A directory/blog i think is what your saying, because people can post content like sponsored post.
But the problem is engagement, if you get enough people to post daily in your site. Well, a solution for that is you can hire SEO link builders or advertising. To promote your site to many people. If you're really serious in making such website.

If what you have in mind is a mere "site for people to post their projects," I'm sorry but there wouldn't be much interest in it most probably, unless your site is already popular and has the traffic that these crypto projects need. Otherwise, you might end up just like the rest of the unknown sites and exchanges offering, to the point of bugging and spamming, unheard of cryptocurrencies to apply for free listing.

Personally, I prefer to see a site where crypto products are posted for their features' objective reviews and discussions. There's so much to get from it than from a site which simply allows posting from crypto projects.

Contents are everywhere but you need to pull some extra bucks on your pocket to make it work out.
Agree, we can find dozen contents about project/service related to crypto and most of them only paid shills. They're not doing honest review from each project they listed.

You need to gather other people opinions to be more transparent and not only include your personal reviews.
Exactly.

It's what he need if he's too worried about the production of contents. Well, he can make it on his own and he should be diligent in choosing people publishing those contents.

This is the biggest part finding content. I've already collected quite a handful of sites to possibly add on the site. But IF after a while things may dry so I might have to ration content for a bit. Either way I think its worth exploring and I got some fun marketing ideas.

My main worry is not having a sufficient amount of content flowing in.

You will have to do a huge amount of research/work in order to gather a significant list of such projects and make your site/list become known and used by many.
Only after you reach that point (if it'll ever happen) the projects will start coming to you and ask to get listed. And even then you'll have to research a lot.

There's a big risk that you'll do big amount of work and still no success... it's up to you if you'd take the risk or not.

I'm sure the list you provided has a great list of products but the thing is the site idea is supposed to be a fun accessible site for people to see the bleeding edge of new projects within crypto, no matter how small or big it is. Think product hunt without the hunting so much.
To build up a good site, you need to make your decent effort and time as well, to make it as high quality. It is terrible if you build up a site that accept all projects in crypto when they are born and apply to be listed on your site. Scam projects are dominant in crypto space.

It is another reason I recommend people should not trust on ratings, reviews on any site

Talk about crypto or bitcoin forum, how many forum are there? Many. Which one is the greatest and the best? Bitcointalk.org. There are strict rules, there are exprienced moderators, admins and helpful community members to fight scam projects here. All of those factors make the forum great, over years.

Your idea is not new from what I've known. Ratimov spent his time and made the huge thread from which you can check and get overview on what people have done and what you can improve from their current sites, works, as well as know that whether your idea is new.

All sites with ratings or reviews are subjective and I only consider them as reference sources. Their ratings and reviews can be biased by many factors behind the scene. Use them, then do your own research, double check to make your final assessment on one project.

Yeah i've gotta be super vigilant about the projects. Backgrounds checks around the web will have to be done be done before being approved.

You might want to think of a criteria on how you're going to decide if you're going to add a certain project/service to your website first. Next thing you know, scammers will be spamming your email asking you to list their site.

I´m not sure if it would make sense in the long run
I guess he can make it. If the projects start to dry and there is no more content to cover, he can simply turn into the basics of covering other non-crypto related contents but I see far from happening if he has good resources.

I would participate in it, but the main problem is, many startups just want to get free promotion, and don´t care to much about interacting with other projects, even if it would be mutually beneficial. While I think such a site would be great, I´m not sure if it would make sense in the long run

I've been thinking about creating a site for people to post their projects within crypto. I don't mean shitcoins. For example, a new crypto wallet or dapp. Would anyone be interested in this? My main worry is not having a sufficient amount of content flowing in. Let me know what you think. Thanks!
