...and the people who answered no, they explained the reason, namely because I was old, whereas if investing in bitcoin it had to be long term.
At 47, you can very well still invest for the long term. 7-15 years qualifies as a long term investment and at 47 you have more healthy years than that ahead of you to look forward to and possibly something to bequeath to your kin. Bitcoin can help you achieve all these if you invest prudently.

What distinguishes the middle aged to older generation is they seek out more stable investments and avoid more high risk assets, but if you do your research and apply caution while diversifying your investments, it could turn out successful.

I want to ask what do all my friends think about this problem?
This is not a problem, it is just a situation.

You're still young at 47 to do anything and invest in anything, especially Bitcoin, please age is just a number age is the least issue when it comes to investing in Cryptocurrency, and to motivate you further my neighbor who's already 75 years old invested a big portion of his wealth to Bitcoin and planning to make it as part of his inheritance, because he believes Bitcoin will eventually reach $1 million in the future and he wants his family to reap the rewards in the future.

thanks for the comment, now I'm even more excited to invest in bitcoin, it turns out I wasn't wrong to join this forum. yes,, indeed what makes me excited to invest in bitcoin or if I die first to give bitcoin inheritance to my children, because I see good potential in bitcoin and I see at cmc the bitcoin supply is only 21 million. so now I am very excited to invest in bitcoin, thanks to all of you who have given positive suggestions, Thank you for everything.

no problem with age. the most important thing is that you know how it works from your buy and store Bitcoin. moreover, you have another goal, save your Bitcoin for your child.
There's nothing wrong with age, the only thing is you have to tell your child how to access your Bitcoin wallet. without a seed or a key, what you plan to do can simply disappear when your child or wife doesn't know anything.
I hope you are given a long life, so you can enjoy your Bitcoin with your family.

Can you answer a rather strange question? Do you know how long your young colleagues, who told you that you are already too old for Bitcoin, will live? Do they realize that none of us know what will happen tomorrow? So calm these self-confident young men; you may outlive them all. Therefore, boldly invest and do not think about the timing. Bitcoin was created for everyone, and by learning it, you only develop, further improving your brain and body.
In addition, at your age, there are already more opportunities, which cannot be said about young people; there is already accumulated capital, which can many times exceed what young people have. Thus, your output from holding bitcoin will also be greater; you just need to wait for the appointed hour.

In my opinion, 47 is not too old, of course you can still invest in bitcoin. and your decision to keep investing in bitcoin is the right decision. and if you want to pass on a bitcoin inheritance to your child, if you have passed away that is a good thing.

I'm 47 years old, and I see and hear a lot of young people talking about bitcoin, and when I asked 2 young people and I asked, can I be the same age as me to invest in bitcoin? and the young people answered, 1 of them said they could, and the other said no, and the people who answered no, they explained the reason, namely because I was old, whereas if investing in bitcoin it had to be long term.
and the other young man gave me a hint, namely for me to join this forum to ask about me, who is old, is it worth investing in bitcoin or not?

but I personally will still invest in bitcoin because in my opinion there will be no loss in investing in bitcoin even in the long term, that is because I have children, even if I may have died I think there will be no loss, because I will tell my children when I invest in bitcoin .

and I will inherit bitcoin to my kid if I die first.

I want to ask what do all my friends think about this problem?

Of course the earlier the better, not just for bitcoin investment, traditional markets like stocks advises young people to invest early. However, in bitcoin, it's different because for one the market is very volatile, and we have this so called cycle, so in just a matter of 4 years you could get x amount of your investments if you get in at the right time, just like what we have today, in a bear market accumulate and wait  till the next bull run in 2024-2025.

As for inheritance, this article is a good read: https://news.bitcoin.com/death-bitcoin-digital-inheritance/

to ask about me, who is old, is it worth investing in bitcoin or not?

Just think like this: 14 years (and a few days) ago there was no bitcoin. Now it worth a lot.
And think farther: do you expect to live more 5-10 years at least? I really think so.
This being said I see no good reason you would not invest in Bitcoin. Of course, make sure you invest only money you afford to lose or at least to keep locked in bitcoin for long. And please invest if you think so, not because of strangers' advises over internet.

Plus, if you can leave it to your children, even better.

Make sure you set up correctly your wallet, hacks, scams and phishing are real. Easiest is to buy a hardware wallet and keep your coins there (and make sure the backup seed is always stored offline in multiple copies).

https://bit.ly/387FXHi lightning theory
You're only two years older than the ceo and founder of the largest crypto exchange (who started it in 2017) iirc, what makes you think you're old?

A lot of investors in crypto average around your age. A lot of people on this forum seem to be in their 30s and 40s too.

You need a bit of an ability to learn, the rest can be self taught. I'd suggest learning well before you start investing a lot though - the technology can be unforgiving. If you give it 6 months or something to leaen how things work you'll likely be taking less risks and making more informed choices about whether an investment is a good idea and something you can manage well.
