Greetings, esteemed community. Could you help me advise? I've seen a lot of topics on the forum about crypto or bitcoin casinos, but I need clarification on their point. As I understand the crypto casino involves paying in different cryptocurrencies, and the bitcoin casino involves only bitcoins. How to choose a casino, is there a criterion for this, or do you just go to any casino and play? It's a rash move without preparation. Also interested in a payment system, which is recommended to play in such casinos? Or just a suitable crypto wallet? I apologize for my silly questions, but I want to understand everything once and for all.

I'm sure, if you are serious to find out. our members here have given you references and input related to what you asked. because I have read as a member we have provided the information you are asking about as well as some others have recommended for you. I just want to add, there are many casinos in our forum. you can check them one by one according to what has been recommended by other members.

Beforehand you should check or read each casino's ToS you visit, before actually registering. plus, so that you understand better because there you will get a more detailed answer. and remember to choose according to the criteria you want, some of the casinos that we have here have a reputation that can be trusted. you just need to explore it, before you make a choice.

Your questions depends on you regarding what you really want. If you want casino that you can deposit with bitcoin, you choose it and plus other factors that you may want to consider. The forum has a lot of gambling companies that you can pick from and you can check the reputation board to know reviews on them , this is very important so that you don't find it difficult with withdrawing your money when you win.

There's no criteria except for the standard you've set which should be your criteria, we have alot of gambling websites on the forum here and they have different services being provided in gambling, your choice will now depend on which one you will go for, but i will advise this before you choose one, have a little test or experience with them and decide on ehich best suit your satisfaction as we have enough casinos present on this forum as well.

I apologize for my silly questions, but I want to understand everything once and for all.
I think this thread: Topic: How to choose a casino?, will help you to start and choose as well as understand the crypto casino you want to visit, whether it's bonuses, types of crypto, withdrawals/deposits, and also gambling sites that you need to avoid.
The quotes below can be useful for you now and in the future.

Here's a list of sites created by some users based on several criteria.
List of Gambling Platforms
List Of Crypto Casinos with The Best Faucets
Gambling sites with internal exchange
List of Casinos and Sportbooks to Avoid

There are no special recommendations, you are free to play with one of them. I would only suggest going to the respective original threads to check the forum user experience reviews before deciding to create an account.

Very important this one: List of Casinos and Sportbooks to Avoid, you see and note for you, so as not to get stuck when choosing an online crypto casino.

Its the riskiest thing you can do, not all that glitters are gold, so don't just believe in a casino that is being advertised or getting hype, if you want to know what casinos are worth playing, then do these two things, check their announcement thread so what they are offering, their features, their terms, and feedback coming from their players, second check the scam section its  where you can find complaints of players from the casinos they are playing, check if the complaint is legit, take your time you will eventually find the right casino for you.
There are many scam casinos here in the gambling community and those who got scammed failed to do their research and just play.

If you still didn’t choose a casino maybe you should read my recommendation. First of of all you should determine what games do you really want to play because Casino has different specialties which there promotions mostly focus on the that type of game. There’s 3 categories on casino games which is slot, live games(table games, game show and etc.) and sportsbook. You should determine what games you really want to play to easily find the perfect casino for you. Next is the currency, typically casino supported multiple currency and I really suggest to use stable coin like USDT or BUSD as beginner since it has low transaction fee and the value is stable.

You can use this https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/table-withdrawal-fees-and-withdrawal-amounts-on-crypto-casinos-5333602  table for choosing the best casino for you since some of them has free withdrawal. Use metamask as wallet if you choose stablecoins or electrum if you choose Bitcoin.

Sportsbet, Duelbits and Stake are the best casino for Sportsbook
Livecasino.io and Bitcasino is the best for Slot games
Livecasino.io is the best for live games.

This suggestion is based on my almost 7 years experienced of online gambling. This is partly biased since I endorsed Livecasino but I personally using it which is why I giving it a vouch aside from promoting it.

There are many to choose from mistly offering bonuses (often they are competing which one would be higher), same set of games, and other alike features. But what for me, would make a player stay is the technical support or the response of the gambling platform towarda the concerns of its players. You may seek for advantages such as those huge bonuses as they promote but not all gambling platforms would mind the existing problems on their site, worse? there will be isolated cases of non paying related issues and they won't make an action about it. Ither features to consider are speed of transactions, accessibility, and odds (matters to some players).

You need to research for yourself and see which casino is good for you. You may take help from casino reviews sites or visit Ann threads of different gambling sites on this bitcointalk forum.

Thanks, I'll check it out.

It's not a rookie mistake if you've skipped the TOS, most of the gamblers did that to new casinos. The only thing that needs to read first, is the country restrictions. If see we're not in a restricted country, we tend to to skip the rest of the TOS.

Regarding that review, I did not clicked the link. You know it's better safe than sorry, if you know what I mean. People in this forum are super careful in opening links. Again, you are in the gambling board in this community, you can find a lot of ANN thread/reviews, where you can choose what you think is a good online casino.

Thanks, I'll be careful when following the links. You will need to read the ANN thread/reviews. There is a lot of information.

Quote
Try to see the reviews for the site you're trying out, whether it be through review sites, forums, or any source really. Take more than one as a reference and then judge based on that. There are also casinos in this forum so if you're that lazy to do a search on others, then starting here may not be that bad.

Thank you, that's what I'll do. I want to look for more reviews on TrustPilot or other specialized resources. By the way, that's why I decided to ask about crypto casinos on bitcointalk

Quote
OP you don't need to stress yourself much with unnecessary loads of search through the net, take advantage of the reputable casinos present on the forum here, once you click on their campaign discussion ANN thread you will see all about them provided they are not the one being tagged red, why you needed to start with the ones on the forum here is to help you get secured and used to the ones you can easily have access to their representatives on the forum, they can easily attend to you and members of the forum can as well give you the support you may require if they're experienced in it.

