Yes, but when it is listed on Binance, it shows the quality and probably promising future. Because Binance is very strict about every new listing because they do not want to loose their credibility.

What part of Matic or Harmony screams promising future?

Both are complete shitcoins that only succeeded because they were hosted by Binance.

Had they attempted to raise money without Binance, they would have surely failed. The same goes for most launchpad projects, barring only BitTorrent perhaps.

Remember Fetch (Fetch.ai)—absolute trash.

Stay will away from launchpad projects for long-term gains, you'll get completely rekt.

It is kind of an immature question because we all know binance does not and will not list all projects, they have tough selection criteria and i like the fact that they are not greedy and listing multiple IEOs simultaneously, i like the way they have preferred quality over quantity, we have seen that binance launchpad only comes up with a new IEO after all aspects are clear and only one successful project gets the chance every 2-3 months which just indicates the seriousness of binance towards selecting a project.

I do not buy your idea, top exchanges or not tokens that wants to dump will definitely do if team are not careful. I have seen many IEOs that dumped on Binance including the last IEO which made my have a rethink about IEO. I never expected such do from beginning from binace. It really discouraged me actually.

And that is true. CZ actually mentioned that for projects. If they don't have the amount for the listing fee but if Binance sees the project is worthy to get into their exchange, they will list it for free.

And on the other hand, even if the project can avail the listing fee but they're crap, Binance might not list them and if it's already listed, they might remove them and the same as the other exchanges. Some exchanges are actually doing it, delisting coins/tokens that are no longer can stay with them.
It sounds like cz does a good thing for some random worthy project by listing it for free.
However, 1) we don't know what are those projects who allowed to list for free (and we don't know if there actually are those) 2) he still does it for the money more than for the sake of crypto adoption and progress
He's giving importance to those worthy projects because he's been with that situation that he's starting from zero but he got in at the perfect time of crypto market and projects were booming.

1) I think it's possible to ask him on his twitter account because he's active there. But if he didn't respond, the support are approachable and it's possible to ask this kind of question.

2) It's true because it's business, he can just take some commission or depends on his arrangement with any listed project for free.

Basically same answer, different path. All exchanges loves money, and that is literally why they decline some projects.

The money you make from listing a horrible currency or allowing a horrible project to your IEO means that you will make money short term but you are losing reputation, in exchange world reputation is your key, if you have high reputation that means you will have a lot of people trading, the more people trading the more money you will make from the fee.

That means these exchanges actually decline the short term profits for long term profits, and that is the whole deal, there is literally nothing that is about being decent or anything, they do not decline the listing because they want to offer decent coins to their customers, they wouldn't care if the coin is bad or not if customers didn't cared, the exchanges only care because they want to keep making a lot of profits.

A friend asked me what will happen if all IEO projects can use binance, meaning if they have the money, either legit or scam, here is your answer

Do not forget that even if all new projects have the money to list on binance they can be turned down if the project is not good enough, top exchanges have their asses to cover, reputations at stake here, binance among other top exchanges loves money, everyone does but that's not the end for all top exchanges, once they make a mistake of listing and hyping a scam project they are done for, remember that.

it's always about money and reputations, crypto space is so delicate, reputations get ruined fast if care is not taken

Binance is still on top in the market because some projects have made profit for investors, they have a very strict compliance and criterion, and investors have a perception that if a project is on Binance it is good enough, they are protecting their reputation, so no project can harm their reputation.

This is why the CEO of Binance says that all the coins listed on the stock exchange are free, but those who choose it mean that they do not really care about listing the money or anything that is used for registration.
because their reputation is good, of course, they will not throw a bad coin.

it's not that easy to get into binance because it has to go through many stages and if the project isn't good enough it won't be able to go there. Binance is not an exchange that is always concerned with money because reputation is more important to them
There is one thing but Im sure any project would not agree. Pay more, of course even Binance have a dirty hands. Probably they can accept any project to be list on their IEO as long as they can pay more than the listing fee or even the review stage of the projects. I dont want to name some of the projects but you fan feel on other projects that their platform worth like nothing, and I even confuse how the hell did they manage to get listed. Im not saying Binance technical people gone lower but its always about money.

that is why binance becomes the top exchange place, if only money, obviously they already have,
but trust whether it can be purchased ??
of course not, the most valuable trust for a top exchange reputation, which cannot be obtained only with money, but with hard work and real effort.

most people think that doing IEO on a popular market, a sign that it is a successful project. Well, it's generally like that, but in reality, it isn't. in fact, the price and level of popularity of a project depend on the work of the team. it's just that we always think that, binance has strict rules before making a list, and it might be expensive, so a project that lists there will actually develop their project to cover the costs they have incurred.

You can be right that binance helps projects with hypes, and that binance helps investors and traders by making sure that they bring only legit true projects to their platform.
But it is not always like that; every top exchange has that shit project that bought his way through to listing

And you need to take note, that either good or bad; either top exchange or  not, a bad project immense dump cannot be avoided; because when the hype is over and the products advertised is missing, demands drive drop and so the price and value of the token

Yes, you are right. Whether a coin lists on a top exchange or not, the price no matter how much it surges, it will still plummet. However, if a coin should list on top exchanges, even if there is impending damage awaiting it, it can still be averted and will be protected by the reputation of the exchange, if the team of such project is also ready to back it up with more listings.
Also, listing on top exchanges give the project more privilege of listing on other top exchanges, than going fro low to top. In fact. it will be easier.

its about money and reputation ? i dont think so . they cant have both if they already have the money  . for example binance like what you said is only being paid big so that they will allow ieo or other coins to be listed on them while they will not care about the people or to the investor  .

i think its bad but what can we do ?  we dont own the site and we are too small compare to them to complain  but best thing that we can do is to find another trusted exchange that will not work for money

From what I know, some big exchangers sometimes don't charge fees for projects that win community votes. In addition, large Exchangers don't just think about listing fees because I think they will prioritize transaction volume.

If all IEO can get lists on the top exchanges, no matter if the IEO scams or not, that will give many reviews from the members. And if somehow the exchange by coincidence listing many of scam IEO, their exchanges will have a bad name among the other exchanges, and I think their members will leave that places because they don't want to get scam. It is hard to manage reputation, and I think the top exchanges will selective to listing the IEO because they don't want to make a profit only, but they will also want to have a good reputation.

Not all projects are gonna get a chance to list on Binance and they are strict on choosing the projects. If all can be accomodated then there is no point the method Binance doing in screening all potential projects. I know that IEO are tends to give profits to all their participants but Im talking about only those listed on major exchanges. I think most low medium IEOs are not gonna keep up cause they just keep accepting even low quality projects.

It doesn't even need to speculate about that because some projects were launched on binance like WINK has already dumped a lot. It doesn't matter a lot how big the exchange site that being used to raised the funds. If the project is a crap project and that will always become a crap project. binance just gives a change to the hype

A agree. As long the the crap of the other projects is not a scam, then Binance wouldn't care about them since they've got what they wanted. The only main big thing they've got to watch out is scamming projects because that would really ruin their reputation because of how may people think that Binance may be associated with scammers.

But still, being listed/IEO in Binance is a huge boost in popularity in a project, it just depends on how the team manage it.
