I saw a post of someone buying millions of it, but I don't think it could be a good investment.  Undecided

Does anyone know anything about Dogecoin and if it can be trusted? I believe it was lunched a few day back. Any input would be appreciated.  Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

I agree that most of these altcoins will end up being worthless or scams, but it is hard to resist the chance to get in on the next bitcoin (or better) at the ground floor!

You mean , it's hard to resist greed , isn't it?
Well , that's everything that drives the altcoins and that brings new altcoins to life.

Shall I trust the Lottocoin which is announced today?  Grin

It's Lotto, just play it, you'll see if you win. Smiley Btw, it was pretty hard to compile qt wallet from the source, there are some errors in Makefile. And when I finally compiled it it appeared that the difficulty was too high already, it'd be quite hard to do solo mining.

Litecoin is already traded in chinese exchanges like fxbtc.com
Don't expect anything big to happen if btcchina adds it.

Hi Guys,

what do you think about this..

The people who have more money (like hundred thousands or millions) have not much to loose (I mean they wouldn't loose everything). So, they can invest atleast in thousands.
Basically in this way they control the economy of crypto.
Why cant somebody make a currency or something which will alleviate the poverty from the world and give everybody a chance on this mother earth.
At the end, what is different. Here also the rich people control the coins (mostly).
what do u guys think?Huh

Freicoin has a different concept. Check it out.

They control their coins. You still control yours. The fact that they have more coins than you have nothing to do with control. Of course big holders can control the price but that's because the market cap is still relatively small.

What is the Doge coin acronym?

You mean what is its abbreviated name like BTC is for Bitcoin, or what is Doge an acronym of? If you mean the former I haven't seen one, but I think it might just be Doge haha.
