You cannot state categorically that that is the reason why users join btt, Bitcointalk is not a forum that pays to post, like cryptotalk, so it's not a scenario were users register and immediately start posting to get paid, there are stages users must pass to become 'eligible' to earn from the forum. If one is interested in Bitcoin, then they should be on this forum, there is no better crypto forum than btt, to learn the responsibility there is of 'being your own bank' and avoiding scams.If you even have money to invest in Bitcoin, without a fair level of knowledge on the network, it's security protocols and other whatnots, then such people will definitely make mistakes, they'll choose the wrong wallet, make errors in keeping their private keys/seed phrase, will easily fall for malware and phishing links and will prolly lose their funds, all that is what the forum protects users from through the contributions of other users who put efforts in posting about scams, how to avoid them and the best ways to store funds. That's what people come here to learn and discuss Bitcoin generally, and if the users who make this knowledge available earn through signature campaigns, there should not be any complain about that.
