Your bid is too low as there are no more slots at 0.45.
Should we assume the newbie account bids at 0.45 are going to be accepted?

I won a slot in the last auction sir and paid promptly.

Can we advertise now, and then again in the next round?

Yes.

I just realized that I accidentally left the "auction ending soon" ad up after closing the last auction. This auction is not ending soon, but in something like 6-10 days. Sorry about that! If anyone bid expecting to have ads up soon, you can cancel your bid.

Hi Theymos, if we advertise now for a few days, can we bid again in a few weeks?  I'm not clear if the rules state that once you run an ad, you never get to run one again, or if there's a waiting period.

There's no waiting period, but ads are done in fixed time periods; each auction thread auctions off slots in an entire future time period. So you can't generally advertise for just a few days.

Hi Theymos,

Sorry, I just read my last question and I realize it was poorly written.

What I meant to ask is, if we win an auction for a round, does that exclude us from being in the rotation in the future?  Can we advertise now, and then again in the next round?  I read the rules, and you mention that you want to keep things fresh so the same people are not constantly advertising, which is why I ask.

AFAIK there is no waiting period, therefore you can be the winning bidder in consecutive auction rounds.

To theymos , why I was not accepted in round 197?
Your bid was not high enough to win any slots. Your bid was "9 @ .3 BTC" however the lowest high bid was for 0.4 BTC per slot.
