To accept/add bitcoin payments option on your store, either you want to receive small or large payments, you just need to configure bitcoin Api.
Blockonomics.co is best in providing you easy setup of an Api. They also have demonstration video to learn how you can bind it to your online store.

To receive payments you just need to have a wallet Ill recommend blockchain if you don't have one yet, although it will be hard for you to prove your service is legit since your new here Ill suggest giving free vouches to few members so they can give feedback on your service that will get you more customers.

Hello

I'm totally new to bitcoin.
What needs to be done if i want to accept micro bitcoin for services that i offer? What type of set up i need to do?

Thanks
Steve

The path to earn bitcoins at your state is so difficult since first you have a long posting limitation's and maybe you should try to reach up first to became a jr member rank on this furom so that you can post some good service and join some various sig campaigns available for that rank. Or maybe if you have an skill on blogging you should try to go on altcoin section to have an idea on how these things works for you.

What do you mean by services you offer? You mean you sell your skills and the payment is bitcoins? I don't know what services you can offer here. But before that you must read usefull pinned topics here for beginners like you. You can earn micro money here in so many ways like joining campaigns or offer what skills you have. But you must rank up your account to be able to get the attentions of services out there in services section.

It is not that difficult mate you just need to use a bitcoin payment service i.e bitpay to accept your payments in bitcoin from your client but first learn about it how can you use it. If you want to directly accept bitcoins from the client then first you have to build your trust level on this forum by trading with some hero/legendary members, so the client can trust you and can send you payment first.

Everyone is saying that you are just  newbie. Well in terms of his account rank he is but who knows that this guy got some expensive skills out there. Its very easy mate learn to have some wallet first and make your own wallet. Just always include to your offer that you are accepting bitcoin, simple right?
There are some freelance sites that allows clients to post jobs which they will have to pay in bitcoin. Like upwork and freelancer.com, these two sites started accepting bitcoin newly,  but you can hardly come across those jobs.
To find them,  Just go to Google Search page and type “jobs for bitcoin on upwork/freelancer”. You can hardly come across writing jobs, all you will see is mostly about software developing etc.

I do not know exactly what you want to do, but I think you are thinking of adding Bitcoin to your payment options. If there is such a thought, it's great! Because you can not support Bitcoin better.

You can use tool vendors such as Bitpay to use Bitcoin in your business. They offer you both reliable and stable systems.

I think he is talking about getting the Bitcoin in return of some service or job he has done. I think if this is what he means, the accepting Bitcoin for Bitcoins will be far more better than getting any other thing in response. Bitcoin is no doubt something which everyone will wish to have in the present day.

Sfatva, if you are a freelancer then its as easy as setting up a wallet and giving your would be employer your BTC address where he can send payment.

Set up a wallet. Go to electrum.org and download the software for your OS and install. Be sure to save your seed in a safe place. If that gets stolen, then someone could gain entry to your wallet and get your private keys.

There are several routes to get started.

One is to get online wallet from blockchain or xapo.

Then use bitpay to accept your bitcoin payments.

Buddy, if its small amount like ten dollars something like that you can use bitify.com to receive the payment. Or if its small amount like 1 or 2 dollars its better to deal directly with the user. Ask him to pay first for your service. At the begining everybody will be hesitant to pay you first. So you need to build trustlevel first. For that first vouch your service to any 3 or 4 hero or legendary members or green trust members of this forum. In that way people will start trusting you.

It's not easy for a newbie like you. If you provide any service and you'll pay in bitcoin, almost people will ask you to pay first and you'll be easily scammed. So try to increase your rank first.
