People these days don't like the long and hard ways to earn money and get rich, all they want are quick ways to make money without even having to work or at least work hard. And after the rise of cryptocurrencies, people started thinking that it is the way to earn money quickly with only a little investment, and almost no work at all.

Everyone will learn the hard way, that it is not really what they think it is. If earning money was this easy, everyone would have been rich by now. So it is better if people learn it before losing money and only invest in cryptocurrencies that are trusted and old.

That is unfortunately true. There are so many people I know who had so much money (not millions) that ended up being basically nothing when the time came for it to be unlocked. This happened during the 2021 defi hype period, they were basically rich for a few days before all came down crashing down on their portfolio.

It is sad to see someone get that much hyped about being rich, and then get upset that they do not have as much as even what they invested, which is why it was such a sad situation to be in. I hope that the same mistakes won't be repeated again this time around again, because we will see similar stuff and I hope people won't fall for that.

Scammers have been doing something similar way before this market existed, there were many Ponzi schemes in which you were supposed to leave your money untouched for years while you received huge paper profits, and when it finally came the day in which you could withdraw your money the scammers simply ran away with it, this is the same concept, the scammers just added a few steps to the whole thing and investors simply forgot about this old scam and found out too late they were never rich to begin with.
