I wish there was a way to pay via credit card/PayPal. Just had a water leak right when I was going to buy 1 and had to spend it on fixing it. Ugh
You can buy with a credit card through Aliexpress.. This is how I bought my units.. The seller I used is

I have set mine at 815 per note from Chloe.
However, im seeing some of the blades dropping off the miner a couple of times per day.
Not sure if this is due to the 815 setting or some other issue.
I may try and drop it to 800 as some other users have recommended.

I never got any feedback on the so-called "Low Power" mode. Is this nothing more than reducing the voltage down further than 800? Do you also have to adjust downward from the "1200" setting as well?
What are some reasonable values to try?
I ask because for 3-hours a day I have a time-of-use plan where the rate is significantly higher, and I would like to go into the "Low Power" mode during those 3 hours.
Im hoping to get the root login so I can script something to run automatically on the miner itself to change the settings.

It's not just you, I had a blade drop off my miner this morning. The only thing I can think is that I quickly stopped and then started it back up while switching a setting this morning that may have contributed to it.

I'm currently running mine with 800mv @ 1000mhz.

What pool are you mining in? I know Prohashing has major problems with cards dropping off.. I had to swicth to litcoinpool.org and have had no problems yet.. My settings are 1200Mhz and 800mv. I believe these are the stock setting.

Innosilicon ASIC official representative
Fraud Alert:
This is to announce that Innosilicon do NOT have a reseller called “Yang Rongdai”.
https://www.asicminermarket.com/
Skype:yangrongdai
Facebook: Simon Yang

Any sales info from him is a fraud.

Recently we have found faked reseller claiming to sell A4 product online.  Please note that the only authorized reseller is Innosilicon itself.

If you want any sales info verified, you can go to our website. Without that correct Innosilicon email address, you take your own risk.

We do NOT have any so-called reseller globally.
Do NOT send money other than Innosilicon account.

Na, First thing I did before even powering on was to make an IMG copy of the stick.
Ill take a peak and see if I can get to the files that way, but would prefer to get root login so I can add some other jobs to the system for monitoring and reporting anyhow.

Im wondering if they have documented the "low power" mode yet. They spoke of it in the video, to achieve the 1.5MH/W (or something similar). I would like to code in to the system a restart with power-level change for my 3pm-6pm window where my power rates are higher (Time of Use plan). I would go into "low-power" mode during the 3pm-6pm window. Don't know how to do that yet.
Hopefully something as simple as a "STOP, change voltage, START" sequence... Should be able to automate it.

I guess you tried pi/innosilicon for ssh access when you own A2s, right?

Otherwise it is easy if you have access to a linux pc, I did this when I received my first A2 as I didn't know about the pi/innosilicon user.

Sadly, pi/innosilicon for ssh access doesn't work for me

I dont know why they say its Default 900 mine says that also. But you need to change it to 1200 and I use 800mv.

Just found this on an inno video and switched mine to 800, still leaving mine at 900mhz for now.

Yes, I got it working. I used 815mv per Chloe.
I would like to ssh into the box and modify the php or whatever code they have to fix a few issues:
1) All the pools are called "POOL 1#"
2) Clean up some of the English so id doesn't rub me the wrong way.
3) Pre-code the 815mv setting so I don't have to enter it every time it boots.
4) Add a "switch pool" button and possibly a pool #4.

However, don't know the ssh login.
I had it on the A2, and was able to update the web page to include more pools, and change the switch logic to allow me to go between any pools I had defined easily. Would like to do similar mods to the A4 code.
I will have to try 815mv the highest I have tried is 810 but did not seem to make any diff with 800mv...

I did notice the miner will pull more power from the wall set at 810mv I jumped from 1070 watts@800mv to 1090 watts 810mv at the wall.

Yes this software is very buggy.. It would be great if someone with the skills could work with it..
Would it help if you just had the image of the software? If so let me know I have a back up of it

The first time I loaded up the miner page tonight, the default value in the voltage box was 815mv so that's what I've been using.

OMG this software sucks...

The "default" setting for my speed though is 900mhz -- anyone else seeing this?
Yep software is crap.. Mine did not have a value in the mv box and I could not figure out why the miner was not starting! Someome said the factory setting is 800mv. If you get a magnifier glass and look at instructions you can barley see it! The higher that voltage the more power you will pull from the wall.. We need someone to re-write the software. We need DHCP among other things.. Miner is unstable as hell

Was your default speed 900mhz? Mine is hashing around 202-205mh with that setting... I see screenshots showing 1200mhz as the default

This is really disappointing to hear, tried messing with the settings on prohash to change the restart delays?

My A4 gets delivered today, hope I can make it work.
[/quote]There is a forum over at prohash where they are working on getting it stable. Some settings suggestions. I just got another unit today also

Anyone have the ssh login for the pi?
I would like to start patching the code asap.
yes this software sucks... I will contact my seller who is in china long shot but maybe he can lead me to someone.. This software I think was not made by insilocin it was prob made by china.

The miner does not run well at all on coin switching pools like prohash.. It is not submitting shares properly.. Anyone have any luck on optimum settings? And what pool are you using?

I heard from gen tarkin that the code is not open source? Or does that not matter worth a damn if you are just improving
and not making money on it? Always been confused on how that all hung together.

I dont know if this seller in China knows but he got back to me and said there is no password that all the information is on the SD card.
He also said there will be updated software in the future but no time frame.

Is anyone powering their A4 with a HP-1200W server PSU with breakout board? Wasn't sure if 1200W would be sufficient or burnout.
