I do both, it is good, because you dont only put eggs in one bracket. Passive income is better deffinetly, because you just invest and wait, but as for me active is also good, you do some small tasks and by doing them, sometimes you find really intresting projects, where maybe in future, you would want to invest in.

It is good to do both active and passive if you can surely do it, but the investing thing I thing is risky because investing with other site or sites that has a mining feature might try to trick you in some ways or some scheme like this are also active out there so be careful with it, but I think working it out just like what you are doing with your regular work can actually paid off because as safe as they can get active income is more reasonable to put your time and effort more than anything, but if you can surely do both why not.

The active and passive combinations that I've been using, I do not want to get caught in a situation that only benefits where we are active and lose in our passive.

welcome folks.. I am here with two money earning and money investment terms which most people are not aware of so I thought we should discuss about this too.
What is Active earning?
when you earn and gets played for how much time you worked. such as signature campaigns or faucts. that mean if you d not work they aren't gonna pay you.
What is Passive earning?
when you invest your money in something or somewhere in order to get some amount(mostly fixed amount) even wile you are not at work. such as investment or cloud mining.

if you are investing your coins then you should first understand the main difference between assets and liability, its like trading and shopping. assets help you make money but liability will consume some money even after you bought it.

so which one you doing active or passive?
I am doin first option and also second option with this .
Usually I collect Bitcoin from.the signature campaign and sometimes from faucet and then hold it until the price get high to a good level .
And then sell , so I don't ever need to buy Bitcoin , only sell Smiley .
Secondly my earnings from the passive is from the holding altcoins for long term like eth and dash .And made huge money yearly by doing nothing .
And I also think that everyone should be in active and passive job both , because the earnings always increase in sucj cases more speedily because at one side you are earning and second side your are investing , so no much impact will fall at the mind .

Passive is kind of boring although I am profiting in it and cant do anything about it.
I already have a job so that is like a passive earning for me.
With bitcoin I am trying to make it different.
Trading and a little gambling for fun. I want some movement with my coins and I want it fast. I know it grows in price faster than any invetment but still after my job I want to do something and not just sit and wait for bitcoin to rise.

just as I thought. well technically people can not find work or if they are smart enough they will find one. but it depends on you to convert your hard work into smart work. I am not saying that put your everything into a hype I am saying if you keep your active earning then one day you can not work anymore and that is the time which is called retirement. remember life is short so try to find a way that you will get payed even if you are not doing anything. I know that passive earnings are way more slower than active but its like a future saving for us. if you want to be rich then you have to make your own smart way which will be better than other people who are working hard like you. just think how you can organize your money better than others because most people just spend them.

I don't know of any way in crypto to earn a passive income other than investing money in a casino or having some place like Poloniex lend it out for you.  There are a number of investment opportunities that offer dividends, but that shit is all scammy as hell.  With fiat, you can own stocks that pay dividends, and that's usually very reliable passive income, plus the opportunity for capital gains.  Bonds, same thing.  Interest-bearing accounts with banks is another.  But that's all with cash money.  Everything in the world of crypto that offers passive income should be viewed with extreme skepticism.

Agreed. I wouldnt trust anyone to lend out your BTC for you, Poloniex included. The risk vs reward just isn't high enough for me

More on Active Earning for me. I have a current signature campaign so that is the only way I earn my bitcoin. But once I earn enough btc, I will be shifting to a Passive Earning. I will go investing my bitcoin in trading. Of course I will study first the coin that I want to invest to. And then I just roll my capital in other coins as well.

I earn through signature campaigns and invest them in some good ICOs.As we know investing in ico isusually a long term investment but I have successfuly made good money with some ico.I think i am doing a combination of both active and passive.

I prefer active.

Crypto isn't like stocks in that you can't analyse the balance sheet etc.

Thus its much more based on market sentiment and momentum than technicals

Active yields more (on average, for most people), passive requires no effort beyond the initial capital. It really depends on personal preference and what kind of numbers game can be used. Most people would find it to be beneficial to use a combination as opposed to just one or the other.

I am personally using a combination, hence my statement above. There is no point locking myself into one or the other when there is a ton of value that comes from utilizing both strategies for money. Take some of the active, put it into passive, etc.

I agree, it's pretty much about personal preference. I think that the people that make money passively make a few bucks and they might feel successful though compared to people that make money actively it's a small amount to look at. People that are active are usually at work every day or almost every day because they feel the need to make money each day so they could survive inside the world that we live in right now.

Is there any legit online passive services today? Maybe yes but on real life. Worked hard to earn good money. Just make sure that our effort applied to a certain work pays much and worth it. I prefer active earnings here.

Just want to say that just holding any coins that is expected to bloom after long term doesn't mean it's a passive income.

I don't have enough money to invest and try passive earning. So i would just try to continue to participate in campaign and other job works and earn actively. When i get enough investment, then i would try passive earning.

I try to be as passive as I possibly can with sltcoon investments. I try to not spend my bitcoins but I have gambled a bit away. Thankfully I no longer gamble. I will however still go through the forum and see what's going on in the gambling world and maybe do s promo or two. I've started investing in casinos and combined with the rise of bitcoins price is going very well. I'm happy with crypto and I'm loving it.

Nice post btw.
