Anyone still joins airdrops this day? If Yes which platform are you using to participate in Airdrops? I'm using coinmarketcap but I never get a single payment from projects on the platform.
this year the airdrop cannot be relied on and surely the average airdrop is a scam. maybe 4-5 years ago the airdrop could be one of the profitable ones

The rate for the genuine free airdrop was so little or it was in any event, getting more modest from day to the one more day. The opportunity for you to get a few bucks from the airdrop is so little nowadays. I stopped participation with airdrops after 2017, when the end of bull session. After that i haven’t join any airdrop cause now airdrop tokens are valueless. Recently i tried 2/3 airdrop though telegram bot cause i though that will be hit project in 2002. So I did all task and later i got to know that airdrop was scam. This is why i decided to keep myself away from airdrop
you could not take summary airdrop was scam from only 2 or 3 projects. dozens airdrop project launched daily in market and alot of them get reward to participants. we admit some airdrop distribution use new scheme which is allow only thousand participants not all depend on their budget and maybe you join in this type and not be the winner. maybe if work more project , more probability you will earn money.

I usually participate in airdrop events from exchanges, this will increase my chances of getting rewards and I won't spend too much time on them. Most recently, I participated in the NFT airdrop event from MOBOX held on Binance and I sold my NFT for $50.

I'm not sure if it's hard or not when I can still find airdrops that pay people to join them. Perhaps the problem is that the small rewards are not attractive enough for those who are familiar with this market. Aside from the shitcoin scams, airdrops that bring large sums of money are not as common as before, since most of them are only created to attract interaction with basic tasks, so there is no need to hope too much with them.

Nowadays, there are better ways to make money and guarantee it to those who invest time, knowledge, money, etc. I find airdrop no longer attractive when there is a bunch of rubbish. Perhaps a simple job like performing social networking tasks does not need too much hope in terms of money that we can earn when some people with IT skills can apply and practice. show spam bots to do airdops.

Maybe our approach to airdrops is a lot different. Honestly, I have spent a good amount of money trying out many of the DEXs in this space and am hoping to get retroactives in the future. Going forward, I'm also hoping Metamask will have nice rewards from buddy usage.

During 2022 I did not join the airdrop as long as I joined the airdrop I was very disappointed that the token distribution was not distributed, I finally decided to join the bounty project. 
Before, I am joining airdrops when I have nothing to do but right now, not anymore because I am now busy. I am using airdrop alert, coinmarketcap, and also some airdrop groups on telegram. Those 3 are my main sources of airdrops but I sometimes join an airdrop that I saw on social media like twitter and facebook, only if I find them interesting.
Coinmarketcap airdrops are supposed to be the trusted among all but even on this site, I sometimes won't receive my prize, I don't why. Maybe the project have turned into a scam? Or maybe I am just a little bit late to join the airdrop because sometimes they are first come first serve basis but sometimes they work randomly.

I have tried my luck in early adopter airdrops. Although some of them have paid me decently like the Aqua, Fox and DappRadar, most of them who are using Telegram bot are simply “trash”. So this is just more on being lucky because those who are having lots of referrals are likely going to receive much bigger (but not all of them like the recent FaceDAO). Ain’t a fan of participating in a lot of airdrops anymore.
Felt you mate for that was also what I've experienced lately. It wasn't just like 4-5 years ago as the majority of the free coins are valuable, I can even sell them at a decent price. But now, we are just looking for a needle on the grass, looking for something hard to find legit and valuable airdrops as the majority of them are fake. I wasn't expecting this will change, perhaps, airdrops now are less noticed rather than being participated by many. It was the time to forget about the airdrop, I think.

All those points you listed are good to watch out for before joining in any airdrop giveaways. But I do not believe that even when the airdrop teams promise to meet all that, that they keep their promise. They like to change the rules after the tasks have been done and deadline passed and by then it would be too late for those who participated to do anything. I suffered this and that is why i do not like taking part in anything that is airdrop. No transparency and truth with the way those who handle it do it.
Many airdrops behave unfairly after we finish joining, including reducing payment allocations, delaying distribution, and not even distributing them for unreasonable reasons. I certainly prefer joining a bounty over an airdrop, of course only for good projects.I agree that instead of joining the airdrop, I prefer to join the bounty campaign,
