I also have a friend who have same problem. He accidentally sent USDT to BTC address. What i dont understand is, how come this even possible? I mean every coin have their own type of wallet address right? how come one can transfer from usdt to btc where they have totally different address type? Can someone please explain this?

Hey this is dead and buried question. If you have problem in the transaction. You please check it to the technical support members. If you transferred the coin to different coins wallet address.
What you have made the post here is spam. When the thread is not live you do not bump thread to live back. It may lead to more spam buddy. Keep in mind next time.

I have Accidentally sent bittrex USDT from my wallet to my BItstamp bitcoin wallet address. is there a way i can get back my usdt or coins?
Why are you so careless, do not you read again before transacting? This problem is very difficult, there is no guarantee whether your usdt will come back again. I think you should immediately contact bitstamp support and explain what happened, also include your transaction proof. If you have contacted bitstamp support, you have to wait.

Though I understand your concerns in regard to this matter, I think 10 times might be a bit too much... It's a time waste.. Really..

lol, I know, It is killing me! that's why I hate transferring coins so much!

I think it's just gone... As there's no receiver for the USDT, it will just be in void and it'll be impossible to get it back.
Not sure about how it works exactly though, so many if there is no receiver you get it back automatically? You've lost your USDT otherwise.

Was there really a way to get it back? Its totally going to a different chain so maybe it goes to limbo for a moment and will be back to sender.

Can this transaction get into blockchain? I doubt it.
Did you ask support for help?

yes its in blockchain

Unfortunately, I don't think you will recover your funds. The only thing you can do is contact Bitstamp support and ask them to dump the private key so they can send you your USDT. But Bitstamp does not support Tether for deposit/withdrawal, so I think they are highly unlikely to help you here. Most exchanges these days have disclaimers that absolve them of responsibility if you send a currency to the wrong address. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Contact support anyway. Maybe they will help you.
