As a Ghanaian the country is on the edges as we face Comoros in a few minutes, Truth be told, the Ghanaian Squad is very inferior and even if they win their game today, they will not progress any further in the competition.
After the controversial nature in which the last Ghanaian game ended (in a draw), I believe the black stars of Ghana would have to win this one, it's a must win for them if they are to qualify for the next round, there is prolly a lot of pressure surrounding the game, but I expect Ghana to win. Having said that, I know the Ghanaian national team doesn't have the same number of stars as they use to have in the past, I know the Ayew brothers are still around, but there are other big players that will prolly be irreplaceable, but if Ghana qualify, I still believe they will go another step further, I'm not tipping them for the title, but I don't think they will be eliminated in the round of 16.
It's obvious Ghana is going no where Comoros is already leading by 1 goal, A, Ayew has a red card making it a 10 men play against  11 men Comoros it's too bad having so great a squad but can't have a good management team to do the coaching. Ghana must be really missing Asamoah Gyan who has always been their savior in previous nations cup games
Ghana is on the verge of being eliminated from the competition except a miracle happens unfortunately they are playing with 10 men scoreline now Comoros 3: Ghana 2, it will be a big disappointment to their fans at home if they go home with just one point because their chances of qualifying as the best loser is also very slim and unrealistic with just one point, the Ghanaians underated the Comoros team and unfortunately they are out after a woeful and disastrous performance, a big disgrace to once a powerful footballing country in Africa.
It's even worse that they ended up bottom of their group with only 1 point.
Ghana's tragic display collapses with only one point. However harsh the red card for Ghana may have been, the Ghanians are still to blame for not taking their chances when they were presented. It is impossible to do things anyway and expect good results at AFCON. The time has come to go home and rebuild. I feel bad for Ghanaians.

From the last games of the group stages, most vital countries have performed less than expected.
Although Nigeria won't be part of this as they're looking forward on winning their last game, qualification for the next it sure but then they will be the first country to win all of their three games/matches.
Nine points in total as they will be hoping for the best in the next rounds to come.

Im really surprised today.
Ghana.... no words losing to a team already eliminated.
But the real surprise for me its Gabon without Abuameyang managed to pass the group stages and make some goals.
Senegal...... 1 goal in the group stages clearly dissapointing they have wonderfull strikers.

Lets see tomorrow the last champion Argelia...

Africa Cup of Nation all match almost end in draw. Score like 0-0 and 1-1.But we are expecting score like 2-3,2-0,2-1.I think it will be very disappointed every football fan.All team are good but they haven’t good scoring match.I think these team don't have a good goal scorer. My prediction goes to Nigeria , i hope  Nigeria  will win.

I think these are the kinda scores we should be expecting in AFCON competitions. with the exception of a few players, the majority of the players play at the local level and not at foreign clubs. This is why top players like Salah are unable to perform due to the fact that they're not playing with people who are familiar with their playing style. IMO, we would continue to see scores like this as the tournament continues. My money is on Nigeria to win it although Cameroun seems like a title contender.

Right before the end of the first round, third match is so tricky for almost all the teams you have mentioned ; After the incident occured in the match of Tunisia-Maly with the arbitrator who announced the end of the match twice times before the minute 90 and the Tunisian team refused to finish the match, CAP threated the Tunisian team that he will be punished, Morroco team said that he would leave the competition if Tunisia punished.

Nevertheless, such results are exactly twice as good as those that we saw initially (almost all matches ended 1-0 and many goals were scored from penalties)  Grin Cameroon could have won this game for sure, but they had no motivation to do so as they had already secured their place in the playoffs, so a draw was an acceptable result for them.
What's the point of fielding your strongest team when you've already qualified? I agreed with you that the outcome was fair because they didn't want to take any chances and needed to save their legs for critical matches coming up in the next phase.

I'm not expecting many goals, especially from the already qualified teams, in this final round. I'm expecting a lot of 0-0s and 1-1s.

I don't know, maybe it's to get more game practice because the coach considers the players to play badly with each other?
A funny situation in group B - even despite the defeat, Guinea reached the playoffs, but if Malawi had been a little more successful in the match with Senegal, then Guinea could have left the tournament.

It would be better if they lost and concentrate on the their upcoming World Cup qualification games.
It seems that you are too pessimistic about the performance of the ghana squad in the african cup, in my opinion it is better for ghana to fully concentrate on the african cup now, besides competing, of course the african cup can be a benchmark for ghana in testing the depth of their squad before participating in the world cup qualifiers later , soon the match between ghana and comoros will start, and this will be ghana's last match in group C, even though ghana is in third position but ghana still have a chance to qualify on the condition that they must be able to beat the comoro with a big score and also hope if gabon suffers defeat of morocco in the other match.

And you are already right for Senegal scoring a 0-0 against Malawi. Senegal is the favorite team at the bookmaker's for winning the cup but not much was seen of that today. Anyway it wasn't necessary either, Zimbabwe won surprisingly against Guinea. Zimbabwe is still out, Senegal wins the group and it looks like their first two rounds in the final rounds could be fairly easy games as well.

To be honest, Senegal does not deserve to advance to the next round. They have been terrible and have never won a game comfortably, with the exception of a last-minute penalty kick against Zimbabwe. They were one of my favorites to win the AFCON, but I lost hope on them after their first two games.

Most of the match is ending with draw which is 1-1,  I really want to see lovely goals like 3-1,4-2. It as after scoring a 1 goal they are okay with.  Though Cameron  tried in that match I will rate their performance more better than that of Cape verde, Cameron have been doing quite okay right from their first match in AFCON.

You are correct from a non sporting perspective. However if they do not play full power each game their morale and boost goes down and now they risk the direct elimination game to be not completely 100% concentrated. From a sporting perspective any team should play full power in each game in order to be 100% concentrated for the upcoming game in a tournament like this, this is not a local league where you can let some players at rest because there are not so many games here.Anyway we will see in this upcoming match for Cameroon their true power or not.
But this is exactly the reason why a rare situation like Cameroon had yesterday is used by the coach and the team. They were qualified for sure, so they can let important players rest a bit and don't have to give 110%. Of course, the players from the 2nd row that might have been given a chance to play they might be very motivated, but overall motivation and game quality suffers in such cases.

We might see a similar thing in Group D, where Nigeria only needs a draw to secure the first rank.

It is Africa Cup with teams almost close to each others. Historically known and powerful teams are no more, normies if we could say so with a slight advantage for some classic teams like Nigeria, improvement of some like Morocco and worsening of Algeria and Tunisia for example.
Besides, third match is always tricky, Cameroon is pretty sure they will proceed to the next round in the first place once they get a draw so why bother?
