These scams just keep coming,  and they'll go on indefinitely unless people wake up and realize the world doesn't need any more shitcoins.  Sheep get slaughtered.

2,382.57% returns. Total shitcoin.

So it means that the ICO was a successful one and looking at the pre launch price it looks like investing during the ICO was a pretty smart move as the price is way above than in the ICO, in Hitbtc the price is around $3 and i am not sure the price will go down when all the tokens hit the exchanges, yet i am looking at a price of above $1.

Apparently more news will come in this segment, as the market has been favorable to the Aeternity project. So favorable that it ended up injecting more than 22 million Swiss francs (R $ 73.86 million today) with more than 7,000 employees in the second phase of this project.
Aeternity is involved in addressing the issue of scalability of smart contracts, and to provide a reliable solution to the interaction between real and digital worlds. The solution of the project is to put intelligent contracts in the so-called "state channels", while enabling the oracle distributed in the blockchain consensus mechanism.
In other words, the blockchain will only keep the validation of the contracts, not the contracts themselves. What would facilitate implementation and contracts would remain somehow anonymous, but fully verifiable and valid. According to the developers, who participated in the creation of Ethereum and Augur, the project will create a completely new blockchain, capable of processing an unlimited number of transactions within Turing's smart contracts, without the need for additional trust.

I think Aeternity it's a good project, but it takes a long time for you to see this Token in exchange already announce on their roadmap, and hope there is no postpone the token launch.

From where you can say that the Aeternity project is a good project, I think if this is a good project, it is unlikely that the project takes a long time, I am not sure this project can work like any other ico project project.

Can anyone clarify the non usa contribute on Aeternity ?   is this a CYA on their end for their own legal protection. I have seen non usa for fiat contribution and some on non usa contribute period.  What if we in usa contribute ETH anyway ?

Can someone shed some light on this thanks.

Blockchain Technology
A blockchain architecture that is scalable, governable and scriptable.

 INDUSTRIAL GRADE CODE BASE
Our core blockchain code is written in Erlang, which makes it easy to write distributed, fault-tolerant, soft real-time and highly available non-stop applications. Erlang is the perfect choice to write a blockchain from scratch allowing to achieve superior operational stability and performance.

 AE TOKEN
AE are the access tokens to the æternity network and act as a unit of account for the resources spent on æternity. Furthermore, æons are the energy for any application implemented on the platform. The initial amount of AE for the genesis block will be determined by a smart contract on Ethereum.

 ORACLES
A crucial feature for most contracts, whether encoded as text or as code, is the ability to refer to values from the environment. The æternity Oracle Machine provides real-world data to the blockchain. Each user can ask questions about the environment. Everybody can answer. The consensus mechanism comes into play in case of disagreement.

 ACCOUNTS & IDENTITY
æternity's accounts are permission-less, but still allow customization via schema.org's semantic web scheme. Create and own your identity on the æternity network - then use it everywhere on the web!

 BLOCKCHAIN NETWORKS
æternity technology is free to use and easy to incorporate.
MIT-licensed modules will allow easy implementation in blockchain consortiums and will enable free and open access for developers to be able to build on the æternity platform. Cross-chain atomic swaps do the rest.

 SMART CONTRACTS
State channels enable highly scalable, trustless transactions of value and purely functional, easily verifiable turing-complete smart contracts. State channels effortlessly support an immense throughput of transactions. The execution as well as settlement happens off-chain. In other words: They are one-to-one- sidechains, where the blockchain acts as a public crypto court.

 NAMES (DNS)
In the vein of Aaron Swartz’ work and Namecoin, æternity features an easy to use name system, that is both decentralized and secure, while still supporting human-friendly, memorable names. The blockchain’s state includes a mapping from unique human-friendly strings to fixed-size byte arrays, which are individually customizable.

There are other ICOs in April, to me, there are better opportunities, I will consider investing in humaniq and matchpool. Maybe Aeternity is a good one, but I can't invest in every ICO.

I think there was some drama in the matchpool slack channel where the lead dev said he was out and there are a lot of ETH gone. I would check into that before you invest.

How much ETH did the lead developer take?

Aeternity's first ICO begins on April 3rd and I'm interested in throwing a couple of Ether their way in exchange for AE tokens. 1 ETH will get me 1100 AE, meaning each AE is .045 cents. Is it worth investing in the initial ICO, or should I just wait until the coins hit the market? Thanks!

I think that now it makes sense to invest only in infrastructure projects, and this is one of them.

Thanks for looking out for me! I've read both of the articles linked. I read the Terms and Conditions top to bottom before contributing, occasionally cringing. I contributed 2 ETH to the project two days ago, just to see if it goes anywhere, but I've come to terms with the fact it may be a scam. I guess this will teach me a lesson about ICO's if it fails. I bought ETH earlier, so it only cost me about $50 for the contribution. I guess we'll see how it plays out   Undecided

is there any info how much have they made so far? How much is their goal?

They've made about $5,000,000 so far between the ETH and BTC raised (116,844 ETH and 296 BTC) and who knows what their goal is. They have another ICO (this is their "phase 1") at the end of May.

Dude, You can grab more cheap coins on the market if the main net will have launched.

But looks like the main net will still have a long time to go.

It bears quite a bit of risk considering how likely it is that money invested wouldn't have a chance to ROI for quite a bit of time. And even from there on out, a possible scenario would be that it's have no market value sufficient for a return of investment.

Especially if that project based on the smart contract innovation but I strongly disagree if that project was bringing a new innovation to us.

Just the same innovation with different methodology aspect. What the hell is that project? with simple correction on the methodology aspect and anyone should have said if that was bringing a new innovation for us? Too many the project just offering a little correction to get the kind word by a lot of the people if that's a new innovation.

It's worth it to contribute at least 11 ETH to get one of the free Ledger Nano wallets they are giving away to the first 1000 people Smiley

I was user ~720 and I got one. That will probably sell out tonight.
