ohk it's strange my country is in the orange zone, I though we are in red. anyway no matter what chart shows us the main thing is doing something for it. and the best thing you can do is change yourself.
That's where it should start.

There will be a small change but if everybody will have that kind of attitude and vision, corruption can be lessen.

We should bring integrity into everything we are doing and we should pray that we impact each other positively instead of cheating one another.
We're on that spirit but sad to say that there are people that doesn't want change and unwilling.

That is the truth.  If we really want to have changed in the society then we most change ourself. We should bring integrity into everything we are doing and we should pray that we impact each other positively instead of cheating one another.

You are missing Maduro in the darkest red (most corrupt) sample of your map...

PS: I hate this bs Mercator map projection, Brazil is actually larger than Greenland, when will people ever learn not to use it...

As a general picture, it is clear that we live in a corrupted world.
Red areas are outnumbering the yellow ones.
I expected to see more red spots in Africa region, because I have heard from people that they live there that they are living under corrupted governments that do not care about their citizens.

Very interesting map, corruption is a worldwide problem that allows some of us to profit from it while others dont.
The question would now be if corruption is doing some serious damage to the world or if it helps overall.
Great post!

Transparency International is wellknown for their work against corruption. Basically they do research to findout which countries are mostly corrupted. Personally in my opinion if corruption enter on a countries people blood then its realtively harder to get rid off this. You can compare it with unpreventable disease.

Basically every corrupted countries are very much keen resolve this issue but the question is, how many of them are able to discover a cure for that?

Corruption is what is killing nations. Government officials are corrupt, almost 2/3 of the citizens are corrupt and everyone thinks that is the order of the day so it is cool they also participate in it. Its currently difficult to curb corruption out of the system which is a major tragedy in our race. Policemen are corrupt, government officials and marketers are all corrupt and we all need repentance to enhance and promote growth in our countries.

It seems that corruption is everywhere Smiley
In my country corruption is so strong that you can't work for the government, or in some state country, if you are not in the right political party.
Because of this many young people leaving country.
We are not perfect people and because of it we don't have perfect society or world.
Everything starts from the family.
I think that corruption will stay for us very long time.

it will always exist as long as humans exist.

Corruption has become a global issue that every country has element of corruption activities including the United States of America.
Like what the heck? Honestly, corruption will never ever end and the people who would expect for it to go away are the people who think the world is perfect. We chose to be manipulated by the people we see as more powerful than us without us realizing that we can be the person we wanted. The reason why corruption was created is that the people let a ^ group of people manipulate them before.

Being a politician is really a great thing. Great thing to steal, fool and get your pockets loaded with the people's money and hard works. That's how it is and we have to accept it.
Corruption is a global phenomenon and at that since  corruption is part of human existence it high time we derive mean of minimizing corruption in the world to make it a little safe for our collective good. Corruption is worst then terrorism and the result of corruption can be destructive if not cumb before it escalate in any society.

It is everywhere, when you have enough power to do some then you also will involve in corruption.People think tha they need to make more money don't care about other's welfare is the reason why corruption exist.

I agree that there are people that exist that don't care about other people. The people that don't care about other people's welfare are a problem, so don't give them any power.

caring about others, will paralyse you, bitcoin wouldnt be created, and much worse would never been advertised by a sane person if there would be just a drop of humanism in its madness.

so don't wonder

The more socialist a country becomes, the more corrupt it is. The socialist system is a corruption factory. You see, when you replace the free market, that is: take away the power from the people to make their own choices; with bureaucrats to do the choices for them, it becomes survival to "influence" these bureaucrats. After all, in their hands depends if you eat today or not.

It also happens that those with more money have more "influencing power" than those without it, so it feedbacks itself. This is how Venezuela ended in ruins, and why its got the darkest mark. Before the soviet union fell, they also had similar corruption levels, only the transparency of a free market alleviates this, same as the blockchain: all transactions are public for all to see.

In a free market economy, people are more worried about working or starting their own business. In a socialist economy, people have to shift all their focus towards corruption, as working doesn't provide food anymore. And it doesn't help they start making everything illegal, such as resale of subsidized products. Well duh, you can't work for food anymore... If you think "capitalism" is bad, wait when you actually try "socialism"...

The real problem is everyone in this world have same attitude,it is rare to find the people who worked for other' welfare like Mother Terasa and Nelson Mandela who also had enough power to love their life happily but their only intention is to make other people to be happy.

Those people should be noticed and admired for any good things they did. People should not be forced to doing good for no reason, because then that is where bad people can take advantage of charity meant for those in need. Since the only thing we can turn to is other humans, then I personally cannot trust that system fully.

The best we can do is find the good people and give the power to them, and trust that we make the right choice for the future.

I can't believe in my self that the U.S government is not as corrupt as the other countries (well, that is how the survey was hopefully it was not tampered)

As expected 7 countries from  Western Europe & European Union are included on the top 10 "very clean" from corruption(ranking denmark as the #1). On the other hand the most corrupt countries were from "Sub-Saharan Africa" and "Middle East & North Africa" ranking somalia as the very most corrupt of all.

If this countries from middle east were free from the presence of the Americans we might be able to have a slightly difference.

My darkest punkt is in the USA. A black president. I don't say, he is corrupt. But it is the darkest punkt on the map. Many thanks for the comment.

this map is just a bigotted, lie, transparency international is as corrupt as nonneutral as is cryptomedia that shills 5 billions of altcoins, including bitcoin

the usa holds the worlds financial monetary system (US dollar) and it has the most stable and most access to consumption capacities, therefor the usa, basically is able ton fund its region the best, and europe following as an ally.

if that would disappear and the usa would collapse and cease to exist as a nation becoming a big tower of babel, there would be as much corruption in the usa as anywhere, else, why should people work for free?

regards
