The olympic games are held within one country Japan and Europe is separated over europe, so the distribution is completely different but still it is not sure if that will be organized on that way.
Either way both events will go through for sure. I do not think they can take the risk to postpone it again. Next year in the winter, we will first have the Winter Olympics and later in the year we will have the world championship in december.

I have heard that spectators are not welcome to tje Olympics, so I am really curious how they want to manage that on the Euro 2020 tournament. It still gives a strange thought that it is called 2020 while we already live in 20201

Probably they will not implement payments like you oppose. The idea for Crypto gambling is to stay as anonymous as possible. If you will introduce the alternate payment solutions, then that idea is gone.
They could consider it to offer for people who wish to. If a user chooses mBTC as currency, then you can only deposit and withdraw in cryptocurrency.
