He had a lot of talent in sports, but I suspect that his IQ level was abysmally low. That is true with most of the NFL/NBA players. They are very athletic and powerful, and they make a lot of money every year. But these people don't have the intelligence to spend their money wisely. After a few years, they end up broke and will probably die from drug overdose or violence.

That's true, but there's an immense impact by that. We couldn't fully understand because we are not in his position but definitely a bad thing that he did. It could be a fuel to be a good person or fuel just to implicate more fire, he picked the latter.

The Aaron Hernandez story can teach us a few things. You can have everything in the world, the cars, millions of dollars, fame, the women, a family and still not be happy. Aaron had a few demons in his life that he couldn't get over and now at the young age of 27 he was found dead hanging in his prison cell after allegedly committing suicide. He went from catching touchdown passes in the Super Bowl at the age of 23 to hanging in a jail cell alone. This is why we must always continue to seek God to steer us away from bad decisions. Eventually your decisions catch up to you if you don't decide to change. We all have our demons but you can't keep playing with fire and expect to not get burned. Make the right decisions...

That's shocking. Never expected something like this. Anyway, now the justice is served. Had the courts handed him a death sentence, then he would have wasted 20-25 years on appeals. This was quick.

Well, anyway there's now new news in which Aaron Hernandez hung himself in his cell a couple day after all of this, who knows if it was from guilt or if he didn't want to spend his life in prison due to him already having a life sentence on the other murder which he committed.

Horrible to see, as people do want him to rot in a cell but I guess he won't be able to harm anyone else as he's dead now.

Fuck Aaron Hernandez.

The ultimate irony is that the reason he was in jail for life is because he killed a guy that he thought was talking to a third party (in a bar) about the two people he was just acquitted of killing!

That is the ultimate irony. Unbelievable...and tragic.

I don't know the guy but just saw a feed from CNN. Yup, he's dead. Hanged himself using blankets. Not the most romantic suicide around.

I can't believe how many times he's been charged with murder and manage to be acquitted. Ugh, probably because he was able to afford really good lawyers. But it's all over now. For the families of the victim, who probably believe he's guilty, this would provide some sort of relief.

I was also found that baffling until I read he'll be staying in jail for a different case anyway. I believe it was another murder charge or about illegal firearms. Took the easy way out.

Well, it may not matter much as far as Hernandez himself. But for the families of the victims there won't be any closure. Unless they believe Hernandez actually is guilty. Then they will at least be comforted in knowing he's in jail for life.

Yeah, this is a good point. I actually didn't know that when I first posted this thread.

Hernandez is a fucking idiot though. Guy has the world by the balls, playing football, making loads of cash, wouldn't have to work much the rest of his life if was a tad conservative with the spending and he blows it all by killing guys over petty arguments....seriously petty arguments. The foreigners he shot (and got acquitted of the murder) just spilled a drink on him! Shit, a guy with this kind of temper deserves to have had it all and then get every piece of it taken away.

I hope he doesn't live like a king in Prison.

What if he makes an appeal and the sentence is overturned? He is quite rich and powerful, and is capable of influencing a lot of powerful people. Just hoping that he will not be able to get out of prison anytime in the near future....

This seems like a wonderful time to go ahead and apply the death penalty. In all of this I'm wildly confused as to how he thought he was going to get away with all of this without an issue in the least, did he think he was simply above the law because he was a good football player? Gosh, this dude was left and right killing people and got what was coming to him.

They should bring back the firing squad and let the victims families just murder this guy, the lord knows he deserves to be dead and to rot in hell for everything that he's done on this earth.
