I used to block and report those telegram channels that sent me unsolicited chats in the past until I realized I was getting banned by telegram from private chatting anyone. Each time I got such chat I would reply them first by telling them their scam to their faces and then report and block them. I didn't know what went wrong. So, I stopped responding to them before blocking them. Now, I just block the hell out of them straight away without response to them.

Lol, exact same thing happened to me and I had no choice but to resort to instant block rather than responding first.

I use this bot called deezload on telegram to download music, days ago, there was this promotion as you can see in image below.

There's nothing free and good on Telegram especially if you are using something they own Telegram is the most popular chat application for groups but there are always attached risks using it especially if you're part of the Cryptocurrency niche.

One it's hard to distinguish a newly created account from a more established one because there's no profile history to look at, second there are so many impersonators its easy to clone one account and just an additional or changing a character on one username is already enough to imitate one account, and if you do not know how to configure your privacy you're likely going to receive a lot fo spam.

And always check the groups and the account you're interacting it's a good platform for legit projects but also a good platform for scammers to scam.

You joining telegram to download music is very off. I am sure 99% of the users use streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube to stream music.
Why did you think joining a telegram group or channel to download music is a great idea? Also, I am sure no one forced you to do this and you joined on your own.

and I wonder why those sites accepting them do so. Is it that they don't have any idea of the scam allegations on 1xbit or they are incapacitated taking them down once it's on their sites?

Money is the reason why they are accepting them; since they are already known to be scammers by most people, they will have to offer a higher pay amount than usual.

Yes, they won't bother, they won't also care about their customers wellbeing, and they won't also be held responsible for any losses. This is because there is always an ad's warning and a TOS that state that "This site or platform is not in any way associated with any advertisement shown or displayed within their surroundings" or something of that nature. I can't recall where I saw this. So if anyone comes after them for any form of scam report or accusation, they will likely use that to defend themselves.

This method is very classic, they will try to lead us to the channel in a simple way. The lure of big payments is still the most powerful weapon to attract greedy victims (want to get big payouts quickly without having to try). Always avoid this type of scam, especially when it comes to 1xBet which is heavily combatted on the forums.
They (the 1xBet team) never have good faith, they are like weasels in sheep's clothing. On this forum they always say they want to improve 1xBet reputation, while outside the forum they are like dogs looking for food who are always scamming other people out of money.

Each time I got such chat I would reply them first by telling them their scam to their faces and then report and block them. I didn't know what went wrong. Perhaps the channels I reported had influence on telegram and utilized their connections and got me restricted. So, I stopped responding to them before blocking them. Now, I just block the hell out of them straight away without response to them.

No need to wonder, most of their money scammed from victims are usually used for advertisement, they are among the most advertised betting platform online currently since they are already largely known for their scamming behavior, they don't just stop by advertising on wallets, huge sites with traffic and other, they also uses celebrities in advertising their business, if you are the type that watch clips online you will see most of our Africa celebrities promote them with their promo code in their videos
You didn't lie on the ubiquitous adverts going on by 1xbit at all. I've come across that on several online sites, especially crypto related ones. The company advertises heavily and I wonder why those sites accepting them do so. Is it that they don't have any idea of the scam allegations on 1xbit or they are incapacitated taking them down once it's on their sites?

Exactly. Scammers use psychological tactics to pressure individuals into making hasty decisions without proper judgement. An objective evaluation of the information is recommended. If it's really not related to anything at all or work related, ignore it, if necessary, just block the one with full memory, and that's what I did.
Generally you don't need to be a security expert or a technical expert to avoid common scams. Because if you are not greed, you reduce risk to be scammed. If you are careful with Internet surfing, you reduce risk to be scammed. Combination of them are enough to minimize your risk to be scammed a lot.

Knowledge about those advanced steps is helpful but not your first prevention against scams.

Pressure on you to make you uncertain, fearful, panic and greed is very common approach from scammers to get you in their traps. If someone press a pressure button on you and you can not verify that request, information, just don't do anything, you won't be scammed.

To correct something here, 1xbet is not a known scam here, I can't speak for everyone in their personal encounter with the but here its 1xbit that is notorious for scam, the fact that they took up the name 1xbit which is very alike with 1xbet is already a red flag.

TBH, I am still not certain about the relationship between  1xbit and 1xbet here in the forum. 1xbet seems to be genuine site unlike scam 1xbit. I could be wrong also. Why I seem to be confused is because I have seen many celebrities use their channels to promote and advertise 1xbet. Could it be that the celebrities are not aware of their scam activities if they really scam.

The connection between 1xbit and 1xbet, along with several other brands, goes beyond mere speculation and has been extensively documented. Multiple reliable sources and discussions in many gambling communities confirm that both platforms share the same parent company and are managed by the same owners. If you're interested in verifying this information, you can easily find supporting evidence with a simple search.

When it comes to celebrities promoting and advertising 1xbet, it doesn't automatically mean the company is legit. We've seen plenty of times where celebrity endorsements have been questioned or caused concerns. It is best to approach these endorsements with a critical eye. But let's not overlook the fact that gambling regulators from various jurisdictions have actually banned 1xbet. So, when it comes to forming an opinion, considering both celebrity endorsements and regulatory actions, I'd say the regulators provide a more solid foundation and hold more "serious street cred." Wink These regulators, operating worldwide, have imposed restrictions and bans on 1xbet due to reasons like non-compliance with regulations or unethical practices. This is likely the reason why they created the 1xbit brand, which operates without any license and separately from their main brand, so that they can avoid the scrutiny that comes with operating within established regulatory frameworks.

