even you say it was a SCAM many person has joined in a AIRDROP like that, because they trust too much, but not all airdrop are scam i think, but i hope this scammer's will be banned in this forum so they can't scam again.

Funny to hear that from you since I see "eZEC" under your avatar which is a decent scam also so literally you are a scam promoter.

It is also responsible of each user to scan or search the tokens before signing up.
It is very basic, just visit the website, find the whitepaper, browse other pages that will make you understand more about the token/coin.
You are not a child to distinguish whether the website is fake, trash, legit, good, etc.
Re-check the address, contract, symbol, exchanges etc.

Not because there is a google form it is already a legit airdrop.
Some may just want to get followers on Twitter, Fb or Telegram.
Specially those who are asking for your private key. Avoid that.

However, not all asking for donation are scam. That is why you need to do your own research before investing or donating certain amount of eth.

For my experience, tried 2 times sending 0.002 and 0.003 eth and i never received anything. Not even any update about the project. And yes, even the amount looks very cheap and its hard to believe to a scam, if its multiplicates by 1000 accounts or more, its getting big money. Write a thread on the forum take only 1 or 2hours, so if they get 600$ everytime its real scam.

This is one of the reasons why we created The Ethereum White Project. To protect everyone from these scams and popup tent ICOs. Governments cannot do much because we are so decentralized. A decentralized issue requires a decentralize solution. We at Ethereum White plan to provide that solution!

yeah that's right.. some Airdop requere to send 0.003 ETH, joined and then the price of token from Airdrop in etherdelta is very cheap, maybe just a few gwei only.. but if they reach 10.000 user or participant, it is a simple count, maybe they will get 0.003*10.000 = 30 ETH, that's not fair  Grin

how are they exactly scamming you? I've joined two that you needed to send 0.002 eth that's like 60 cents. If I am going to get scammed I would lose 60 cents. Apart from that, how am I going to be scammed? Will my eth address in someway be compromised or something??

Perhaps it is not a problem to you to lose that 60 cents,
But just do the math, if there is 1000 registrants, dev will have that 2 eth free money for himself
how about 10k registrants? 20k? 30k? 50k?
And there is no proof that the token he is going to distribute will worth more than 0.002 eth LOL

Some of them don't even have websites or social media accounts, but they have an ANN on bitcointalk.

And they are asking people to send ETH for an airdrop, and they can't even take the time to make a website or start a Twitter?

That's lame  Sad

the fact that they are collecting any amount from the members here is already wrong. I though airdrops are given for free.why it is needed to send some eth to them? lets say they ask for 60 cents and total participants on their airdrop is 5k. so .60 x 5000 = 3000 usd. that's huge bro! they're making some money out of it.

0.002 eth that's a small amount,but what if 3000 people donate? 0.002 ETH x 3.000 = 6 ETH
Generally airdrop E token can reach 6.000 participants, maybe they will send a token to the participants, but can you ensure that donations from the participants will be used to buy order in the market? no one can be sure of that

They reasoned to avoid cheaters on airdrop, actually many ways to avoid it,why should use the donation way?are they lazy?and I think the donation system is ineffective to avoid spammers, what if spammers make lots of addresses and make donations?
most of the recent airdrop has a standard idea,no innovation and just nonsense
