during latest recent Cryptsy scandals lot of inside info was discovered
real secrets
mostly on this thread
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/cryptsy-stopping-withdraw-locking-accounts-without-notifying-users-class-action-1173703
already 323 pages of Cryptsy secrets
some points:
1.Cryptsy had always quite a number of in-house altcoins and in-house altcoin developers
among these in-house altcoins : examples of HBN and Colossus
2.
original Asiacoin scammer-developer it had to be someone very close to Cryptsy itself. There are several leads. Would not go into detail here.
3.Cryptsy always had huge number of Asiacoins. This big number of Asiacoins on Cryptsy wallets was not corresponding to low volume on exchange.
It could be explained this way - Cryptsy invests in some altcoins just to make market in these coins.
In the light of recent developments - more likely Cryptsy's millions of Asiacoins were leftovers from the original scam, washed through Mintpalsome example: wallet https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ac/address.dws?AcNosZPxdcBhJCdiA7zQynNjanVXWVSSMP.htm
this wallet had over 18 million Asiacoins till march, 2015. Then started to move all 18+ millions to Cryptsy hot wallets for sale
( Cryptsy had cash problem in 2015, losing a lot in operations )
from these over 18 millions: quite a number - more than 8 millions were not sold yet in 2015
these 8+ miliions traced from AcNosZPxdcBhJCdiA7zQynNjanVXWVSSMP started making some splits and transfers last months of 2015 and beginning of 2016
the point is : does not look like these around 8 millions or more were returned to some legitimate owner of AcNosZPxdcBhJCdiA7zQynNjanVXWVSSMP.
quite strong suspicion is : this wallet AcNosZPxdcBhJCdiA7zQynNjanVXWVSSMP was not some legitimate Asiacoin purchaser from 2014, but it was another Cryptsy - related
cold wallet ( Asiacoins from original scam, washed through Mintpal, unsold in 2014 due to extremely low volume of Asiacoin then )
today one of Cryptsy - related wallets started moving again : https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ac/block.dws?971024.htm
it is not quite clear, what Cryptsy guys would do with millions of Asiacoins.
Apart from around 8 millions traced from AcNosZPxdcBhJCdiA7zQynNjanVXWVSSMP, there are more thick wallets which could be traced on the blockchain as very closely related to Cryptsy
Actually, these millions of Asiacoins from Cryptsy ( stolen or hacked or whatever ) can kill Asiacoin price again in 2016, similarly as hacked Cryptsy millions killed price of Asiacoin in 2014
Cryptsy - related guys have some pressure to sell altcoins fast ( altcoins are stolen - this time stolen from Cryptsy corporation ) - pressure from divorce trial, also from class action case, and possibly from bankruptcy legal procedures.Cryptsy's guys - despite having millions of unsold Asiacoins from original hack - even in quiet period ( end 2014 and q1 to q3 of 2015 ) - has made absolutely nothing to help Asiacoin grow ( to easier unload their hacked millions ). Just the reverse. Made Asiacoin freeze for months - just to unfreeze to unload some millions fast.
Cryptsy guys were never acting like businessmen - always acting only as scammers and leechers
edit:
please to comment on: option of Asiacoin exchange to Asiacoin 2.0Asiacoin wallet version 2.2.1 is based on Asiacoin Micryon source - and that is based on Bitcoin core version 0.6.3more explanations:
Now Bitcoin has already version v0.12.0rc4 :
https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/releasesNew version of Bitcoin code are almost incompatible with 0.6.3
quote:
Bitcoin Core now uses 'headers-first synchronization'. This means that we first
ask peers for block headers (a total of 27 megabytes, as of December 2014) and
validate those. In a second stage, when the headers have been discovered, we
download the blocks. However, as we already know about the whole chain in
advance, the blocks can be downloaded in parallel from all available peers.
In practice, this means a much faster and more robust synchronization.
This release supports running a fully validating node without maintaining a copy
of the raw block and undo data on disk. To recap, there are four types of data
related to the blockchain in the bitcoin system: the raw blocks as received over
the network (blk???.dat), the undo data (rev???.dat), the block index and the
UTXO set (both LevelDB databases). The databases are built from the raw data.
Block pruning allows Bitcoin Core to delete the raw block and undo data once
it's been validated and used to build the databases. At that point, the raw data
is used only to relay blocks to other nodes, to handle reorganizations, to look
up old transactions (if -txindex is enabled or via the RPC/REST interfaces), or
for rescanning the wallet. The block index continues to hold the metadata about
all blocks in the blockchain.
The user specifies how much space to allot for block & undo files. The minimum
allowed is 550MB. Note that this is in addition to whatever is required for the
block index and UTXO databases. The minimum was chosen so that Bitcoin Core will
be able to maintain at least 288 blocks on disk (two days worth of blocks at 10
minutes per block). In rare instances it is possible that the amount of space
used will exceed the pruning target in order to keep the required last 288
blocks on disk.
Block pruning works during initial sync in the same way as during steady state,
by deleting block files "as you go" whenever disk space is allocated. Thus, if
the user specifies 550MB, once that level is reached the program will begin
deleting the oldest block and undo files, while continuing to download the
blockchain.
Experimental support for big-endian CPU architectures was added in this
release. All little-endian specific code was replaced with endian-neutral
constructs. This has been tested on at least MIPS and PPC hosts. The build
system will automatically detect the endianness of the target.Asiacoin 1.0 problems ( repost )
this premine wallet with 3.2 billion coins is visible today well in Abe explorer for Asiacoin
http://www.multifaucet.tk/index.php?blockexplorer=AC&top_addresses=100actually with so much hacking of altcoins going on, one could not be sure that in future would not exist another hacked wallet allowing
for gradual reintroducing premine coins to Asiacoin
especially if original Asiacoin wallet had been crafted by Cryptsy-related hacker-developer ( as indicated above ) and nobody later was able to reanalyze roughly 39.000 lines of Asiacoin 1.0 codeedit:repost

Hi All,
I would suggest that ALL coins would make a version 2. Why? Cryptsy is holding a lot of small coins, KARMA, LOT, MOON, LEAF, ....
maybe they have a supply of 80% of all the outstanding coins, so we should all make KARMA2, LOT2, MOON2, LEAF2,... type of coins and swap the coins that aren't on cryptsy.
This will mean Cryptsy wouldn't be able to dump their coins on other markets and make another few millions and it can give the current owners of those coins maybe some money back if they were able to withdraw at least a few coins...
Cryptsy is down, so who knows how much coins you have... the best idea would be that everybody could take a screenshot for their stake, but with a exchange down.... in fact i already suggested that weeks ago on the KARM and MOON thread to make a new coin because everybody knew that there were big problems with withdraws... There isn't any perfect solution... only that cryptsy is back and is 100% ôperational, then there is no need for doing this type of actions, but now... do you want to continue trading other coins when you know that Cryptsy will be able to dump their stake on Bittrex, C-CEX, and other exchanges...
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1330315.new#newAsiacoin 2.0 will be based on 2016 coin source, with all distinctive features of Asiacoin intact (Pure POS and so on)as to exchange Asiacoin to Asiacoin 2.0 : we propose to exchange to anyone who will request within specified time frame with no further questions asked
time frame being ( as usual with known coin exchanges ) : one to two months
