I think that there is many people believe that bitcoin will go up soon and many of us are trying to buy more bitcoin. and like what investor did, they are holding their bitcoin until they see the price is at the highest price so they can sell to make a profit. I think there will be more investor that will agree that bitcoin could increase more but they remain in silence and not telling other people. I think in this year, cryptocurrency world will be a destination for the investor to buy bitcoin as their investment.

Funny how these rich people still strive to be richer. Though it's a very risky gamble, it has some decent facts to back it up. And i don't believe he's putting everything on btc as well. People as rich as him know all too well that every gamble needs to have a back up in case something goes wrong

I mean who does not want to be richer? Assuming that the news is true and legit, this is definitely an opportunity that I do not want to be missing in investing. When big and famous investors enter the world of cryptocurrency, this increases the reputation in the media and slowly eliminates the stigma of bitcoin being a bubble soon to pop. Another thing, rich people tend to gamble more since they have the means of providing themselves capital.
I do not believe that he will invest everything on one (1) go and he needs to diversify his investments into different altcoins or other types of investments to reduce the risk of losing everything.

not just the best investors of many companies that believe in bitcoin investments and I also believe that bitcoin can go up soared and every year there will be investors and miners as they believe in the future that bitcoin will rise high

and every new investors is a very welcome news for us because it only proves that the popularity of bitcoin is now becoming more widespread.

Maybe Peter Thiel saw something that no other sees it. Maybe he already calculated when the cap will reach it's the highest mark and how much it is. In that case, It is the time he will sell his investment.

"A well known investor" whether one is well known or unknown, anywhere you put your hard earned resources, the expectation is that it will increase. You want to invest in shares, your expectation is that the value will increase. You want to put your money into real estate, your expectation is that it generates income and when you decides to sell, it must have increased. You also decide to set up a business or a website just like a mixer the expectation is that when you decides to exit the market, the value of such website must have increased to make a fortune.

I really don't understand why this is making news because he just said what is in the mind of everybody whether rich or poor and maybe because he is rich, that's why someone cares about what he says. Either way, its nothing special.

Well, this is a funny thing proves how rich people tries to be get richier than how rich they are right now. If that investor tried to put all his money, Well we will say that this is one of the big risk that i know. This situation must be planned. If you will take a big risk, make sure that no one will be affected except you if you lose in that thing. Maybe bitcoin will decrease its price but im sure that it will increase this year because of the demand and rate of it compared to the last few years.

News like this are always seems a bit clickbait for me. "put all his money" OK, it's possible that at that time he had only a little (or large) sum of money and he put it into bitcoin. No problem, can be, why not. The last part of the sentence shows that this investment is "one of the company's most valuable investments" means that the company has a lot of investments and this is one of the best now, but not the only....
So he haven't liquidated all his investment and put all the money into bitcoin but only the free cash, that's all. I like the media, you have to read twice and think more to realize what's the real meaning, what happens behind the scenes....

Indeed bitcoin price will go up after the first quarter of 2018. Yes the price of bitcoin as of now drops significantly but it does not mean bitcoin will die, it drops due to people need money for christmas and sell their bitcoins for the holidays. Expect bitcoin price to rise when people start buying bitcoins again and you will see how it will surge this year.
