Keep voting at mintpal.com, 6 times an hour. Mintpal seems to be adding a new coin every day or so off the top of the list. We have a lot of coins above us, but we really need an exchange and some of these other coins have stupid names.
They tweeted some hours ago that every two days they will add two coins - the one with top votes and another one that they consider having big potential.

Come on cga!! we believe in you  Tongue

Hashrate is dropping again.

Hmm, we really need more miners, only two of us on the MPOS pool ... great when we find a block, but some big gaps appearing between blocks.
i think having it on an exchange will get more people to mine this coin, for me i mined for 3 days straight but didn't make any money mining during those days.people are not going to mine this now if there is no exchange to sell if they want to. most new coins now get on exchanges within the first few days, and if we can get on a exchange than we can get on coin wars which should bring alot of people to this coin.

They are working on it. We have been trading emails back and forth. I hope they can fix whatever issues they are having soon. I'll keep you informed when I get more info.

Poolnetwork - I replied to your PM. Any idea when I can expect my coins please?

With the recent update about altcoinpool, my thoughts are this:

Not trying to have a go at anyone, but if you decide to start a pool, some common sense should be applied:

1. Communication prevents 99% of issues, and goes along way to alleviate FUD
2. If you don't have the time/determination/commitment to maintain your pool, don't start one in the first place...

That being said the community relies on pools, and we are in debt to all those who maintain a reliable service Smiley

EDIT: I don't know why that [Suspicious Link Removed] tag is there, since there wasn't a link. It originally read "[Suspicious link removed]taff".
EDIT2: This is just hilarious now. I am sending the message to the [Suspicious link removed].T.A.F.F.. Hopefully it doesn't get automatically redacted again.
EDIT3: omg. i give up. I'm sending it to the staff who run this website. Apparently saying the name of this forum, followed by the word staff, causes it to be redacted.

Hahaha WTF!

How come I cannot withdraw from http://cga.poolnetwork.org/....and cga.altcoinpool.org is down as well...
Have I lost all my CGA?!??! =(

Will cga.poolnetwork.org be coming back up??? I still have coins with them that I have not been able to receive.

Payouts got jammed due to software fork.. Been mega busy but working on it right now so keep checking your wallet!

I would love to be proven wrong, and still hope I am, but I'm gonna call it - we've been scammed.

Been waiting for my coins for almost a week. The site is offline now.

cga.poolnetwork.org has just come back up with this message:

Coin fork means no payouts could be made, closing pool until dev fixes this!

Sorry for the inconvenience, please contact PoolNetwork on bitcointalk for questions/support.

i sent hoosen some coins,to help him out for cpa.poolnetwork screwing him over.

Hoosen has been paid out in full by my partner and is happy, see below:

http://oi62.tinypic.com/sq1qnp.jpg

The pool experienced a lot of issues due to the forking of the coin meaning cronjobs started failing (auto-payouts) which in turn messed up the figures in the database.

I have PM'ed Ralph and am happy to pay out anybody who mined at our pool and has coins outstanding.

cga.altcoinpool.org/ Huh <- 404 error?

What gives?!? I had like 5 coins there! Where did my coins ?

Hi,
I shut the pool down because the chain has been rapidly forked  and not stable. I thought the coins was useless so didn't care about it.
The database is still untouch. Please send me an email to [email protected] to claim your coins. (remember to use the email that you registered)

If someone's mining on your pool and you have possession of their coins (NOT YOURS), then you should make sure to at the VERY LEAST, make a post on your front page news area that you shut down the pool and let them get their coins. Instead, you appear to have your news posts about CGA entirely. I don't trust you at all, and I'm going to be sending my evidence to the [Suspicious link removed]taff so you that you can dispute the claims with them instead.

I have messaged the owner of altcoinpool.com (nbphuoc) on reddit about the status of cga.altcoinpool.com, since he posted his pool on the CGA subreddit. In the interest of keeping the community informed, I have included a screenshot of the message I sent (plus the text if you can't open it), and will also include any replies he sends back.

My original message, sent Thursday February 13, 23:32:47 2014 UTC:

Text version if you can't see the image:
"nbphuoc,

Could you confirm for myself and everyone else in the community whether or not your pool for CGA (cga.altcoinpool.com) will be coming back? Additionally, it seems some people have coins stored there. Please either return these and make a public statement that you shut down the pool, or bring the pool back as soon as possible so that people can withdrawal their coins if they so wish. Until you act, I have removed your pool from the subreddit.

I look forward to seeing your reply on the main CGA forum post (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/acga-cryptographic-anomaly-the-elusive-coina-437950). I will be posting this message and your reply there, as I feel that keeping communications transparent is important for the community in this case.

Thank you for notifying me about the issue, but I don't usually use reddit so I didn't get your message.
I'm only noticed about the issue after lemoncoin devs notifed me.
It would be great if next time you contact me via the personal message in bitcointalk.

Thank you - IN RE: to it being a scam pool  - I dont ever use the same password for any site (just on the off chance it is a scam), I and prob many others just want to get their coins!

Neither do I, but I read some people that used a password at only altcoinpool.org and another site got the other site hacked.
