Now if the OP wants to emphasize or summarize some of the answers or contributions he received on the thread, he could always edit the OP and add them there (quoted for example), whilst giving them the necessary context there.

This is a great point to the  whole problem I was in a deep thought about the values the suggestion can impact the forum I missed this. I appreciate every comment made here. Guess the thread would be locked now

The suggestion would really be counterproductive to the legibility of the thread, since moving OP’s responses within the thread to the beginning of it would, for the most, denaturalize the context of his posts within the thread.

Now if the OP wants to emphasize or summarize some of the answers or contributions he received on the thread, he could always edit the OP and add them there (quoted for example), whilst giving them the necessary context there.

The OP could be replying to a comment from another member on the forum whose reply would be farther down, and it would be skewed if the OPs reply appears at the top while the comment he is replying to remains under.

Pinning the OPs comment is useful on some social medias where additional information is provided below and mostly for publicity so the thread started could market some product or service, I don't think it'd be a good addition on bitcointalk.

If I got you correctly you're requesting the OP's reply on his or her topic be pinned to the top, right below the original post?

If that's it then I do not feel it's something we really have to do, when you consider that most thread starters do not even actually return back to their threads, while some do not even engage in the conversation that ensued/ensues afterwards.

Another reason why I do not feel it's a pressing need,is that despite the fact that one is an OP it doesn't necessarily mean he or she provides the most sensible reply, so just start a topic and let the conversation take its course.

Not your keys, not your coins!
It is so hard to catch what you suggested, honestly.
There is Topic tile style guide
And if you want to get notifications, there you go:
@mention notifications - now with telegram. However, I am not sure that is what you want. Firstly, you should edit the topic tittle, and reconstruct your ideas in OP.

When ever someone starts a new topic...

Whenever starts a new topic... just set a clear title so people don't need to read everything to understand and guess what is the purpose of the topic.

Just my 2 cents

When ever someone starts a new thread not with standing if the topic is about a question, idea, suggestions just name it. The individual is the principal person on that thread no matter the level or rank.
Yes the forum has giving regards to owner of post(OP) they have the option of self moderating there thread in some board and that a good thing I must commend.

But my suggestion is this since the OP is the principal person on his/her thread so far the thread is of quality(if not it would be trashed) the OP has a preference to their follow up reply on the same thread, that is to say any comments or reply the OP makes on that thread should have a position up or just right below the body of the topic.
This would make their reply very visible and easily accessible to the general users( especially on threads with high replies).
It could be in form of a link stating where the OP has replied on the thread. This could easily help In solving the OP question, accessing their ideas or just simply giving them a bit of an edge in term of regard on their own thread.

Your suggestion and idea are highly welcomed
