I don't know what is the difference between egbytes with other erc20 tokens. Etherscan can't read this token , but when I check on etherdelta I have noticed I had 26 egbytes there.
If you want you can try to import your private key to etherdelta to check whether you already received egbytes or not.

It is starting to get boring to make tokenized versions of coins. Let's make coinized versions of tokens instead!
They will soon start doing that as well (i think) all they need to need to release one coinized version of token and more will keep following automatically as it happened with eTokens.

No. You are missing the fundamental concept of the block explorer. Etherscan, EthPlorer, do not lie. If you put in your eth address, you see all tokens, and all eth.
While it is true that eGBYTES shows on MEW, the balance is zero.
There is no confusion.
It shows in etherscan, or ethplorer, do not spin this to EtherDelta which has nothing to do with anything other than trading.
Again, nothing shows in metamask either.
So in other words, I sent eth to this and got nothing. Until I see anything, THIS IS A SCAM. Until it is addressed.
