I was addicted to drugs when I was young and it was hard to stop, how do you think to get rid of drugs?
Mind is everything now you said you got rid so you have made your mind to do that so everything is in the mind if you have the will power you can do anything
I have not touched too many people and drug abuse incidents. I can't give you too much advice in this regard, but I know that drug addiction is a psychological barrier and the most difficult to overcome!
This is a very unfortunate thing that I do not pray for anybody to pass through. I've been there, and by the grace of God, I came out alive! If you've not tasted drugs or any mood changing substances, thank your God. Pls STAY AWAY FROM DRUGS!!!

You should have a treatment. This is very important in the beginning. Also it depends on you and your willpower.

You can't get rid of drugs, nor should you. If people want to take drugs then let them. Most people who do drugs can do so without getting addicted. I've met very few alcoholics in my life but know plenty of people who drink socially every now and again. Of course it can always become a problem but that's the individuals responsibility. I don't think we should be telling them or anyone else that they shouldn't or can't be drinking or doing these drugs. It's all about moderation. People who get addicted to drugs use them as self-medication and they're using them to numb some sort of emotional, physical or mental pain so you need to look at the root issue of what is causing that first, but drowning your sorrows or using drugs to cope with trauma is a quick way to get addicted very fast.
You must forced yourself to avoid it. If you cant help yourself go to Rehab
Why go to expensive rehab? Lock yourself in a room. Rehab only works if you have the willpower and if you have the willpower then just stop doing the drugs. It isn't going to be easy but that's the only way to stop at the end of the day.
I don't thing addictions to drugs are unavoidable if the person have the will power so the mind is the only thing that matters in these kind of situations
We all have some addictions , some good some bad , and no one is perfect so please forgive yourself and join to institute of leaving habits , you will meet more people like you and it would help a lot to know your not alone and there are some people to help you.

My brother had a serious drug problem for a couple years. It really helped him to go to a good rehab place near our hometown. He had tried quitting several times. Others tried offering to help him go to a rehab center. That didn't do it though. In the end, it had to be his decision. He made the call and went to rehab on his own free will. He was supposed to be there for just a week, but he asked them to extend another week. He just quit everything, cold turkey, drugs, alcohol, smoking. He's already been completely clean for a few years now. copper member

First of all you have to realy want to stop using drugs and let others help you. Surround yourself with good people.
