Hello guys, can someone please advice on how to: convert  BTC to USD via western union and receive the transfer in Latin America.

I want to sell some bitcoins but I see there are a lot os scam sites
If you have a bank account you don't need to find western union to trade bitcoin for USD, crypto exchanges are capable of swapping bitcoin and other altcoins to USD and deposit straight into your bank account no matter where you are from in the world, start with binance exchange and luno exchange, I'm 100% sure they support Latin America banks

All you need is exchanges that supports your country, it's not that hard to get, you can start from binance exchange, if you use PayPal the good news is PayPal now supports crypto payment and you can change to dollar and withdraw to your account direct

Try LocalBitcoins, you can sell it to Western Union on there, depend on seller. But be careful with some scammer on there.
Or go to Currency Exchange section and create thread if you want sell it with western union. Make sure use escrow.

Wow! I never would thought that it would be okay to sell it in western union? This would be amazing thanks a lot that I got to see this website it is a big thanks

Edit:but this reply would say thisss...

There are so many ways, you can simply sell your BTC to someone in exchange for USD and the person will send the fiat currency through western union. Ya, just like other users might have stated, buyers can be found in localbitcoin but you need to be super careful cause some of them tends to be fraudsters in disguise. Try and get a buyer around your vicinity and request for face to face transaction.

Reading this that it will not be helpful for Western Union to help you in selling your bitcoin  Sad

So here I would suggest use your wallet, you electronic wallet that is an exchange that is much easier and a specific wallet contains features where you could widraw your bitcoin income  to USD like my wallet in my country that got different options where you can pick a bank to widraw and I can see thatbis much safer.

I've come across similar service through the trading platform localbitcoins.com where you can find traders who accept as well provide amount through western union. Heard that western union charges heavy transaction fee than various other similar service renders for withdrawal and deposits.

But I'm not sure I have read western union provides such service. If it has started that will be very good. I think you can do your transaction through local bitcoin or exchange.
This is applicable, some time ago. But little reminders for the community. Too much personal nature, so good market should share this useful information.

I believe there are exchanges that supports the conversion of bitcoin to USD/USDT i haven't tried if you can withdraw through paypal or bank account but im sure some exchange site has that feature. Lucky for me my country accepts bitcoin and supports withdrawal to our fiat so i dont need unnecessary hassle to convert my btc's.
There are certain exchanges available which can then help you in converting your bitcoin or any other crypto coin into dollars which you can then use to meet up all of your expenditures. However, it is better not to take this step until and unless you are pretty sure that the market value of bitcoin is high enough and that converting your bitcoins will then help you in making more money.

Here is a link I have searched it in google https://www.launchwaymedia.com/blog/2017/8/7/15-latin-american-bitcoin-blockchain-startups-you-need-to-know

Also if you have a store there like 7/11 why not go there and ask if exchange bitcoin or if you see a little machine there go and see if you an app that could be an bitcoin wallet.

Also I have saw a bitso application in the playstore and the application is in latin why not try to log in and see where you cashout after you exchange your bitcoin to USD. There is a bitso in the link I provided you may have some trust issue because scams this day but why not try using software wallet that can be found in playstore/appstore.

Haven't done any transactions through western union, but have seen more traders on trading exchange accepting western union transfer. Making trade with those people will let you get the money through western union. I found those people has got a high profit margin than that of the common market.

Yeah your best bet would probably be localbitcoins.com as it's easy to track reputation and trustability there. I wouldn't go through Western Union if I were you though because they charge very high commissions. On localbitcoins you can even get cash in some countries so that might be the best option. Some exchanges can send wire transfers (Bitstamp is one of them). Or there might be a local exchange that can help you.

I've also heard good things about bisq because of its security and it's decentralized, but I haven't tried it myself.

If the amount is large look for a person who will change the cash on the Internet a lot of scams . Look for groups you have with cryptocurrency, and there you will find a person .

Why even groups can also scam and even groups can scam more easily. If you want to convert to fiat currency and receive in your western Union then localbitcoins exchange is the best and secure
