We know the oil market is booming and countries with oil resources are really making a huge fund out of it and sometimes they do it at the negligence of another local natural resource.

But, of course, the agricultural sector, though not given the proper recognition and the required investment is one sector that contributes seriously to the development and dependence of most nations .

No matter how blessed a country is with oil minerals, if its agricultural sector isn't working and she has to rely on other country for her food and agricultural resources then in event of war or political differences they might suffer.

Agriculture vs oil, which is the big deal when it comes to the economic strength of a country?

If we develop technologies powered by sustainable and financially feasible alternative energy sources, agriculture could become the leading economic force. Unlike oil, which is a finite resource, agriculture offers long-term potential. With vertical farming, we can even overcome land limitations.  However, currently, oil holds significant economic sway due to its widespread use in various industries.

online markets aka stock markets in forex or real market offline market. the petroleum market is more promising for big profits. in agriculture or plantations represented by palm oil in this case palm oil. which in the world of developed countries is a lot about because it destroys forests. maybe because in developed countries do not have large areas of land, aka not planting oil palm so many are against palm oil exports.

Agriculture vs oil, which is the big deal when it comes to the economic strength of a country?
I think both agriculture and oil are important in the economic strength of a country. There are many countries in the world where most people depend on agriculture, such as Vietnam, Bangladesh, India and many countries in South Asia are dependent on agriculture. These countries earn dollar income by exporting the crops produced in their country abroad which plays a major role in the economic development or strength of their country. But nowadays agriculture is also heavily dependent on oil as power tillers and tractors to cultivate agricultural land require oil to run the machines. Oil is used in most of the machinery and equipment used in agriculture.
Yes I agree with you. One is dependent on the other. One is incomplete without the other. In ancient times, people used to fill the gaps of tractors with cows and googs, but nowadays people cannot do farming without power tractors, tractors. And even though irrigation is done using electricity in some places, oil is still used in some places. On the other hand, oil is also used in the cargo vehicles or ships required to transport goods. So oil is required in almost all cases.  Again, without agriculture, our food needs will not be met.  Which will push us to death. So both oil and agriculture are very important for us. There is no alternative to any of these

The importance of oil in a country's economic power is certainly immense. No machinery can run without oil and arable land cannot be prepared without machinery. Suppose I have oil production plant in my country but no arable land in my country then I can trade oil in unique country and buy food grains from there then my cost to buy food grains will be less. So if you think about it, you will see that a country is completely immobile without oil. I can simply say that the importance of oil in terms of economic power is immense.
Yes, oil is of course a very important thing to be able to run machines that can work on land because without oil of course we have to go back to the past by using the help of animals to be able to cultivate agricultural land, each region certainly has its own advantages and disadvantages and for Countries that have oil revenues do not necessarily mean that their countries have fertile land to be able to find plants that can meet their food needs and the same goes for countries that have fertile land.
What you say is very true, currently oil is very important and has something to do with economic turnover.

Agriculture and oil both of importance for a country, but if you think comparatively, oil is very important for a country, because the transport sector has to fully depend on it, even farmers need to oil to run their rotary tiller, tractor and others machines, and agriculture is more or less produced in every countries but all countries have to be dependent on each other because it's not produced in all countries.
I know that oil bring money to country more than agriculture but the one that help a country to survive most in some difficult time is agriculture because the citizens will be feeding through their crops they cultivated from their farms in the country and they will not like food items in the land.

But those that depend on oil alone always experience some problem whenever there is a war or crisis in that particular countries they used to supply their oil to make money which it can cause the country to experience disaster that will take the life of their citizens because it will be difficult for people to live with plenty money without food.

Agriculture is important as oil,it is almost entirely dependent on oil for almost all it's activities.

Meanwhile,a country's economic growth and development, the both sectors have a prominent role to play together.
Although agricultural improvement is a powerful tool to end extreme poverty and hunger strike.Agriculture impacts the economy because its tied to other sectors of the economy including;supporting job creation and improving economic development.
Talking about fruits and vegetables, animal feed, natural rubber production, industrial products, pharmaceutical products.Agriculture impacts everyone, everyday.Agriculture offers an opportunity to improve the lives of millions of food-insecure people and help countries develop economies that create jobs and raise incomes. Today’s agriculture also impacts future generations.
I think about agriculture's oil dependence (from machinery to transportation) and how it affects efficiency and productivity. Doesn't this increase vulnerability? Oil price fluctuations effect agricultural costs, food prices, and economic stability. Still, more to consider. How can we reconcile dependency with eco-friendly agriculture as we move toward sustainable practices?

Agriculture is important for economic growth. I often wonder how agricultural advances support food processing and retail jobs. The sector affects trade balances, exchange rates, and national security worldwide. Your point about agriculture providing pharmaceuticals and industrial products emphasizes its relevance. Not simply feeding populations, but promoting a sustainable, economically viable future. Innovation in agriculture will shape the globe for future generations, right?

