Here are some issues we'd like to see at my company.

We have 1166 Pro and 1246 Avalons that just randomly shut off and have to be power cycled to turn back on. Why?

Can we have a list of all the ascset parameters for Avalons?

Is there ever going to be updated firmware for those miners?

The FMS tool is extremely laggy and would be nice to have it fixed to run as well as Whatsminer tool or BTC Tool.

Pity that the original FMS devs told me it was in there - hey Smiley
Also fun that the API information that Canaan provides shows it also.

Hello, our company is a listed company with strict audits, so we have to filter Bitcoin and ensure legality.
Yet those strict audits don't care that you violate the cgminer license in your more recent miners Tongue
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.61503204
hmmm... how do you know that our recent miners violate the cgminer license?
If your software is still using cgminer then per-license the source code MUST be made public. Canaan did that for the A6xx, A7xx, A8xx, and A9xx series. After that they started using FMS for the user interface instead of LuCI. Is FMS also a re-write of the actual miner code as well?

Main question is: Does FMS still contain cgminer code? If it does then it is supposed to be made public.

Advice for Canaan sales.

Thanks for the information, well, there are many scammers on Telegram or SNS platforms, please never trust those who convince you to pay with BTC or USDT. Our online shop team didn't change prices on Jan 15th.
BTW, you can always contact us by Email [email protected] or leaving us a message on our online shop.
It was a Canaan sales rep.

That's the reason for my comment you quoted.

Advice for Canaan sales.

Stop running scams.

The BTC price jumped to around $21k on the 14th

On the 15th (at least a day later) I was indirectly given a price for the newer A13 miners.
When we got back to the sales guy, less than 12 hours later (due to sleep times) his reply was:

"That price is for your next order, this order will be X" where X was higher.

Full on scam bait and switch.

Edit: FYI X was around 1000 more per miner

However, someone on my pool bought a miner from them and was rejected due to the 'coins being risky'

So apparently canaan keeps some unknown list of addresses to filter the payments and won't accept all BTC payments.

Clearly canaan's new leadership has some delusion about what Bitcoin is.

So I think I blew my a1246 psu

does the a1166 psu work as a drop in.

also where is a firmware link for psu and a1246

I have a spare a1166 psu and I am looking at this link from Newegg which says the a1166 psu works

https://www.newegg.com/p/3GG-000G-00001

but your website link for psu's says nothing about the a1246

https://shop.canaan.io/collections/spare-parts

says a1056 to  a1126

One advice I would give Canaan is to be more conservative in your hashrate claims.
All our Canaan machines have about 10% lower hashrate than advertised.
