HODL tight! As soon as off-chain scaling gets implemented and Bitcoin futures start trading on CME, big daddy is going to the moon! Cream always rises to the top. If you fold, too bad. Don't say you weren't warned.

Bigger and better things are stored for people who will have a strong faith on Bitcoin as it is not the time to jump the ship. It is the time to hold and people who bought Bitcoin at its latest dip are so lucky as we are now back into the action. Nobody can stop Bitcoin now...China failed to stop the avalanche how can we ever think that an offshoot coin will be the one to harassed Bitcoin?
Anyone who does not have faith right now is even going to end up making a lot of terrible mistakes at the end. The action will definitely never stop and the good thing is that it always gives those who miss previous chance some little more chance to quickly hop into the trading before we hit the next destination.

Bitcoin has experienced huge attack this year and still remains unshakeable and i totally agree with you that some offshoot coin Grin most definitely cannot pester bitcoin.

People have been promising off-chain scaling for years on end. It hasn't materialised, As for segwit - hardly anyone bothers to use it.

Scaling will happen - but it will happen in an alt. Alredy Ethereum does more transactions per day than bitcoin. And all the other alts are waiting in the wings, such as Monero, Bitcoincash, and others.
i am not sure the off-chain scaling is going to be the driving factor,
i think it is going to be Bitcoin futures start trading on CME and other traders from traditional fiat trading get more involved that will drive the price.
i have read here somewhere that people are actually thinking this will be a bad thing for these new traders and speculators to be getting involved?

from the upcoming month there will only be good news after good news for bitcoin.
soon more wallets will implement SegWit and with the most popular SPV wallet electrum releasing their SegWit wallet the number of transactions using the new key pairs will increase and with that the capacity of bitcoin and block sizes will grow. less unconfirmed transactions and lower fees at least for the short term can be expected.
CME is also starting their markets in mid December.
Lightning Network will be up and running soon after that.
all the forks will also be done and their effects gone, which means only rise is ahead.

Big daddy is obviously going to the moon if all that happens.
For anyone who is very smart, here is just the right time to invest into bitcoin and reap the huge benefits in the coming future. A lot of developments are going to happen at the long run and a lot will surprise a whole lot of people who still have doubts about bitcoin presently and those who are too scared to take the bull by the horn.

with the current fees, I am going to HODL even if I don't want to  Cheesy
But anyways, I don't know if your speculation is going to be right, I sill believe in btc and so I am going to hold for a little longer.
Honestly, the current fee is just too huge for someone to let go of their funds. I do not imagine myself paying a very huge fee.

Moreover, making use of freebitco.in wallet has really helped me in paying lower fees even at times like this by making use of the slower withdrawal method which has always been very effective for me and one of the reasons I won't stop using those guys. However, withdrawal or not, holding right now for a huge profit ahead is just the best.

Off-chain scalling gets implemented? Lightning networks? I don't see it anytime soon as you said, maybe you can mention core developers said about it "soon" will be implemented, as this scaling solution seems ridiculous. Why off-chain? Why not just make it work on-chain, implement directly to bitcoin nodes?
However, I can understand how CAME could affect bitcoin price in the end of the year.

Yeah definitely if you are an investor in bitcoin now is the right time to buy bitcoin while many are shifting gears toward bitcoin cash but still you could not hide the fact that bitcoin is still not far from behind it meaning at a few or more days later bitcoin price will increase yet again and if you are buying and sold it during that time, then you can get a good maximization on your investments.

Yesterday I was hodling on tight, and today its already rebounding, this dip was really not a big deal at all. Never get this panicselling anyway. Just hold on, history proves that Bitcoin always dips, and then surges was higher. So why shall one panic at all? Rely on history rather than some feelings!

Hold On for Dear Life.

Nice Jimbo these are the words exactly I want to hear from anyone here just to make my night.

Long term hodlers just laugh at all the people here panicking.

Grin very true, I didn't buy the dropped of bitcoin and this happened before so when the crash happened I'm very comfortable that it will be fine and get back so I did nothing but hold.

I like to tell people: if you don't know what to do, hold, because Bitcoin should be a long term investment. Having said that, I think you might be totally wrong here, and after seeing where this bounce goes, I may need to hedge my coins.

Cash-settled futures markets are intended to reduce volatility. In fact, CME Group chairman emeritus Leo Melamed said recently, "We'll Tame Bitcoin."

Now, I don't think they can necessarily do that in the long run. But if you think they are here to pump the BTC price, I think you might be in for some surprises. Many believe that Bitcoin ETF prices will follow the futures markets. I'm still of the opinion that governments will attack Bitcoin in various ways in the future, and I think that manipulating these markets is one of the ways that they'll do it.

It will be a long path because the CME is going to put bitcoin on the Futures table in more than a year from now, there were some speculations about those people who said that they were going to start trading those futures in less than six months from now, but we all know that it is impossible because there is no way that they could just add bitcoin in less than a year, it has no logic at all.
But yes, once that it is listed, it will be a boom, i am sure that bitcoin will skyrocket a lot, but there is more than a year left until we can see that!

A few weeks ago LedgerX was going to transform everything under the sun. Have you heard a squeak since it was launched? Me neither. Same for CME.

18 months is a large amount of time to wait for any type of improvement in scaling. I hope it arrives an awful lot sooner and many more people start making use of Segwit in the meantime.

Long term hodlers just laugh at all the people here panicking. It has been happening since way back that people lose faith at the time the market is going down, so nothing new to see here.

I am hodling for a reason, and have been doing so through various market crashes and such, and that without getting distracted. Don't forget that we at current levels are still up more than 500% this year!

The problem however is that people mostly buy their coins at near top market levels. If the price goes down from there, which is most often very likely, these people get upset and lose their believe in Bitcoin, while it's their own fault.

CME futures date is still yet to be known.

Seems like Chicago Stock Exchange has to fill few regulated documents in order to be able to list the coin.

I do believe that it is going to positively affect the bitcoin price but no one can tell, there are so many events to be happened before CME futures go live.
As HODLERS we don't care about future events, all we care is to hodl our bitcoin as long as possible, as it is going to become mainstream soon.
