Saint-loup, what's the relevance of that post to Bitcoin, please ?
Like 80% of your posts on the french board. They are disputes and conflicts with other regular members... This one was just the last one of the month.

This is off-topic and you are derailing the conversation.
You can always open a thread in Reputation about your allegations.

EDIT : I will still make my case in the thread that is to be opened about OP in Reputation.
We will see how true your allegations are and how you are trying to smear me.

Since you derailed the conversation, please let's get back to the original question :

Saint-loup, what's the relevance of that post to Bitcoin, please ? Can we openly threaten to organize the hanging of someone ? Huh

I'll reply : None, and hell no.
Why are you asking me a question if you don't want to hear the answer?  Roll Eyes
Very interesting posts to start the month BTW...
Good night

Death threats, gore content (judging your trust ratings). Hm, only 7 days?
Gore content can be easily removed, like all shitposts, OTs, double posts, advertisements... people don't need to be banned for that.

Some guidelines:
1. Free speech - you can say anything as long as it is relevant and presented in a calm and polite manner.

It's not a question of how easy it is to remove.
It is a question of how relevant it is to Bitcoin and Bitcointalk.

You quote sirius :

Some guidelines:
1. Free speech - you can say anything as long as it is relevant and presented in a calm and polite manner.

Your argument doesn't apply here to the gore element, since it isn't an expression of free speech.
It is the publication of a visually disturbing picture, following death threats towards other forum users.

Also, how is that being presented in a calm and polite manner ?

[/!\DISTURBING NSFW/!\ LINK TO THE OP POST ARCHIVE WITH GORE CONTENT OF A DEAD BODY WITH THE HEAD BLOWN UP]

There's a poll whose question is : "How does that make you feel ?"
Choices are :

- Fear
- Anxiety
- Frustration
- Oh shit his head has blown up !
- Motherfucker has such a head
- You turn your head and pass to something else
- Paralyzed

Right following death threats that Halab is referring to in the post above.
It is bullying at it's finest.

I find your lack of faith in Bitcoin disturbing.

@Saint-Loup : This image is just the tip of the iceberg. I won't ask for a ban just for a picture.

I'd like you to translate for everyone what he wrote in that post and pastebin link :

Ayé, t'a gagné un feedback. Smiley

Calm and polite you say ??

Ew yeah, I clicked on that reference link on one of his negs and was treated to a disgusting death pic.  OP, why would you post that here in any context?  I can't read French so I don't understand what that thread is all about.

I'd also say this doesn't appear to be an instance of moderator abuse (though I don't know the whole story).  If anything, bitcointalk is under-moderated if you compare it to the average discussion board.  It's not likely some French mod somehow got a hard-on for harassing you--and in any case, it's only for 7 days.  You're damn lucky you didn't get permabanned.

It's been a while that I'm subject to moderation abuse,  especially under the French sub-section.
Moderation abuse? you must be kidding, right?

My account Danydee https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/danydee-139084 is banned for 7days from now, / reasons pretty unclears
You should even be grateful it's just 7 day ban basing on what you did. It should be way more than that. Be thankful to the Mods for being lenient to you rather than complain.

Réputation topic incoming soon. I'm as puzzled as you are regarding to the sentence.

I will also make my case about this user in the incoming reputation topic.
7 days sounds like a good amount of time for someone to step back and think about his own's actions;
but in this case I believe all hope for betterment is wasted.

My opinion is that the staff's decision in this case (7days temp ban) is too lightweight.
(Like ChiBitCTy's permaban was too punitive)

This user's attitude is toxic;
it discourages new French speaking users to stay around the board and contribute/ask questions about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