When you download files from a paradise for scammers like Telegram, you have big risk for malicious files, malwares which potentially infected your devices and steal sensitive information.

Settings > Advanced > Automatic media download. Turn off Files for In private chats, In groups, In channels.

Turn it off to reduce risk of automatic downloading files which are potentially hazardous.

Those payouts are fake, probably photoshopped, I would have said that some impersonators are using the online casino company to find their next victims but I wouldn't be surprised if this is actually from the 1xbit team themselves, we really can't tell the difference here because they are scammers themselves.

All those who are promoting 1xbit are rewarded with red trusts, they knew that the platform has no good reputation left due to many people they have successfully robbed off their money, yet they are paying promoter to promote their scam casino and some stupid beings on here are wearing their signature.

Either it's 1xbit or 1xbet I don't even want to know, there is no difference to me because every possible ways with these two are no doubt but scamming activities.

Seen, according to the referenced post, there seems to be address connections between 1xbit and 1xbet which is a solid evidence.

So, to summarize: they use the same software and the same game provider, matching third-party verification tags, matching deposit addresses and wallets, matching terms of use...

Could it be that the celebrities are not aware of their scam activities if they really scam.
Outside this forum you rarely hear talk of 1xBit being a scam and the link between them is not amplified, they pay review sites to whitewash their image.
AFAIK 1xBEt have not run a signature campaign here.

I have noticed that both involves in some kind of aggressive promotion and when money is involved, not all promoters are willing to investigate the genuineness of the platform they promote.
It's true they pay review sites for positive reviews, then there should still be honest review sites they shouldn't be easily bought. I read in this thread so review sites that blacklisted 1xbet.

I know 1xbit is notorious here and not 1xbet, so for confirmation I searched up and came across this post, evidences are posted there, read comments.

Also you thought you may have been smart by knowing the promotional was a scam but what of the other chances of you getting hacked by using that bot to download your music.

That's quite right, I indeed considered channel to be quite trustworthy.

This is pretty normal in Telegram, you can even subscribe on other's bot and advertise anything you want.

Common sense. That’s all you need. If they found a way to make you rich, do you think they’d spend time teaching you for free? Wouldn’t they maybe teach their friends and family and help them get rich & keep the strategy a secret?

I think the people who fall for these scams would fall for it even if the crypto group scams didn’t exist. You have to be naive to believe some stranger chose lucky you to make you free money. You know what they say, when a product is free.. you’re the product.

Takeaways:

— Channel creators don't care about you

— They will show huge payouts and praises in their channels to allure you

— That 48 number remained as it is even after I clicked it, a popular scamming technique to make you do something fast.

Scams are the same on every platform. Just use your some common sense and don't give your money to anyone who offers you "earning opportunity". Gambling, forex and crypto trading, pyramid schemes - this should be common knowledge that they should always be avoided. This is the stuff that kids should be learning at schools.

Looks like the one that has 76k subscribers are into affiliate and earns from the commission for the signs up that he produces to that casino. But regardless of that, I see the concern that goes mostly for many channels not just those one and these bots that there are too many scammers in Telegram and that's a fact. I think that if someone who's active in Telegram and uses and downloads usually a bot, I agree to Bitbender that we should be mindful when we download stuff there.

It is all business as usual, they wanted to bait people into signing under their referrals in hopes that they can catch whales gambler.
Yeah, this is what I am seeing on this but there's always the trick that these people does so that they can filter and get the most active referral that they get.

despite that, we wonder how and where 1xbit.com/1xbet.com gets new customers who fall for their scams. I'm not surprised that 1xbit.com is promoting their site through telegram channels and groups. After all, if they can buy and advertise on Mycelium wallet, what's stopping them from using the channel of those greedy creators who couldn't care less about what happens to their subscribers after they use the service that was promoted?

Although I have made an edit on my profile after LDL's case, so I no longer use telegram and as such I don't think I'll be ever experience this telegram channel in Op. Everyone who has heard the schemes of 1xbe(i)t.com should know what to do whenever they come across something like this.

I do think that people who fall for their devious schemes are the ones who are NOT registered in this forum and are from people who just receive random links from different social media platforms. I mean, almost everyone knows that 1xbit is a scam that is something that should be avoided at all cost. Despite all the notice and threads about it, still, lots of people fall and get scammed from them.

As a general rule, never ever accept random telegram invites. Any messages that advertise something reeks of red flags. Never accept any invite from someone you do not know and do not even click any links that they send if you do not want your security to be compromised.

Even though the matter is unrelated to 1Xbit or 1Xbet, both of which are known to be scammers on the forum, Telegram is a haven for scammers. Activities there must be treated seriously and cautiously to avoid being scammed by individuals or groups who masquerade as scammers but do not appear to be scammers. I don't trade on Telegram, I don't believe in deals there, they pose a lot of fraud, therefore I quickly identified the place as a scammer joint to avoid stories that hurt later when duped.

They are both apparently owned by the same company (1xCorp N.V.), with 1xBet being the parent brand and 1xBit the knock off. If they are related it is safe to assume that 1xBet is a scam as well which operates their scam activities through 1xBit

I was almost convinced that 1xbet is different from 1xbit but with the help of your post made me understand that 1xbet and 1xbit is related to each other.  Thanks for the information.

Private message in telegram if coming from unknown individual should be ignored.  They will more likely cause losses than profit.

Private premium channel shill, I thought why not give it a try. So we click and next moment I'm greeted with this personal message, shilling 1xbet which is notorious for being scammer here, and I was joined in" premium" channel where there were already 76k members, lol.

The owner of that bot/channel could be just a user of 1xbet trying to get referrals using his code/link, or it's probably a bought/rented channel to help shill the site.
