I can definitely relate with what you are going through. I think it's perfectly normal that you are preoccupied in your mind with trading thought. As you trade and become experienced, your expectations will be factual, real and stabilized! Just keep trading. If there is any good addiction, trading it is!
Trading is a long lasting learning process and it takes years and years for someone to become an expert in the world of trading. The thing is you just need to remain there in this field even if you suffered some loss. You just need to learn as much new things as you can by your own personal experience as well as by taking guidance from others. You will surely get a huge reward of all this in the future.
Right.Experience is the best teacher. But i think addiction like in trading may be profitable like everybody says but for me,life should still be balance.Do not engrossed yourself with full experiences of trading, learn to take a break too.You may miss out some things from your investment or trading but making memories too like unwinding with family and loved ones is also essential in a man's life.

I like that! Simple, realistic and straightforward. Usually for traders, there is no point monitoring the charts every minute once you know what you are looking for and waiting to see in the trade. Over time, as the experience and the confidence keeps building up, you get more relaxed when trading and know that in the long run, you will always have the time to enter the market and make the best of the fluctuations.

I am sure every trader feels different. You know sometimes, you may always end up having some pretty fast moves and then you keep wondering how you missed it. I hate that feelings and this is the reason why I have always been watchful when it comes to the market. It is not addiction, it is just being careful not to miss it, but you do not have to make it like every single minute, after all, this is why there are alarms to notify of any movement in the market.

Correct, trading could really be addicting and its a continues process. We have heard so many successful traders around not just in crypto but also in stock markets as well who made tons of millions. But I'm sure that along the way, there are many ups and downs but they keep to fight another day, until such time that the experience they gain overtime made them very successful.

Its a long road, but I say we don't need to rush. Set your goals and don't be disappointed and you will get your reward at the end with all your sacrifices.

Absolutely, and I'm glad to not be alone! Actually, I'm addicted to forex, and I?m just a beginner in crypto, but I can predict that this will be my next mania... :-)))))

I see, I also consider myself as addicted to bitcoin and wants to know everything because I indulge myself so I guess I have to gather information about it. May we don't even know the future yet but we all knew that their is a future in bitoin because it changes a life and gives graces. I wanted to have a lot of cryptocurrencies because I wanted to save for the future needs.
There is nothing to get proud on climbing yourself as an addicted to bitcoin. Because it will eventually kill your other activities and you may lose your focus on your life's responsibility over time if you do not care about addiction towards bitcoin.

You may enjoy your addiction by earning more number of bitcoin for a given time but after some time you may have more frustration due to your addiction. So take some activities to get rid of your addiction.

I think it's natural for you to continue to check your investments. This is your investment.

This is the common feeling of many investors entering financial markets and encrypting money markets.

Do you ever feel like you're overly obsessed with cryptocurrencies or trading/investing in general?
Personally, I'm fairly satisfied with my investments/decisions so far but yet I'm looking for market opportunities most of the time. I think that's mainly because of the fact that majority of my time browsing the internet I watch related content. I'm passionate quite passionate about it.

Over time it kinda makes me feel depressed that I don't make as much as I possibly could or others have better scores (some unhealthy jealousy I guess?), so this "paper-chasing" has become a target itself.

When I want to take a break from all this stuff for let's say a month or week at least then I'm not able to because I'm afraid that I will miss out on something.
On the one hand, I have made investments in projects I believe in so I could leave it for few months even and then back but at the other hand, I'm still not quite sure about my diversification so I keep watching the market.

Can anyone relate?

I can say that we are the same, im so obsessed with trading cryptocurrency and investing in an ICO. Every new opportunity that i see it excites me everytime. In my daily routine even if i am eating foods or before i go to bed, i still think about crypto. Is it still normal? Cheesy
Not all the people are getting excitement when they are finding different crypto currency opportunities. I mean to say they are treating these opportunity as just another opportunity where they do get from their regular job or from a friend. No big differences for them so that they will never get any excitement which is the main reason for getting addiction. When you are able to control your emotions when you are seeing some easy money then you can simply move them without getting addictions to them.
You are right. When we are giving more importance for something and when we are making ourselves ready to spend more time for that which may land us into addiction after some times. One basic thing here I must mention is, being careful against getting addiction. When we are consciously dealing anything, we can simply avoid any kind of addictions. There are a lot of people, they are into thousands of opportunities of easy money still they are treating them just another resources of earning not anything more than that.

All the activities which are enforcing you to spend more time with them definitely will lead to addiction. No exception with trading. We all need to be more careful to handle our depression as well as excitement so that we can avoid addiction with anything hence with trading too. Most of the times, the earning opportunities with unlimited potential or easy money making opportunities are easily giving addictions. But fortunately trading is profitable even it gives addiction.
But we cannot tolerate any kind of addiction even it will be giving profits or not. Because addiction will lead to disasters over time so they must avoid addiction even it will be supporting your living. When you are conscious with your responsibilities and other activities then you can simply avoid getting addiction with trading. In my opinion only people who are all looking for more money due to their greediness will get addictions more quickly.

I am pretty sure that I cant take break from such things. The crypto runs in my veins now and I cant let it go very easily because most of the money is coming from the same sources, trading! The trading has become really nerve wrecking and I cant wait to pop in my house after my 8 hours duty and get in front of the PC to start trading or see whats cooking in my previous investment. Thats more important somehow and yeah its kind of addiction to me now.  Grin

Moreover who can run from the signature campaigns, they are always there to help you as extra support. Its not much but its still free money when you are working on the bounty programs and you will never want to miss one which is initiated by your loving campaign manager.  Cool

Yeah, its all about the addiction of crypto now and I can relate to you completely.

Yep, I often have that feeling especialy when I see how much are people obsesses with Bitcoin price. It seems now it's only price that matters. Watching the price every hour or even more often, sometimes I even catch myself doing that. And I think that can easily get to addiction, just like gambling and have similar consequences. It's good to have a little more selfcontrol.

I think that there is always a possibility for this to happen, most especially if you always get good deals and gain good profit. For a person who is so hell-bent on attaining and objective, it would seem that you would have to be an "addict" because you have to closely monitor and check everything in the market. However, I think that instead of coining it as addiction, I think that it is more appropriate to just call it diligence. Since its a venture that you went into, it is also normal to expect that you would do anything you can to make it work and to avoid negative things from happening like a loss. And for that, you really have to take into account every action you do.

Quite funny on how these things work. It seems like an addiction. I also feel the same way. There was a time I left Bitcoin and that was around 2015 or 2016 due to the price not favoring me the way I wanted it. After I left, it happened that the price took a fall, giving an opportunity to those that had patience and then took a run for a higher price. Since then, I never take a break again, I’m always ON. It’s like an addiction indeed.

Well 2017 was different because it was like madness and frenzy specially around December when bitcoin peaked at almost $20K. Everyone has totally glued to their seat (including me) to watch and monitor how much we are gaining like everyday.

However, I'm over my addiction on the market watch. I seldom checked the price and will just glance at it and make several adjustments on my investments specially my trading activity.

But for those who are addiction, you can't blame them. But its not as addicted as gambling though. Its no way comparable. At least in crypto you have the possibility to make a lot of money as compare to gambling which we all know that you will lose everything at the end.

I can relate to this lol  Cheesy
just like what other say, there is a perfect moment for everyone, not all can achieve what others attain or earned from cryptocurrency especially for those people that was into trading this currency at its early stage, i believe the market is still young and has a lot of room to develop and improve so don't lose hope, we will take profits as well soon Smiley