In terms of investment, oil is superior to the agricultural sector, but both are clearly needed for each other.  Agriculture can be managed without oil in traditional ways, but it can still be a source of life for anyone.  For example, for inland tribes, they don't need oil at all because they make better use of the surrounding nature by farming.  Agriculture and oil certainly both have advantages according to their benefits

The both resources are good for the development of a nation. The oil resource are refined into petroleum products like kerosene, fuel and diesel.Refined products of oil resources has really powered the light energy because we need fuel to power our electronic appliances, even the agricultural sector also benefits from the oil resources because it helps to power farm equipments which are used on the farm. There are so many countries that produces oil: Nigeria,China, Algeria,Ghana,India etc. Then when we get to the agricultural sector it's all about crop production, rearing of livestock etc.

Agriculture and Oil both have their own importance in the Economy of a country. but I think Agriculture can play a more vital role because OIL has a limited supply.
it can end at some point (not so soon but still) on the other hand Agriculture is something that can never end. farming corps.
trees. producing vegetables, rice and a lot of agriculture products.
Actually, there are many kinds of agriculture and oil when they are the result or when they have been processed, such as in several types of oil that are often needed in life. For example, oil for vehicles and also oil for cooking, which in this case is called gas, whereas for agriculture it is basically separated when each farmer starts cultivating on his own land. Although cooking oil is also produced through agriculture, such as palm oil or coconut, the basic ingredients are in that direction.

on the other hand, Oil has been playing an important role in helping farmers in their agriculture as well. running water motors, trackers, and a lot of agriculture machines which as been running on oil.
so as I said both of them have their own importance.
The important role of oil in life cannot be forgotten or denied by everyone because oil which is used as fuel for machines used by everyone has become quite important considering that almost all machines require oil if the machine does not rely on a system through power plants. So in conclusion, the two things that are considered important must always be present in life in order to avoid hampering the economic cycle of the local community or wherever that community is located.

However, I believe that agriculture is more important because not everyone can afford a car or other fuel-powered machinery, but in order to eat, you have to find a way to get food. Oil is also important because it is used in transportation because all electric vehicles are too expensive, leaving us with no other option but to use the ones that still run on fuel. If not for mechanized farming people use animals to make ridges because not everyone can afford to pay for tractors and other farm machines. Countries that don't produce oil spend good money to produce and now oil is even getting more expensive  because of all the processes.

If the government have focused on agriculture things would have even been more better than now we know that both of them are of good relevance to the government and for a long time now countries have given to much of attention to oil than agriculture and even places lie Dubai now are diversifying into real estate and tourism and does guys are just to smart. With time they say their is a possibility of oil running dry but agriculture will continue and even improve. Agriculture is like a constant in mathematics. It is just a matter of time electric motors will take over its just left for people to be able to afford.

You pose a false dichotomy, especially since agriculture today is highly dependent on oil. Fields are tilled with power tillers or tractors, grass is cleared with weed cutters, many crops are mechanized, like modern olive harvesting which is picked by machine, many fertilizers are derived from oil, etc. Without oil, agriculture would not have even 20% of its current productivity.

I totally agree with you,  without oil we can't transport and transportation play very essential role in agriculture, the agriculture level is great and it aid of oil
I can't even imagine how hard it was then with transportation though I was there but with the role oil is playing in agriculture this days I can't attest to to the fact that it wasn't easy

OP, no doubt oil has been talk of the universe but agriculture can never be out of the picture, with the news everywhere, Oil will soon be declining in price, and the rate at which people will be needing it's products will start diminishing, but Agriculture will continue to progress in any country because no one can do without food, countries goods production differs that's to say that individual countries needs each other Agricultural product to be in survive, before this time when oil exploration was not much, the only survival was Agriculture, this takes to a conclusion that Agriculture can be the only source of financing a country.

When it comes to economic strength agriculture stands far out. It stands out in human capital development. Literally, anyone with a primary school degree can work in Agricultur-- unskilled workers but in the oil sector, it is restricted to only the most educated. In my country I feeling the agriculture can boost the economy if the government pays more attention to it.

The relationship between oil-producing and agricultural nations exemplifies this interdependence. Oil-rich countries rely on agricultural products to feed their populations, while farmers depend on oil to power their machinery and transportation systems. This mutual reliance highlights the interconnectedness of global economies and the importance of international cooperation.

In a globalized world, no single country can claim self-sufficiency. Each nation contributes its unique strengths to the global economy, creating a tapestry of interconnectedness that benefits all. This interdependence extends beyond economic considerations, encompassing cultural exchange, technological advancements, and collaborations in addressing global challenges.
This means that every country has good relations in the agricultural sector and also countries that do not have oil revenues need oil to be able to run their machines to be able to cultivate land to plant crops that can be exported to other countries.
Yes, you are right, each country has its own role in contributing to each country's economy and this is interdependence between one country and another and also progress for each country.

Oil and agriculture both important but oil is more important because we all know the agricultural depends on smart cultivate. To run smart vehicle for agriculture need oil. Without oil we can't run smart vehicles. Thats the reason oil is needed. But if you are thinking about a country economy then oil and agriculture both play a provital roll.
