Bitcoin has a long list of advantages:
1. Low fees definitely
2. Transactions are almost instant-distance isn't a barrier
3. Internationally recognized
4. Storage of bitcoins doesn't attract maintenance fees
5. Easily accepted by exchangers
"3. Internationally Recognized" I think not all countries recognize bitcoin, bitcoin banned from use in some countries. But overall I agree with you about the advantages bitcoin. If the advantage bitcoin I may add, that bitcoin fluctuation tends to increase, it will greatly benefit users bitcoin. Moreover there is no additional cost in bitcoin so we need not fear incur additional costs that drain our bitcoin.
Trust me most of the countries have already recognized Bitcoin. And the ones who have not don't play any significant role.
That however doesn't mean that those countries who have recognized Bitcoin are loving it.At least not the people who are in power, the governments.
The part of the populace however who already know about Bitcoin is also loving it. Bitcoin means more financial freedom, independency and choice to us, while for governments this means less control of the money supply and less control of the people.
And don't let us forget that are countries out there who definitely support research and development of Bitcoin and crypto currencies in the hope of becoming a major hub for that new growing industry and it's companies.
