After thinking about this, I don't think A1 should have the scammers tag if he did pay the rest back. I'm sure something will work out.
It's policy that we have to deal with at this point. Even if you pay the 4.5 BTC off entirely for him for free, we can't remove the tag. You can come to some settlement that's lower than that to remove the tag, but it must still be reasonable. That's why I want you to go through Raize, since he has the ability to bundle this in with the previous agreement.

I think the correct spelling is actually "sveetsnelda", who has an account on this forum.
Thanks to this, we were able to find the last user that was owed bitcoins. We are currently in the process of dispersing those bitcoins. Goat, contact Raize if you still want to help. I don't know yet if Raize will cover this or not.

I can cover it but I thought A1 wanted to pay it back? What happened?
This is separate from what A1 already paid.

Okay I will cover it as long as A1 keeps the scammers tag. Send me the amount of BTC to pay and an address. Thanks.
You're confused. I'm just letting you know that you should contact Raize and find out if he will cover it or not.

A1 will, of course, keep the scammer tag until this last issue is resolved.

As far as I am aware, there are no other outstanding claims.

I have not heard from A1B user 'Sweetsnelda'.
All other miner's were paid.
Even though there were others willing to help, no one else was needed.

Anything remaining I did keep, as allowed by Raize.

Thanks again to all involved for the help in aiding the miners, resolving the issue, and the like.

I have posted links pointing all relevant threads here. If ANYONE has any outstanding claims against A1BITCOINPOOL, please make them known immediately to assist the moderators/admins. I'm interested in wrapping this all up. Thanks!

So Raize had the only claim against A1BITCOINPOOL? (I've forgotten the details of this case.)
Yeah, he bought everyone else out. At 100% of how much they were owed, no less.

PLEASE NOTE:
A1BITCOINPOOL has officially paid me back to the tune of 35 BTC. I did not ask for the full 37 BTC because I consider it advertisement expenses for P2Pool. A1BITCOIN was actually more eager to pay off the debt than I thought he would be, he contacted me almost immediately but my lack of sufficient response and a vacation seem to have caused a delay in clearing his name.

I've asked Maged to see what he and the mods can do to remove the scammer tag and I ask that anyone affected by this situation please accept that I consider this situation closed and over with and wish A1 the best on getting back on his feet. I thank him profusely for not only showing he's a man of his word, but proving that Bitcoin has one less "scammer" than we thought.

No, please give them another couple weeks and then you can take it as compensation for the responsibility I put on you to figure it all out. Much appreciated!

Also, thanks to Goat and the others for their offers and thanks to Maged for monitoring this for us. I'm still hoping A1 and I can come to some sort of arrangement whereby he can get credit for the compensation, I'll keep you guys posted!

+1

Thanks all.

Legolouman,
Do you have any final stats then on how much we actually ended up paying for this? I have had A1BITCOINPOOL contact me and I have given him a number lower than what I ended up spending to "clear his name" of sorts, I just want to make sure that I give an appropriate percentage of this to Goat when/if it comes in. Thanks!

From the math I just did, exactly 34.9468954 of the 37 BTC you sent me was sent. One person, whom I have not been able to contact, is still owed 4.5 BTC. While Goat, and a few others did volunteer to help, I have not asked them to send money, as I have not heard from Sweetsnelda. I want to thank you again for helping us out.

tl;dr:
34.9468954 of the 37 BTC you sent has been payed out.
There is still 4.5 BTC owed, but I have not heard from that individual.

Did you want the remaining ~2BTC back?

No, no, Goat, it was on a1bitcoinpool.com. I sent to you my conversations about previous pool, because this is only "sort of evidence of contact with him" that I have.
Previous pool was PPS only, and was well-payed. 18 of Jan, a1-guy sent me invite on a1bitcoinpool.com, where I mined 100k  shares on prop and out.

Okay, I'll pay you soon!
thank you

For the record, I personally remember you being there mining with us. I don't remember the amount, but 10000 doesn't sound too far off. Payment will be sent today when I get home.

Sorry for the delay!

Thanks.

Prop or PPS? I'll see what I can do.
prop, it was before PPS was invented on a1, I mined 100k shares (it was in Jan) and than went into another pool.
