BTC to bytes: 1 BTC of proven balance gives you 62.5 MB (0.0625 GB)
My first time here Cheesy Do I get this correct: 1 GBYTE is currently worth $70.70, so owning one Bitcoin gives you $4.42?
So someone who owns thousands of Bitcoins can cash in quite big?

Yeah that is the downside of the distribution of some airdrop in my opinion.  Only the rich people can become richer especially those giveaway that is based on the BTC holdings in their wallet.  Though PI is quite different but byteball and lumens are definite fall under the category I am talking about.  UR is quite tiring since we need to refer people to get bonuses. Something like multi level company.

Nice , I got PI going and looking into stellar, UR looks like a waste of time in my opinion with all the referrals.

I love airdrop because this is much better than ico and can easily get community support ,the only downside is people dump their coin at the earliest exchange, airdrops are good if you want to get your coin listed via voting on voting supported exchange, because those bounty hunters will help you to get the coin on exchange ,so they can dump their free coins.

aren't airdrop a away to giveaway for free coins, because they removed the giveaway on bitcointalk? it sure this must be the reason, they are ok if they are not pure pos, because pure pos with airdrop is bad, people will dump in the exchange and forgot the coin which will die quickly, if they have pow they can be good, i'm following picoin project the dev is active and he is thinking of adding new features in the future

https://www.stellar.org/blog/bitcoin-claim-lumens-2/

An awesome move from stellar! Be a part of distribution and don't forget to subscribe to their mails and keep the note of the distribution dates. Both BTC and XRP holders will be able to claim their stakes in Stellar distribution. A good example set by the team of  Stellar in this age of ICOs!
