If I have a deep pocket like you do, I would buy more bitcoin now at the current low price.
We have all seen what happened after the price dropped from $250 to $100 in early 2013 and after the price dropped from $16 to $10 in mid 2012.

Well 9 BTC would not have made you a millionaire ^laugh^

I work for wages, but I try to buy BTC with 10% of my monthly wages. I also wait until the price is really low, before I buy, to maximize my profits, when it's very high.

I am a BITCoin Whoreder. ^Laugh^

No but the 3000 GBP I've invested to get 9 BTC would have if I'd invested it 2 or 3 years ago like I said.

hold it of course. If you believe in bitcoin.
you are in a pretty healthy situation. So you could have more patience to wait the wave coming.

Patience is one of the most important think in this kind of investments.

I'm not interested in selling.

Thanks in advance.

If you're cool for the long term, I'd buy more on a strong trend break (daily or higher time frame) or otherwise try to load up in the $200s. For myself, I will hopefully play a bounce off the mid-$300s before then..... nothing set in stone of course. Smiley

Well you will be very happy in a year or two. Cheesy I'm trying to get as much as possible until the next price spike, someone predicted late 2015/ early 2016.

Hope so.

I'm going to buy another 1 BTC at the end of the month to put me on 10 BTC.

hi guys. how can i invest in bitcoin and where? Smiley

With a few seconds and a few click I've found a link you might get useful: http://cointelegraph.com/news/111811/how_to_invest_in_bitcoin_without_losing_everything

Well, buying some bitcoin and putting it in a offline wallet or a paper wallet is the easiest way.

If you are in the US or Europe, you may use Coinbase. And if you are in other places, you may use Bitstamp and btc-e.
Or you can use localbitcoins if you want to do p2p trades.

I've got 9 BTC now but I just feel I got in too late.

Wish I'd known about BTC back in 2012, I'd be a millionaire now with what I've invested so far.

I am sure almost everyone here thought about that as well.
And for those entering bitcoin since 2012, they probably wish they have known bitcoin in 2010 lol. Tongue

Never invest more then you can lose.  Long term I see it going up, i believe in bitcoin.  But short term its been kinda rocky.  It's a good time to buy i think if holding long term.

I never hit 5BTC I didn't start early enough, and things kept getting harder for my modest setup. So for the average person to build up 1BTC today, without directly buying any, that's just wow. Once you buy specialized bitcoin equipment, you are not overall average, but maybe average here. Bitcoin needs more hoarders at the current moment, so the best thing people can do is hold what they have, buy more, and gift people bitcoins(hopefully people that don't know enough yet).

Despite the price drop, just hold.

Look at the bigger picture of the function of bitcoin and what it offers vs paypal etc.

This is just many things, but this just my view. You already surpassed the average btc holder, they only have like 1 btc at most.

Hi guys,

I'm new here but not particularly new to BTC.

I've been investing for just under 6 months & have so far amassed 8.75 BTC, I bought most of my coins when the price was around £350 (GBP) , unsure what that is in dollars but I'm at a pretty bad loss currently.

We're down to around £247 (GBP) as we speak, do I continue to invest in BTC or just hold what I've got?

I'm in a pretty healthy situation where the money I've invested so far isn't crucial to me, I live pretty comfortably so experts.......do I stay on 8.75 BTC or buy more gradually as I've done so far?

I'm not interested in selling.

Thanks in advance.

Hold it. I'm trying to acumulate more and more btc from signature campaigns here and saving them for the next price spike. Cheesy

If you are unsure, you don't have to buy now. Set money aside and buy with those when you feel that bitcoin price has started to recover. You would not have bought bitcoin at the lowest price, but you wouldn't be far off. Considering the potential gains, buying at $50 above the bottom price is nothing.

Just bought 0.25 so I now have 9 BTC in total.
