Africa has the people that can advance Africa technologoically, but the level of corruption in Africa is alarming to the extent that leaders who are presiding over their affairs are the ones subjecting them to backwardness. Those corrupt leaders achieved this by stealing the fund meant for developing Africa technologically.
In response to this ugly situation, the only tool that could be used to advance Africa technologically is blockchain technology.
The reason is that blockchain technology can be used in election and financial institution of which via it Africa people can select a leader that will build Africa technologically. This will help Africa people to have control over their future.
Perhaps I just don't know that much about block chain. Could you please explain in practical terms how block chain technology would help African countries in their elections? I guess that you're implying that if different technology was used during elections, that the results of the elections would be different. I have a feeling though that in many countries the people are actually just choosing bad leaders. There can also be the problem that there aren't any good alternatives. Neither of these problems could be fixed by technology, as far as I can see.

The first is because of the war, the war has affected the normal life of the people, and the war will bring disasters such as famine to the country!

The country is not really developing, if you can expect the world to pay more attention to Africa.

Africa is rich in minerals and resources so it should be wealthy, but there is too much infighting and corruption. Blockchain technology will empower the people and they will get the wealth they deserve
You're right that it makes sense that they should be wealthy since they have so many resources. This certainly is not always the case though. You say there is too much fighting and corruption as if their are natural disasters. They are not natural. The question is, "Why is there so much corruption and fighting in Africa vs. other parts of the world?" How do you think blockchain technology will empower the people?

This seems like such a difficult question. I spent several months in Africa and visited 9 countries from Egypt to Angola. I spoke with many black people and many white people. It's so interesting that even though there are so many different countries and tribes and cultures, most of the black people seem to have some things in common. These are generalizations, of course, but interesting none-the-less. The white people we met told us that black people have trouble handling their money. They usually spend it as soon as they get it. One white man we talked to manages a big business. He said that it is not uncommon for somebody to come work for him for a month until he gets his first paycheck, then they never see him again. It's like their not good at planning and preparing for the future. Why that is, I don't know.

Seriously people seem to not realize that the news is a business and reports on what gets them the most ad revenue I.E. the bad stuff. take time to read a book on the subject so that you may understand the nuances and complexities of life there.

Hell I'd say do that for any subject you are interested in as news burbs seldom provide the whole story no matter what publication you get it from.

Come  one  guys,  we  are  not  that  left  out. its  just  that  the  media focuses  on  the  negative  aspects  than  the  positive  ones. let  me  educate  you.  ill  talk  about  my  country Kenya. Kenya  as a  high  phone internet connection  speed than  the  US and  south korea.  i  know  you  are  shocked,  yah  that  true.  you  can  read more  about  it here https://qz.com/1001477/kenya-has-faster-mobile-internet-speeds-than-the-united-states/. besides   from  that  the  country  is  considered  as   a middle  income country so we  are not poor but we  are Nowhere near developed countries.  when  it  comes  to  crypto we  are  doing  great. Kenya has  one  of  the  countries   with  the  highest bitcoin  per  capita  owners. we  are  no  five,  coming  before  the  US  and Uk.  https://kenyanwallstreet.com/kenya-among-countries-world-highest-per-capita-holding-bitcoin-citi/. I  really  dont  know   which  aspect  of  technology  are  we  not  adopting. please  explain  to me.

One thing drives the other factors and that is Africans are too religious and that makes them to be narrow-minded when it comes to accepting ideas that'll help them.

Security is still a main concern in many countries in Africa and that would scare away potential investors. If there are any, it's usually in low-tech industries, like mining.

The infrastructure is also not there, many places don't even have paved roads (especially those under dictators).

7. distrust because of skincolor race polarities (olthough this one is easy to resolve, and can be very marginal)

How Zimbabwe collapsed should be a warning. Used to be a bread basket, then became a basket case when they redistributed land out of whim to people who don't know how to manage them. Should have trained a new generation of farmers first but then again, what would we expect. Mugabe gave away much land to cronies. It's a sham democracy where the president "won" the lottery several times.

oh its causing lots of other problems as well, there is no investor confidence, due to those events.

Property rights is of utmost importance for investors. Why bother pouring in your money there if the government can just take your stuff at a whim. No one want to see their business end up like this. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ALD4stv2eA

Ok guys Africa is not backwards when it come to societal and technological development. sure most of it is at least a bit behind when compared to the likes of the UK or Japan but to say most of it is is rural or tribal is misleading. for most countries that encompass large swaths of landmass are technically "mostly rural" and given that in terms of sq kilometers Africa IS the largest continent by far its a given that it would be "mostly rural," To give some perspective ALL of the cities on earth could fit in the state of Texas with room to spare.

While on the topic of cities like everywhere else most Africans live in them and they are not tribal in the slightest, so to say it is "mostly tribal" is completely wrong.

But as to why low tech industries are the most prevalent in the continent is not a simple answer and open to alot of conjecture, especially from those who have an agenda. foreign industry, terrorism, corruption, the resource curse, civil war ect. ect. all contribute to the fortunes of Africans and what people dont realize is that the degree that each country faces varies significantly.

As a rule of thumb if someone says they know the answer to nuanced problems and issues probably doens't and certainly don't if they opt to break it down to several bullet points.

But that just like my opinion man.

I'd love to know why Africa is backward in technological advancements going on in the world today and also remedies to the situation.

mutliple reasons, as with all other big things

1. first you define high tech as technology that is quite complicated, uses advanced matter and means to further expand space technology, like internet e-cars, cryptocurrencies etc, tribal africans also do their discoveries, like how to hunt crocodiles better, how to preserve wildlife from illegal hunting. so it has its innovations but they are not huge corporate ones like in china/japan (consumer electronics, consumer goods production), usa or europe/russia (space technology, fusion science, high and matter science see graphene, robotics)

2. africa is tribal and rural mostly, it doesnt have the corporate structures yet to advance technologically.

3. education is not widespread and there are too many african langauges that make education difficult. similar issue is in india.

4. brain drain, as good educated africans systematically leave it for the west china russia etc.

5. wars due to poverty and political instability.

6. investors fear about their investments so they dont invest in africa. (called bad investment climate)

7. distrust because of skincolor race polarities (olthough this one is easy to resolve, and can be very marginal)

race itself is insignificant compared with those factors.

hope that helped,

regards
