree with you on this freelancer site, although I use a Facebook group to do find one but you are right most pay a decent money for a student like me.

I think something like this only makes sense if the whole process is covered by an open protocol that makes the platforms interchangeable. Even when taking the platform factor away, small scale freelancing easily makes too little money to make it worth the hassle it creates. When adding platforms that compete over the tasks they broker, this effect gets even worse. This could only possibly be alleviated by empowering the service providers and service providers to post and process their tasks globally, and with minimum administrative burden per task.

Maybe some federated solution like SMTP, XMPP, Diaspora or Mastodon could work to make this concept fly.

Centralized freelancer platform like fiverr and upwork are abusing freelancers for decades. They seize huge amount of money as there commission while your payment is also kept by them for days as part of security protocol but in reality they do business on your money. Blockchain backed platforms have the ability to eliminate this middlemen forever.

I checked it, and most of the time it is stuff that pays very little, one time jobs and worth more than what's being asked all at the same time. First of all it pays under 1 dollars most of the time, few pays a bit more like 2-3 dollars and that's not even good, because they are stuff like "create 10 telegram accounts with details" and pays only like 5 bucks, I am sorry but starting a telegram account requires a mobile phone number and 10 mobile phone numbers are not worth 5 dollars.

Plus, they are all one time thing, you can't make money consistently this way, you will end up not making anything decent at all and just here and there few bucks if you are lucky. On top of that there are so many jobs that require you to work harder than what's promised, who would write a code for 5 dollars, someone asked for it, and that's why this is a bad idea and not a profitable thing for freelancers.

Yeah, it is like a slave labor to the max, the only way that someone can earn from this is if the pay is decent but the sites that offer this have their hands tied and they have to make do with what is the amount of fund they have. To everyone that has doubts as to whether they should pursue this micro earning task, try developing a specific skill and offer your services in the Services board and earn more in bitcoin.
At least, that is good as start while they can search for the other freelancer website which can give them more opportunity to make money. I think that is the process that every people will do if they want to make money from the internet because there are no jobs that will offer you to make big money unless those jobs scam you in the end. If they can work hard to find other sources, they will find one or more websites that can be their sources to make money. The key is not to give up before we can get the one.

I think the word Microlancer has so many unofficial sites out there.
That's actually the website and it pays Lightning Network which suits for small tasks and small payments.

You should include the site for us to try and probably be giving reviews on. If you're a professional and probably got fired due to pandemic, I suggest you try this one. I tried it personally and its paid me off well.

Freelancer.com
That's a freelancing website and just like upwork, you can get clients there from the skill that you offer. It's a marketplace for people who are looking for clients and as well as clients and companies looking for their virtual employees but they don't pay in bitcoin. They'll be paying you in dollars so it suits for those jobless and looking to move into freelancing.

Freelancing is already a small thing, people do not make worlds with this, thankfully I have been making my living with it, even though my nation got horrible inflation and I have been spending maybe 2x to live compared to a year ago.

The same thing happened to Dollar-Fiat for our nation and that is why I earn more as well and can cover it for now, sometimes some extra things come up, like on September I had to get wisdom tooth surgery and that was my whole salary, it took me all the way to January to actually be done with that debt I created during September, so sometimes life is very hard for a freelancer since we do not make much, but also there is no chance we could make a lot neither, work is obvious, it's there, I can't suddenly earn millions of dollars with freelancing, no matter what happens I will either barely live or live comfortably but that's it.

To make it even smaller would be horrible business for people.

You are right and actually I support all these platforms but I don't understand why we need separate platforms for freelancing jobs when there already exist some established and well known freelancer websites where we can work and earn fiat, which we can then use for buying Bitcoins.
I think there are several reasons:
1. The fees are quite high.
2. It is difficult for new users to join and find opportunities since a lot of job owners probably have their favorites. Skill doesn't really matter if you don't find the opportunity.
3. You don't have to depend on a fiat payment processor since the payment can be transferred to your crypto wallet directly.
4. Convenience. You don't have to trade from fiat to crypto and save some money.
5. The current platform is too centralized, or simply doesn't offer a place for crypto enthusiasts to work on some things they're good at (different from person to person I guess).

Too many blockchain based freelancing websites are out there. They just don't really work or offer anything unique. My introduction to this forum was while fulfilling the requirements of a website called blocklancer that did an ICO back in 2017 and i bought a few dollars worth of their useless tokens.

The one you talk about seems to be using LN so it maybe worth a look.

There are already sections in this forum one can use and earn decent income by offering their services.

For example, you can visit the following:
Services: To offer anything you want like designing, coding, translating, etc skills.
Exchanges: if you are an exchanger and want to change coins/fiat and earn money, this is the right section.
Lending: Got extra coins to lend out and earn interest on them? Go for it! But be careful of potential scammers.

We don't need many platforms, instead we need a few but solid and well-established ones.

I have tried to get income from a job like this but on other freelance websites, what I get is very small even if I have been working on it for more than one month it hasn't met the minimum withdrawal so I chose to leave it. Maybe it would be better if you learn a skill that you can offer later on a freelance website and usually a job with certain skills earns better than just working on a microtask which might end up making you despair because it is difficult to even meet the minimum withdrawal even though have done a lot of tasks.

Looks like this is a honest review about any freelancing website around the Internet. I mean if it’s gonna take more than one month to achieve the minimum withdrawal amount then one could just drain themselves before earning handsome amounts. That’s bad news then.

The skills, well yeah it’s better to focus on some coding language or even some digital marketing stuff so that one could offer services in that field to earn extra bucks. Considering crypto currency market and nee projects coming out all the time one can assure more income from there.

So micro task is red signal I guess.

Freelancing websites typically exploit the freelancing industry, they will pay less money because they know that freelancers are going to gobble it up no matter what. I did try some of them but the same as @Strongkored, the earned amount is not equal to the effort that I have put into it.