Thank you, you have calmed me down. I will have to have a look at the reviews on bitcointalk

For me, as understand it, Bitcoin casino are the eeliest casino casinos that was built before altcoins started emerging, bitcoin casino simply means that its strictly Bitcoin for both deposit, withdrawals, betting/gambling, even your bankroll will be shown is shown as bitcoin based on your bitcoin balance, there is not fiat support on bitcoin casinos, Bitcoin casino are very few this days, as many of them have turned to crypto currency casinos where both bitcoin, altcoins and fiat are now accepted means of depositing, withdrawing and betting/gambling.

if you are choosing a casino, their reputation is important, how fast customers attend to issues is important, how big their community is is also important, For example, How fast withdrawal requests are processed is very important as wellStake.com is a good casino to choose, but this does not mean that there are others, there are several casinos on this forum that have made good names for themselves, Stake is just one of those plus a host of others .

I am completely okay with playing in bitcoins because it feels more convenient to me and also widely accepted on every crypto casino whereas the possible con is high withdrawal fee compared to other altcoins but for me its okay and it varies depends on every individual.
I still wonder why bitcoin transaction is high on many centralized platforms, if using a noncustodial wallet for the transfer and comparing bitcoin with fiat stable coins like USDT on Tron blockchain, I still use lower fee to transfer bitcoin, but also depends on how congested mempool is.
Perhaps, it's because centralized platforms have predetermined transfer fees, so they can't adjust like non-custodial wallets. They may use the transfer fee to avoid a sudden spike in fees on the bitcoin network, so they feel the need to raise the transfer fee to the minimum threshold or a little bit higher. So far, I have used a personal wallet instead of a centralized or non-centralized platform because of the difference in the high transfer fee factor. And I also feel that we can determine how much it costs if we want to transfer from a non-custodial wallet to our gambling account.

As for the wallets, most crypto casinos have internal crypto wallets where you hold the funds you're going to use to gamble, so I don't think you'd need to worry over a "suitable" wallet.  Ofc prior to that you yourself should have a crypto wallet, but that's a different issue. As for payment methods, rare are casinos that accept Bitcoin only afaik, as there's a variety of options most of the time, pick the one that would be less hassle for you to handle and if possible, lesser fees as well.

You can check the ANN threads of good casinos in the Gambling section here at the forum. You will see that the good and reputable ones offer a lot of different coins to play with and as such there is no need to play in different casinos, not only that but these good casinos are constantly looking to add more coins to their offering geared especially to people like you asking for such options.

You have a couple of good options as multicurrency wallets like Exodus and Atomic wallet that can satisfy your needs, you can only use one of these or both if you like and you will have the most well known cryptos there in one wallet that you can just send to the casinos offering multiply currencies to play with and thats it.

Choosing the casino doesn't necessarily based on accepted currencies, you need to consider their reputation as first preference then look the game you're highly interested in betting is available or not and how their support system works in case of any issue reported.
But if to speak the truth, there are many reputable casinos today that accept bitcoin and many other cryptocurrencies

Playing with crypto is recommended, it involves less fuss. Regarding choosing casino, go with the one who is existing since few years and have gained the community trust. Stake since 2017, Megapari since 2019. They are trustable until they aren't.
Actually, it is enough to do some research on casino sites and see the reputation of trust and the number of users on the site.
In this forum there are lots of casino sites promoted by other users, we just have to choose and do some research, so it's not difficult to choose a casino.
It's just that of the many casinos that have been promoted, not all of them can be trusted and are good for us to use as a gambling platform.
But I'm sure the users of this forum already know and understand which casinos are truly worthy.

I play at Duelbits and a few other casinos and only use bitcoin for now but I've also used other coins like Dogecoin, LTC, and TRX.
The way to choose this casino is based on what makes you feel happy playing at a particular casino so that it makes you feel like coming back to that casino.
This may be related to taste because every gambler will not have the same casino in gambling and what games they play.
I suggest you install a personal wallet like a Trust wallet to deposit and receive funds you use for gambling because maybe if you use an exchange, they can ban the source of funds from gambling sites.

There are no difference between casinos accepting Bitcoin and other casinos that are accepting only Alt coins or Bitcoin (BTC) and other Alt coins. All of these casinos accept Crypto currencies, because Bitcoin and Alt coins are all defined as Crypto currencies.

Now, with gambling and Crypto currencies it is usually to your advantage if you choose a casino that accepts Bitcoin (BTC) and a lot of other Alt coins, because some Alt coins have very fast transaction speeds for the deposits and withdrawals and very low fees. So it might be good to use other Alt coins for that...and then to withdraw to an exchange.. where you can sell the Alt coins and buy some Bitcoin... if you want to hoard Bitcoin (BTC)

I agree. Apart from that, I would just recommend to the OP to try different casinos with small amounts to see which one he likes the most. The casinos that advertise on the forum via our signatures are reliable, all except 1xBit as far as I remember. For the rest, just get informed, try it out and enjoy!
Yeah, casino who run signature campaign is also proving if they're serious about their casino and willing to spend more money in marketing, small casino doesn't have funds to run signature campaign since they have limited bankroll. Even when the casino has a complaint or accusation against them, it will force the representative to solve the case ASAP or they will get negative feedback from DT members. So choosing a casino based on active signature campaign is really good idea.

If I'm not mistaken there's a casino which run signature campaign for long and already trusted enough, but after they stopped the campaign, the casino often get a lot complaint and there's no representative solved the case.
