The problem is you have to convince 2 things. First, convince people to pay for pornography when they can find most things online for free. Also, most free videos are either stolen contents by uploaders or "short previews" of a full video.
Short previews commonly consists of bundled 10-20 seconds scenes of the whole video, you will not enjoy it as "porn is all about the plot"
Most people who watch porn on the free "tube"-like website really don't care of the content is stolen or not.

Yep. And you'd think PornHub, a multi-billion dollar business, would know better. 🤦 A very very rookie mistake, if anything. It's such a noobie mistake that I'm heavily leaning on PornHub actually being paid by these projects to accept their coins.
CamSoda is trying to grab their chances on crypto payments for there live cam sites. as we know some months ago PornHub also tried accepting crypto payments but then found out it was only 1 percent of their total earning was paid through crypto's but they are still a very optimist about cryptos. but CamSoda is going for it as it is a live cam which is more likely to get monthly subscriptions too.
This kind of services will really help the adoption of cryptocurrency by common people. Maybe not all people love gambling, but I'm sure all people love adult content. That's why, the more adult sites to use crypto as their payment choices mean the more people will know that cryptocurrency is. By the way, what crypto they accept? 
@nc50lc Yeah, well Verge and other alts as mjglqw kindly lists (Tron and Zencash). I get if they wanted to stick to a privacy coin but the smart move would still have been Bitcoin, and then Monero if they really wanted a serious privacy alternative. You adopt anything other than BTC and you should expect nothing. Of all 3 coins PH accepted, no one I know owns it, much less uses it.

Not only Verge, but also Tron and ZenCash. Like Jeebus. It's great to know that CamSoda have accepted the challenge, Pornhub should have not given up in the first place, because cryptocurrency and porn industry is more compatible because of the anonymity of Cryptocurrency, but we'll see how CamSoda can succeed where Pornhub failed, time will come when the majority of porn sites will use cryptocurrency, because of their compatibility.
