we all know here that BPC is for very long term !

i totally agree that 99% of coins are just pumped and dumped then die...

Community will grow up , @bitpop i know you have time and you don't care about the price, but we still need a DEV !!!

I am mining BPC at 100% i have about 600 K ( +250K on my crashed HDD ) now , i think i am consequent bag holder.
i Will give 100K if a dev join the train .

Can you add to the OP ?

also 15K for a blockeplorer+richest list.

I made this coin more for the community. BPC will never die. I'm glad the price doesn't explode, that would just be a pump and dump. There will be organic growth for the right reasons. BPC has to mature and get years under its belt.

That's reasonable.  But 'organic' and 'right' is pretty vague.  Good to know you are at least thinking of some sort of growth or efficacy of the coin.

My theory is that we as a community will find the right fit or use for BPC. We have plenty of time and no where to go but up. My belief is that someone will show up and open our eyes to our destination.

Being pumped and dumped or dumped via multipools would be catastrophic until we are ready.
Dev, If you are a poor wretch, why do you want to develop a coin, waste miner hash.

I am on Windows 7, have an encrypted and unlocked wallet.  Staking works perfectly fine for me, never had an issue with it.......looking at the transactions I am getting between 15-20 coins a day from staking.

It is a shame more talented people have not grabbed onto this coin by now, hope no offense to the OP.....but having a legendary member behind the coin is not gonna be enough to make it succeed.

Mine stakes fine on windows too. Can you really stake with a locked wallet? The mining requires private signatures no?

Wallet is encrypted and unlocked (has to be for staking). But on windows wallet is not staking with encrypted and unlocked wallet

Is this more of a hobby coin or is it going somewhere in a business sense?

for the moment BPC is going nowhere....
no one get involved in this project, the small community here wrote lots of ideas but nothing came up , this is strange to see a coin like that launched without any business sense  and road map.

may be it's time to build a real team

@BitPop
I think windows wallet needs to be recompiled, win wallet is not staking.

Try it with a wallet that is not encrypted. Wink

Why should I if it runs well on my linux? Except that I would not like to switch to windows.

I just tried windows wallet to see if it's staking, because someone mentioned that windows wallet does not stake and it's true. You can't expect from anyone to leave it's wallet unencrypted, in my eyes it's naive if you do not encrypt your wallet. As windows wallet can't stake with encrypted wallet and linux does (remember, same sources), then it could be an compilation error. I could look into the issue, but to be honest I really do not have much time and do not know when to get time for this.
